Captivate 9 - How to add color effects?

image.jpg

Color effect seems to have disappeared in 9 Captivate. All examples of video I've seen in Captivate 8 seem to point to a function which is absent in 9. The image above shows the color effect function to 8, but is currently elusive in 9.

Basically, I want to change the color of a menu button each to shine once clicked. I need to stay rougeoyée with a view to indicate that a page has been seen, regardless of how many times he has subsequently clicking on it. Help, please...

All the effects that were not supported for output of HTML5 disappeared 9 Captivate. Even Adobe is so say that the power of the Flash is dead even for eLearning with Captivate.

There are many other ways to indicate that a button in a menu was clicked: why are you trying not to new multistate objects? In this blog, I showed some examples, but not for a menu/dashboard:

1 share = 5 buttons toggle - Captivate blog

Create a custom button state (there already 3 InBuilt Normal said, turning and facing downwards). Add the "clicked" State where you can put a shadow colored button, or another semi-transparent color on the top of the key, or a check box next to the button... And use the event on enter the menu for a conditional action slide (you will need to follow the click using a user variable) to show that State rather than the Normal State. Here are a few screenshots of this example, the first image before clicking any key:

When returning to the dashboard after having visited the first chapter, the text on the button of the form was changed, it has a different tint and the first petal of a flower appeared; When all the chapters have been opened, you should see the whole Flower:

  • How to add these effects?

    I am a total rookie when it comes to create things... but recently, I made the switch from obsolete Fireworks enforcement to Illustrator.

    Well, now I need to reproduce the expired work I've done in Fireworks, a few years ago and do things to work in Illustrator.

    - For example; I want to reproduce the logo of the site on http://www.budogala.com (this is MY company btw, so I own the brand name).

    Back in Fireworks, I used the ethnocentric police and some base bevel internal.
    Can someone explain to me in detail how to add legal effects to the police within the Illustrator?
    Where can I find these effects in the menu, and how to add them to the letters?
    As you can see in the logo, it must have a metal rocket to her, and letters should be 'alive' (not flat).

    My setup;

    Mac end of 2015

    OS X 10.11.5
    Adobe Creative Cloud v3.7.0.272

    You might take a look at the effect extrude & bevel.

    Select your type with the tool Selection (V)

    In the appearance Panel, click on the context menu of fx at the bottom of the Panel and go to 3D > extrude & bevel in Illustrator.

  • How to add colors to my company permanently?

    Of course, I know how to add colors by document but I just can't understand how I can add colors to stay. I mean, so that they are listed when I open a new document in InDesign.

    A response in English is perfect, but if someone wants to be able to answer in Dutch it would be a little bit more easy since I use the Dutch version of InDesign.

    To do this, close all documents (but leave InDesign open).

    Now add any colors you like. You will find that any new document you create includes these colors.

  • How to add video effects to images in the timeline in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6?

    Hello

    Can anyone help me please with the following? I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, and I have a sequence of images which I imported it in video editing. I want to apply the effect 'Chained' to all the images, but I'm not able to add the effect to all images at once? I can do one at a time without problem, but it is of course very time consuming when it comes to the thousands of images.

    I've tried highlighting all and CTRL + C, CTRL + V with no luck. Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much.

    Before putting pictures on the timeline, use "Automate to sequence" with the cross dissolve as the default transition. Cross dissolve is not an effect, but a transition.

  • How to add color to the model of the popular Republic of CHINA purely composed of polygons driveshafts

    I created a purely composed of polygons triangulated model of people's Republic of CHINA. Each polygon in my model is for a party.

    Now I want to add color to the model of the people's Republic of CHINA, a plain color RBG for each polygon.

    I'm confused about where I put the color data?

    I just want to create the color in the simplest. Not necessarily to use texture or material.

    Can I add the RGB color value to the top of each side of the triangle?

    Or to use the material attached to each polygon or part?

    Or use the texture? (But I have no any file, like the JPG file, which represents any texture. Want just a solid color)

    Thank you

    MD

    > I'm confused on where I put the color data?

    Popular specification of Format of Republic of CHINA: SerializeContentTessFace

    > Can I add the RGB color value to the top of each side of the triangle?

    Yes, you can (see above), but per-vertex color surfaced opaque and immune to lighting.

    > Or to use the material attached to each polygon or part?

    It is also possible, but can degrade performance.

    > Or must use texture? (But I have no any file, like the JPG file, which represents any texture. Want just a solid color)

    If the Setup is possible create a custom texture to receive color data is the usual way to go.

    BTW, what tools do you use to create the PRC file?

  • Captivate 9 - How to add multiple actions to a button

    HI all, on Captivate 9 I have created a status display slide with four buttons, so when the user clicks on each button, they will see different content.

    I want to force the navigation to make sure that the user clicks on THE 4 buttons (in order that), before being able to see the button "NEXT" will appear on the screen that will allow them to move to the next slide.

    I think I need to create variables and stocks advanced on each button to create this logic, but how do I add additional actions on the same button? Under 'The ACTION', I see that all the buttons have an action to open the contents of the status display when you click on:

    action-captivate.jpg

    Is it possible to add another action to the same button?  Please share instructions to help me create the logic to do this? Thank you very much.

    You need user variables and conditional action with two decision for each of your buttons. I posted this workflow many times, but it's so hard to find the wire. Another try:

    1. Create 4 variables v_one, v_two... v_four with a default value of 0. they will be changed to 1 when the user clicks on the associated button.
    2. Create a conditional advanced action for each button, with two decisions:
      1. First decision 'Always' is a standard simulated action
        IF 1 is equal to 1
        Assign the v_one with 1
        Change the State of...             the action that you had one this time
      2. Second decision "CheckVars".
        IF v_one is equal to 1 AND
        v_two is equal to 1...
        ....
        is equal to 1
        See the Bt_Next
        Select Bt_Next

    Create a similar action to each button, only the first decision will have to be modified (the variable and the state change).

    The Bt_Next button should be hidden in the output to start with. Don't forget to define points of suspension of the 4 buttons at this very moment. For the next button, you can have a break at the same time or later.

  • How to add color to a digitized text TIFF image?

    The scanner has delivered a grayscale file, then perhaps that mode must be changed to CMYK in PS6. I did it.

    And the file provided with just a background with no other layer. Perhaps may not be color horizons? I tried to change/add a layer and setting the backround on it in blue. It has no effect on the image which remains black on white.

    Ideally, the text would be like a mask on a layer of color. But a readable with colors result would be nice.

    Click on layer 1 to target. Then go to edit > fill and choose your color. Set its blending Mode to multiply.

    (Kendall and OldBob describe a slightly different method - with the color behind the text layer. In your case, anyway works.)

  • How to ADD color settings to softproof to match print?

    I calibrated my screen and added the printer color profile the test of Lightroom. The result is good, but the color and the contrast is still slightly outside the blue parts. I can change those by changing the settings in the calibration of the camera and the brightness of the LGV. I saved these changes to a model.

    No, I just want to ADD these changes to each image I want to print. Howevery, existing modifications will be replaced by the model, instead of added.

    What is the best way to add corrections to the test in multiple images?

    A preset in the develop module will define the preset values, they are not additive. The saturation level of blue-15 is an exact value that will be applied if it is what is in the preset. If you have a group of images which need this adjustment also highlight these images and turn automatic synchronization and manually adjust. You can also create other presets with settings different blue saturation.

    Develop adjustments made in the quick settings in the library module are related, but you are limited to the adjustments that can be made. And color setting you are looking for are not available in this mode.

  • SphereGallery: how to add MouseOver effect in ArrayObject

    Hello
    The following code block represents a sphere which is made from multiple photos. The project contains jpg small thumbnails and their corresponding pictures that are loaded when thumbs are clicked of course.
    I have a problem to find how these small thumbs changes color when they are clicked and to stay in this State/color, so that the user knows what inches he was clicking on, when he returns to the "Council".

    I'm putting a function nested inside the following function:

    Code:
    function setUpPics():void {

         //first circle
         thumbsArray[0]=[new Bitmap(new Small1(70,53))];

         thumbsArray[0].visible=false;

    if Small1 clicked, then color it RED...  something like this...

    }

    but I can't understand how to do this, and if this is the right way to do it. The "Small1" is the name of liaison for the thumb of small1.jpg which is in the library.

    thumbsClasses is an array of instances of classes in the library.

    In th function onThumbClick, you are referring to 'this' - it relates to the current content, i.e. timeline and there is not another _color property. If you want to tween thumb - you must refer to e.currentTraget:

    Tweener.addTween (e.currentTarget, {scaleX:1, scaleY: 1, time: 1, transition: "easeoutelastic"});

    How to add effects to a clip of "picture in picture" in iMovie?

    I was wondering if it is possible to add effects to the clip PIP (the one that just overlap the main video) is that possible?

    Specifically what I want to achieve is to have my picture in picture clip melted on anything, but keep the video in the background.

    I use iMovie 10.1.1

    I ACTUALLY JUST FIGURED OUT HOW DO!

    For all of you who were wondering the same thing, you select the item, and at the end, you should see two small buttons. Click on the one at the top and drag it backwards and it is the duration of the fade.

    You can also do it at the beginning of the clips as well

    I'm with Peter, but since the curves can be intimidating for a new user, try some of the presets at the top of the curves adjustments Panel to see if it will work for you.

    There are commercial Photoshop actions available for this type of effect, if you search on GraphicRiver Photoshop-> Actions-> and then do a search for 'Paint' within these results. Here is an example:

    Effect of paint 20 - Photoshop Action | GraphicRiver

    I am not affiliated with that one either by the way, I just did a quick search there and it was one of the first results. You can also find people offering similar actions for free, you can follow step by step and see how it's done.
