  Thanks for reporting this. Have you tried to replace the theme in the Public folder of the original and re-apply the theme?

  Hello, I'm trying to create an Adobe Captivate project using version 9 of the trial. When you try to make an object appear after a certain number of seconds in the slide, I'm running constantly in question. It works fine at the opening of the piece.   You must extend the length of the two buttons to the rest of the slide.   Ok.  By the look of your screenshots you have deleted some elements of the quiz question slides.

  Were you remove all standard legends such as the legend of title or caption Quiz, or items such as the control box?

  I use Captivat 5 quiz with 17 questions in a Question pool to be randomized, if I wan the quiz for showing 10 of the 17 questions randomly, how can be done?  Help, please!

  You can add 20 question to your question and then go into ' Quiz > Question Slide > select at random 'Question' and type '10' in the text box.» Select your pool of the Question and it will insert 10 random questions from the question pool you have created.

• Captivate crashes when editing Question pool

  Captivate v5.5

  I have a project with 36 questions in a question pool.

  I need to change some of these QP issues but as soon as I start doing this I get the message that Captivate has encountered an error... Sorry... and needs to close. I tried three times and he does it every time.

  I edited questions many times before PS without this problem.

  I do not work via the company network, but I just moved locations of part of my office to another, in which case it means something.

  Can anyone offer suggestions. I am happy to provide more details if necessary.

• Captivate 6 and IE questions

  I use a PC, Win 7 OS 64 bit, 3.2 GHz with 24 GB of RAM.

  Using Captivate 6, I developed a voice-off Preview: project is 27 MB.

  The project has been working well and the publication. I tried to put one of our intros of swf e-Learning on the first slide (5 MB) and the file began to post questions. First, the background of slide 3 will display parts of himself on slide 5. I deleted the opening .swf, replaced by a static png image and thinned backgrounds.

  When I work in Captivate, slide function as they should. However, when I publish the file (SWF player 10.2, 9, 10 and 11), instead of playing each slide, it will move to a new slide, show the background and play the audio. However, the PlayBar displays the triangle "play" and will play none of the interactions (or text) that are timed. You will need to click on the set button 3 or 4 times for the slide show text boxes / highlightboxes, and then click boxes.

  It's the same in IE and Firefox.

  I tried to delete the synchronization problem having all the elements to load with the slide. They will all the loads, but you can not move forward except if you select the play button 3 times.

  I knew a few weird things with Captivate 4, 5 and now 6; but it left me speechless.

  Any thoughts?

• Captivate 5 - Audio import questions

  I'm trying to import an audio file of 30 min on a blade.  It was in Captivate 4 no problem.  In version 5, the chronology is slow and often play not at all.  When I saw or publish the slide, it plays for a few seconds and then turns off.

  Captivate slide timeline starts to get lazy for a longer period and it is designed to operate for a maximum of 999secs (about 16mins). So I suggest you dispatch the audio file on multiple slides, say 5 slides with 6mins each. In this way, in my view, the problem of chronology would resolve.

  You are the project on a hosting server and play on a client? Also, what is the percentage of preloader in Captivate? This can be found in preferences of Captivate. Do the following-

  1. open your project in Captivate 5

  2. go to the menu items "Edition > Preferences.

  3. in the 'Préférences' dialog box, go to "project > Start and End" and look for the percentage preloader.

  Set it to 100% (if not already) and check if audio plays project now.

• Character style question

  Hello... I have a question of character style.   I haven't used too many sliders, but I guess you have to move the cursor, either by dragging or by setting its value with a property node.

• Captivate 9 alignment Quiz questions

  Hi all

  I'm having a little trouble and am unable to find a solution anywhere on the web (so far).

  Let me explain the situation:

  I created a master apron for my business and put everything in plans, good color, and all in the master apron looks perfect.

  However when I add questions to multiple choice or true/false quiz slides to a new project the alignment of the response overlap and may not be suitable.

  After that, I noticed, I went back to the master slides and tried to change alignment here before trying to add slides to a new project.

  Once again the A / B answers where superimposed and I was unable to move either to another location.

  Try to recover the box response and displacement it causes all forms and all other objects on the slide to warp out of shape, while the answer superimposed boxes remain the same.

  Master slides that are do are: multiple CHOICE, T/F, FIB, sequence and multiple CHOICE, T/F, FIB, sequence2

  My version number is: 9.0.1.320

  I solved the problem I had with the alignment of the quiz answers.

  It was with the corner radius cut response fields "cemented" in a certain placement of page layout.

  By decreasing the RADIUS response has become incorporated into the form again after box placement which in the live slides I could handle once more the placement of the response boxes.

  So if the alignment of the fixed elements is off and cannot be moved over, check the corner radius to make sure that the object that is aligned incorrectly is embedded in the form once more allowing it to be manipulated to your favorite place!

• Paragraph styles question: is it me?

  Whenever I create or even try to apply a paragraph style in the ID, despite the size of the font, I indicated in the style, and whatever style I choose, my fonts appear on the page as 24 points. I tried to delete styles and start again, but no luck. It's stopping me from using paragraph styles and forces me to use manual formatting everything until I get this fixed. Could sure use some help!

  Check your character Styles palette. There must be a character active 24pt style. (By design) character styles replace paragraph styles. Character change none style, and that should fix.

  I was wondering how to get the css and all styles. All I see IS the designer of CSS and I can't find simple css tabs styles that I'm used to previous versions of dreamweaver.

  Personally, I prefer to work in mode code with features the DW code hinting.  For my workflow, it is much faster.  But some people really like the Visual Designer.  I think he should just get used to.

• Captivate 7 show / hide question

  I use a simple tip action to display and hide a group of 2 objects (a legend of the image and the text).
