Captivate 9: Quiz test - correct answers appear behind others
Hi all
Hopefully an easy fix. As you can see on the image, all by examining the quiz the answer appears under slot the next part of the question.
It is a question of style "fill in the blank.
Other types of questions, the correct answer will appear on top - it seems possible!
Any help is appreciated!
Thank you
Thanks for the reply.
Fortunately in the meantime I managed to work around the problem, thanks to someone else with a similar problem: Re: Captivate 9 - fill in the Blank consultation Mode - hope this will help others.
The finished result
I will also report this as a bug.

I have a quiz 8 Captivate, I have been struggling with - having several questions, but I'll deal with this one first. Right now, it's the button continue. It is supposed to only appear when the answers of the quiz are correct (70% to 'continue'). When the answers below the minimum of 70%, the Retake Quiz button, makes however the continue button. Is there a solution for this? BTW, the is my button, a smart shape, I did and use it as a button to continue.
The standard button to continue on the Quiz results slide appears always right from the beginning of this slide. You cannot see towards the end of the time, or show/hide with advanced Actions. One option that you have is hide it under one of the other buttons (for example the quiz recovery button). Simply place this right on top of the button continue. Then the learner can not see until they have passed the quiz or exhausted their attempts.

Captivate 4 and Firefox / Chrome - Quiz advances without answers
Hello
I hope someone can help me!
I have Captivate 4, and my quiz works fine in Internet Explorer. I use hot spots, with random question slides, and it works fine when I run from Internet Explorer. But when I launch Firefox or Chrome, the FIRST time I start the quiz, he shows the first question for just a few seconds and then advances. However, it does not show anything for me click on advance and it becomes basically hung up.
If I then go back and re-launch the quiz on the same window, the test works very well and does not advance until I answered the question. And the certificate at the end captures the score correctly, as well as the partition successfully sent to our database.
Here are some parameters (if all goes well I am providing those needed to solve the problem...)
Properties of the question:
classified
allows the user a chance
using hotspotsQuestion SLIDE properties:
Display time 5 sec
no transition
on the slide, enter continuepublication parameters:
Flash player 9
ActionScript AS3updated the skin
Exit e-Learning e-mailPreloader 100%
end of project actions: send e-mail
Statement on
allowing a move backward
display of score at the end of the quiz
required: answer all
success or failure of 80%
If crossing send email if omitting no action
I have flash player 10 on my computer. Firefox 22.0. THAT IS TO SAY 10.0.9200... Chrome 28.0.1500.71
Looks like it is related to the version of actionscript or the flash player version. Don't know who. I put it to AS2, and the parameters for the flash automatically reverts to the version 9. Re-released, on site, then reread reloaded in firefox. Worked well, except for the certificate, which had flashing fields with no info by them. Then maybe? This means that I need to find an OLD certificate to use?

How can I display the correct answers in a quiz about Adobe Presenter 10?
Hi all.
I am new to Adobe Presenter.
I finished all the questions of the quiz, but I want to show the correct answer when the user chose a wrong answer and submit it.
I tried many things and does not display the correct answer.
Thank you.
Rafael.
The correct answers are displayed after the quiz is over and the user examines the quiz. If you want the answer to be revealed to the user in the quiz, then you will need to customize messages of comments to indicate the right answer. They are just the text boxes on the slides, so you should be able to easily add text to them.

Issue area in Captivate 5 quiz review
To test a quiz that I created in Captivate 5, I find that the incorrect and Correct answers in the study area are truncated vertically. How can I get this text appears completely?
The best you can do is use a smaller text font. The area of review Captivate 4 and 5 is not very configurable. If you can upgrade to Cp 5.5 it is much improved.

Pointing out the correct answer after failing to question?
Hello
I'm experimenting Captivate 7 and worked on how to do just about everything I need it to do. I have 3 or 4 mini-quizzes scattered throughout the presentation that allow 3 attempts before moving on. What I would do, is however, before continuing, display or highlight the correct answers. Is it possible to do?
Thank you
Hello and welcome,
Normally this will be done during the review: correct answer indicated (with a check mark) as well as the answers given. But the inquiry cannot be done after the quiz was made using a button on the slide to Score.
It could be done, perhaps a bit difficult for a beginner. Question slides do break (you see the double vertical line in the timeline of the slide) and this break is used twice: playhead rest pause when the user clicks on send and see the legends of your comments, then it must support on Y or click on the slide to leave the playback head. Look at the accordion of actions in the Panel properties Quiz: success and the last attempt are by default set to "continue".
More information: http://blog.lilybiri.com/question-question-slides-in-captivate and http://blog.lilybiri.com/question-question-slides-part-2
If you understand this workflow, you could time a highlight (box or something else), immediately after this point of suspension. As the playhead will continue, this climax appear, but be visible only for the period after the point of putting paused. If this is not enough, you can do the longest slide in questionnaire.
Here I change the duration of the Quiz slide to 5 seconds, which means that the highlight box will be visible to (1. 5-5) = 3.5 seconds before the read head reached the end of the slide and goes to the next slide

Adobe Captivate 4 Quiz (Matching) drop-down list too small font size.
Hello
We use Adobe Captivate 4. Quiz (matching). Exported to SWF format.
The drop-down list the fonts are small. We want to use a larger font in the drop-down list, but couldn't find a way.
Can anyone help?
Thank you

Hello
Formatting of the slides in Question of CP is sometimes a pain. I can't give you a correct answer, but it would be great if you filed a feature request to the team to have more control over the styles used in this drop-down list (the link is on the homepage of this forum). If we are many to demand improvements, fine higher up on the priority list.
As you've probably discovered, in the properties of the corresponding drop down lists Question slide you can change font color, the font size not. My correct solution is to choose a font that gives the best result, certain fonts really look bigger than the others. This is not always compatible with the styles in the rest of the film, but I fit all of the text in Question slides to this font.
Regret not to be able to help. Question slides are in the folder, but in SWC format, and I can not open these files, even if I installed Flash CS4. Maybe a Flash-wise guy will appear automatically in to help you.

How can I assign partial credit so that for each possible answer 6 out of 10 each correct answer gets 10 points each, with a possible total score of 60 points quiz?
To Captivate 7, please go to the Quizzing workspace. You will have the properties and properties Quiz Panel visible. I will now repeat the workflow, I explained briefly for CP7:
- Check the partial score in the Quiz properties and also multiple responses.
- Indicate the correct answers on the stage
- Select the first correct answer on the stage text caption and indicate its score (10pts) in the properties panel, not in the Quiz properties!
- Repeat the same for each correct answer
- Check the total score in the properties of the Quiz Panel: should now be 60pts to the full question.
None of the quiz system variables can be changed, they are read-only. System variables in Captivate 6 - Captivate blog explains the system variables for 6 categories, there are a few changes in 7: new features of Captivate 7.01 - Captivate blog but the Quiz category is always read-only.

Is there a way to make the results of the questionnaire?
For example, to make a 5 question quiz, it will give the person information about each question specifically, they were wrong.
The legends of the success or failure of each slide can be customized to give any information you want to the user. For the MCQ with a correct answer, you can use the advanced response feature that allows you to provide different feedback for each answer choice.
What more do you want? If you want to give this kind of information after all the question slides, you'll need to store each answer in a user variable and create some advanced actions to provide feedback. More work. Look at:

Acrobat Connect Pro (training) does not a generator of quiz/test in there?
I guess the answer is 'No', because I've done research on the web, has asked other Traininers (they have no idea) and found nothing. If it is true that the ability to perform a series of webinars and do not have the ability to create a quiz/test that automatically grades (when the answers are preloaded)? I'm looking around my room AC training, but nothing.
For comparison (just in case I'm wrong), I'm looking at WebEx, Go-for-training and Blackboard Collarborate quiz manager.
Thanks for any confirmation!
You can create survey questions in the Connect room, but they are not classified. However, the responses are tracked and recorded and the person managing the room can go back and review the participant responses at any time.
You can use Adobe Presenter or Adobe Captivate to create a presentation with a quiz in it and then present this quiz in the meeting room. It will also follow the user responses, but will not follow the pass/fail information. Which is followed only by using the Connect Training Module and can be done using the version at the request of the presentation or by pulling in a virtual classroom as a training course.

Small problem with Captivate 6 quiz...
I wonder if someone could help me with this little problem with Captivate 6 quizes?
I've set up a quiz and disable the playback bar to save screen space
I turn off the button 'next' on the issues because it allows to the learner in order to bypass the unanswered questions (and does not trigger the incomplete caption)
And so I rename the button submit to 'next' - and that's fine, but when the quiz is reviewed there is no 'next' button to navigate between issues
I thought that I might be able to hide the real button following behind the submit button (labeled 'next'), but finds that it is not possible to change the stacking order of buttons issue
So, how can I stop the learner without going through questions without answer AND allow navigation during the review of the quiz?
Pointers gratefully received
Simon
Hide the next button (Skip) under the clear button. When you add a quiz for the Clear key is usually on a higher default stacking order. But if it isn't, just remove and replace the button 'Clear' and it will be over the next button. Usually, removal and replacement of the buttons on the quiz questions are the only way to manipulate the stacking order. It's a pain, but this is easily achievable.

cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice for several correct answers
Hi forum,
I got a new question regarding the feedback quiz in Captivate.
In a multiple choice question, there are three good answers; How could I make a tip action for each answer that changes the images? If I got that one correct answer, it works well but with more than one correct answer, I had the wrong 'image - change '.
My idea (see screenshot): If the answer 1, 3 and 5 is correct then show Image_291 and Text_Caption_870. But it does not work - the editor shows the result of "Else" even if the correct answer is marked.
Any ideas? What I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!
Markus
The variable cpQuizInfoAnswerChoice system can store only one value and is filled again after each question.
"Several right answers to a multiple choice Question, by your example it will store ' 1,3,5" since it can store only a single value. Your action will be much easier, right?

Showing the correct answer to the incorrect selection
Hello
I need to create a multiple choice quiz where the user will appear a little explanation for the response, whether or not they get is correct.
For example, if they choose A and the correct answer is A, it will display something like "OK!" Answer A is correct, because... »
If they choose answer B, it will show "Incorrect." This would be the answer because... "and then allowing them to progress in any case to the next question.
All seems to be able to do is to define a 'wrong' message by default for questions, who tells them that it's A response, but not WHY it is answer A. I needs to show the various explanations for each question. Is this possible?
Thanks in advance
Lee
Use the advanced features of response which are available for multiple CHOICE, and you will be able to adapt to each individual response feedback: select the legend of the answer, search properties (not in the Quiz properties) advanced response, turn it on and check the feedback message, you will have one for each answer.

Display of the correct answers
Hey guys,.
I have a few quiz I do in captivate 6 and this I was wondered, is how I could go about setting the quiz so that if the user enters an incorrect answer, we would get not only the standard:
INCORRECT ASNWER - CLICK ANYWHERE TO CONTINUE
But we could get extra information that displays what the correct answer was / is
It would display the message above standard, "Sorry, wrong answer" it currently displays, but also it would Display the "is the correct answer to this question:" and then display the correct answer. We would not reset the question and give them another chance at it, but for the purpose of building end-user, is it possible to stove display the correct answer to an incorrect answer?
What is this kind of advanced possible action?
Thank you very much for any help!
Jon
OK... admission time. Everything does not have the two together on that one. I'm sorry for asking such a stupid question. I am new to the quiz from this angle. It was so obvious that I feel a little dumb. Thanks for the reminder that all you have to do is add text to the Red block.

Reveal the correct answer in the text entry box
Hello
I am a novice Captivate user (Version 5) and I would like to ask for help on the following question:
I need to have a screen with multiple text entry boxes. When entering text in each box and confirm by pressing "enter", learners only need not comments correct and incorrect, but also the correct text in the text entry box. Is this possible?
Thank you very much.
Hello
I searched for an easier solution, if you can live with the fact that the user must follow a certain sequence of complete ETB.
- create as many slides (duplicates) that you need text input boxes + more to show the final result after the last TEB has been filled
- on the first slide, the user fills out the first BER; choose these settings:
- validate user input so that correct legend of success or failure appears
- do not turn on "keep the text.
- Choose "Go to the next slide" as well for success with regard to the action of the failure
- write the properties of the ETB: character (police/size/color), size and position
- on the second slide, you will make the second TEB with the same settings.
- Create a rectangle with the same size and position of the TEB on first slide; do the 1pt STROKE and black and white, the fill value or if you have a white background, you can simply set Alpha to 0%: this rectangle will be to mimic the BER of the first slide
- in this rectangle, you can put the text (double click - No need to caption text): put in the correct answer with the same font as in the ETB properties; given the right answer appear as well to correct regarding the wrong answer, it will be OK
- on the third blade, you do the same to mimic the second TEB and you put the third TEB
Really think it's the best way, no use of variables and advanced actions. The user will see the legend of failure or success, and then to the next slide with the right answer.
