2b09WM HP 2000: HP RAM - VS - Crucial brand

PC3 12800, 1600 MHz DDR3L DIMM Memory module #652972-001 is estimated to be about $125 on HP website, but I can get a stick of RAM about a brand like Crucial 2 GB SODIMM for approximately $ $12, what is the difference of the DDR3L-1600.

Volume. HP sources and sits on them. HP is selling computers portable business and memory of the replacements is actually a drag on their core business. Crucial memory sells its core business. To Crucial, they fly to the door so Crucial can offer them much much cheaper. Just make sure you are comparing apples with apples. Speed, voltage, latency and density should all be the same, or you risk of incompatibility.

  • 2000-2b22DX HP: HP 2000-2b22DX Ram Upgrade

Recently, I encountered some problems with my laptop. I have accumulated a few programs of work (I'm a designer and a musician for hobby) so the tear begins to take a toll.

First of all, I want to know how can I upgrade Ram. I looked in the next page for the specifications of my computer, however, information seems to lack full development for my knowledge with computer hardware.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03562727

It says that I have a '4 GB memory DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM)"memory with slots available to the user '2' and a 'maximum supported = 8 GB" memory. What I don't seem to understand is if it means I can have:

    (2) 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM) - either two 4 GB sticks, for a total of up to 8GB [total] max.

    OR

    (2) 8GB DDR3 SDRAM (1 DIMM) - either two 8 GB sticks, for a total of up to 8GB max [per slot].

If someone could help to clarify with this information, that would be greatly appreciated.

Provided that other improvements go, with the processor, I found another thread that contained the information as I needed.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

This means that you can add a stick more than 4 GB to the second slot to make max 8Gb. Please use the SAME brand and features of the existing key, or please use the following site to scan your machine. It will tell you exactly what you need and where to buy, or you can also use the information to buy elsewhere:

  • HP 2000-bf60CA RAM slots?

I think to upgrade my RAM, but I don't have much knowledge in the field. I want to move to 8 GB (for a low 4GB). I just need a little more of this orange juice, you know?

My question is this; with this model, is there one or two RAM slots? I can take it apart and I know where the RAM locations are / is, I'd rather just do not do it again. In other words, I'd rather just get an answer without having to disassemble my laptop.

    Again, the model is;

    HP 2000-bf60CA

Thanks for reading. Very much appreciated.

    Hello

    It has ONE RAM slot:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03504469

and it does support up to 4 GB max, as shown in the following document #1 page:

Your machine has 4 GB RAM max already.

  • Where can I find the maximum speed and size for a 2000 HP RAM memory

I looked at the stick of 4GB that comes with it and she has this information on it.

    MT16KTF51264HZ - 1G6M

    4 GB 2RXB PC3L-12800-11-11-7 P

I would like to know what exact memory to get and how much can be set which is actually useful.  As it is now, it's quite slow.

Simply duplicate this module you have. At the moment no HP laptop consumer cannot accept any faster than this alias DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 memory.

    Quote of repair:

Supports up to 8192 GB of RAM.

Up to 8 GB is the maximum. An SSD would be on the upgrade of the only possible performance. On AMD models, the CPU is soldered to the motherboard, so you can't upgrade that. With the processor AMD E1, I am skeptical even with 8 GB of RAM and an SSD, you have a usable computer, frankly.

  • Upgrade of RAM 2 GB of Crucial on Qosmio G20

    Hello.

I bought an upgrade of RAM (2 x 1 GB SODIMM) 2 GB for my Crucial G20-108, listed here http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpar...9C324BA5CA7304 but chips won't work in my machine.

The first set, I bought and installed, cannot start Windows and MemTest86 didn't immediately. I tried each piece individually and both together, the BIOS (1.20) recognizes the amount of RAM, but Windows does not start (Gets a few seconds and crashes) and as I said, MemTest86 failed.

RMA I got them and and got a new set, but they are not exactly the same way. The chips are listed as PC2-4200-s-444-12-A0, then DDR2 533 CL4. I noticed that the 512 Mb chip work that I have in my machine is listed as PC2-4200 s-444-10-A0. 12-A0/10 - A0 is important at all? I'm not sure that the 2 sets of RAM from Crucial, which should be compatible with my machine, must both have the same defect, is there a BIOS of RAM setting I missed that I need to address before they will work?

Settings of RAM seem non-existent when I look in the BIOS upgrade to 1.30 will add additional options such as schedules or speed?

    Any advice would be appreciated,

    Steve

    Hello

    You haven t missed anything
After you insert the memory modules, the BIOS should recognize all of the memory and the laptop should boot correctly.

If this is not possible then the RAM modules are faulty or not fully compatible!

    Modules Qosmio G20-108 supports DDR2 533 MHz (PC2-4200) 200 - PIN SODIMM
    Check this box:

[Details of memory for Toshiba Qosmio G20-108 | http://www.orcalogic.co.uk/asp/prodtype.asp?prodtype=14845&ft=m&st=3]

On the page of Toshiba Europe-> Option & accessories you will also find the compatible modules.

My recommendation is: use the new modules recommended by Toshiba

    See you soon

  • HELP brand RAM!

Hello everyone, I recently bought my W540 and I have a curiosity to ask those who know more than me definitely. Is the RAM that I ordered and I went up on the handset.

I ordered the laptop with Lenovo 4 GB RAM + 4 GB memory of SODIMM DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) reference number: 0A 65723

    Instead, I find assembled: Hynix HMT451S6BFR8A-PB s / n 0260C61C GB 4000 + 1600 MHz Samsung M471B5173QH0-YK0 s / n 18144E05 1600 MHz 4 000 GB

Why not have a LENOVO RAM? or IBM? He slipped the dealer? IBM produced the RAM from another brand?

Please help me, I need to understand if the dealer made me a most good RAM...

Lenovo makes RAM; they simply rebrand modules from other manufacturers.

Frankly, as long as the RAM works (run memtest86) it should be fine.

  • Stock RAM brand.

HP releases desktop with the Rams from different brand. For example, Kingston RAMs brand?

HP do not make or produce RAM.  HP Buys lots of RAM of sellers who meet specific standards. I hope that answers your request. See this link and the photos.

  • HP 250 mobile G1 - maximum RAM that can be installed?

    Hi, I recently bought a 250 HP laptop (H6E24EA #ABU) G1: processor: Intel® Core™ i3 - 2348 M 2.3 GHz 3 MB cache • 2 carrots • Mobile Intel® HM75 Express;     Memory: (PREINSTALLED) 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 SDRAM • 2 x SODIMM

Wanted to update the RAM - have read conflicting amounts - 6 GB max HP and sites of the reseller site (maybe they are just copy and paste from HP site?) - BUT 8 GB on other "cranky" sites and also the sites of RAM as Crucial when I search for this EXACT model.

    Q1: which is correct?

Q2: if possible or no one is safe, would it hurt / impair the laptop, if I chose to install the 8GB (even if it can only access 6 GB)? In other words, is it bad/harmful for computer laptop/CPU/etc if I OVERINSTALL ram (8 GB rather 6 GB HP spec)?

Q3: If the RAM chips on the two slots game (eg. need same #GB in each slot; in spec (CL, voltage, etc.); or even the brand of RAM?)

I ask because some of the programs CC Adobe (Indesign, Illustrator, etc.) CAN work on existing ram pre-installed but Adobe recommends that 8 GB. And Yes, I realize that an i5 or i7 cpu would have been better for my needs than an i3 to turn things like photoshop etc, but I really need to keep my purchase within a very limited budget and still Adobe CC minimum specifications. And Yes, I understand that overinstalling RAM can be a loss of a little money, but I was still wondering.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your laptop.

The news of memory support are listed in Chapter 1, page 2.

    http://h20566.www2.HP.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.BINARYPORTLET/public/KB/docDisplay/resource.process/?spf_p.tpst=kbDocDisplay_ws_BI & spf_p.rid_kbDocDisplay = docDisplayResURL & javax.portlet.begCacheTok = com.vignette.cachetoken & spf_p.rst_kbDocDisplay=wsrp-resourceState%3DdocId%253Demr_na-c03763062-1%257CdocLocale%253Den_US & javax.portlet.endCacheTok = com.vignette.cachetoken

It seems to me that they left just on the config 2 x 4096 as the first thing that is written is that 8 GB is taken in charge.

2 memory customer module slots available/upgradable memory

    Supports dual-channel memory

Supports up to 8192 GB of RAM

So I think you see this info anywhere, they are copied to memory of this source configuration specifications.

Too bad they have not just install 1 x 4 GB PC3-12800 memory.

Now, you will need to remove the bars of memory 2 GB and install the memory 2 x 4 GB modules.

  • Satellite C50-B-12Z - to upgrade the RAM up to 8GB

I have Satellite C50-B-12Z, and I want to improve his memory of 8 GB of ram. Crucial memory site says that with my laptop is recommended 8 GB ram 12800, but would be less expensive to put a barrette dimm 4 GB of ram, since my laptop already has 4 GB of ram?

Is it possible to have the problem since the RAM dimm fault its Samsung and I want to install a memory of brand? (all other spec of ram are identical, frequency, voltage, etc.) ?

    Hello

At first some basic on your laptop model info: you are right, it can be upgraded up to 8 GB of RAM. Your laptop has two RAM slots, and according to specification for laptop, there must be a 4 GB so strips you need to do is add the second module of 4 GB.
It is always recommended to use two identical modules.
Original 4 GB of RAM has part number PA5104U-1M4G, so I recommend get you the same.

Problem is that your machine is not supported for upgrading RAM by user and access to the RAM slots is quite complicated. The whole bottom cover needs to be removed and it must be done by the authorized service provider.

If you try to do it yourself you will lose the warranty.
My advice to you is to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and pick up some info on this.

  • [W520]: who is running 32 GB of ram?

Who is 32 GB of RAM running in their W520? Can you please post the brand and model # of the RAM used?

I tried to RAM Kingston, Crucial, Corsair, and own internal Lenovo (Samsung) 8 GB of supported modules in my W520. The W520 has problems starting when "Integrated graphics" is selected (and OS of Optimus detection is disabled). It starts very well in dedicated graphic mode and Optimus. I have the latest version of the BIOS. The problem exists on Windows 7, Windows 8 and every flavor of Linux.

The problem is that as soon as the graphics subsystem is initialized in Windows or Linux, the CPU gets attached to 100% usage, the system is extremely slow and CPU fans operate at full breath. I tested the RAM and the processor in the system of another manufacturer and all is well. I believe that the BIOS has a problem (which would be supported by a lot of people having this problem) or my specific motherboard is defective. I want to see if I'm the only one to have this problem so any help would be appreciated.

This post is a continuation of a problem, I spoke in this thread: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/W-Series-ThinkPad-Laptops/W520-Intel-HD-3000-iGPU-broken/td-p/821371
