Captivate subscription 9 PC/Mac
Hi, I am interested in the option of monthly subscription for Captivate 9. However, I currently have a Windows 10 laptop and plan transport in a MacBook later this year. I'll be able to install my subscription to the new machine that I no longer will be using on the previous laptop?

Cannot install Captivate voices 8 on Mac
I downloaded and installed 8 Captivate on my Mac, but I can't seem to install the voice NeoSpeech add on. I downloaded the .dmg installer I couple of different times, and began to install it, but he gets only to the installation of 2% and then says Installation failed every time. When I look at the summary it is said of the errors:

So as I was saying, I downloaded setup separate 3times and tried again once, but the same thing.
Is there a workaround or a way to get a .dmg installer that works?

When you try to subscribe to a subscription of captivate 7, I get only the option of captivate 8 subscribe to. I don't waant NOT who.

Situation is that we work with captivate 7 and I guess that I can't work on my projects back and forth between Captivate 7 and 8.
So I need to work on 7 Captivate and NOT Captivate 8, it does not work for me!
More about Captivate 7 is within the limits of the version last two.

Captivate v. Captivate subscription purchase
I need to clarify before purchase / subscribe to Captivate.
If my clients (a company that is dept will not allow a subscription) purchase Captivate 7 and I buy the subscription for 7 Captivate. I look at what kind of compatibility issues? Because Captivate seems to be the only Adobe prodcut is not backward compatible (which is dumb) will this cause issues me moving files back?

There is a difference between the upgrade and updates.
7.01 is and updated but Captivate 6 to 7 Captivate would be an upgrade.
There are no compatibility issues if you sign up and your client uses a perpetual license to the same version.

After that I downloaded the program from Adobe "Captivate" Unzipped, no icon came for me to install the program. What I received was for Adobie creative cloud. I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. Where is the installer?

Difficulties to download Captivate trial 6 for mac.
Im trying to download the demo version of captivate on my mac, the akamai netsession interface is now on my desk, I go through the Setup, it does this happy noise and indicates that the installation was successful, but nothing to really happens, no new records or documents or applications, appears as a sort of dead-end.
To study, I have clickedon that akamai in 'other' my system preferences is tells me that the status is "forbidden", but I am the administrator and I've never used this before free trial version, then why am I "banned?

Please use the below mentioned instructions to download and install 6 Captivate for MAC:
- You must click on the URL below http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?loc=en_us&product=captivate
- Then login with your Adobe ID and password (if necessary).
- Then copy and paste the below mentioned URL in the same window, as shown below:
http://trials3.Adobe.com/AdobeProducts/CPTV/6/OSX10/Captivate_6_LS12.dmg
- Then press enter on the keyboard and save the file mentioned above, one by one in the folder created on the desktop.
- Then click on the DMG file to extract and install 6 Captivate.
- Once the file is extracted and install Adobe Captivate 6

Transfer a subscription Windows for Mac
I have a monthly subscription for CS6 for windows. Now I recently bought a Mac Book Pro, and I would like to transfer this subscription. How can I do this?
Subscriptions should allow you to install on a Mac or Win. Check your email conformation of command for details of platform. If you have Win/Mac in your order, follow these steps:
1 disable the software on the computer that you want to not use (help > deactivate).
2. download/install the software on the new computer. Sign in using your Adobe ID (if it shows you a screen to input serial number, click on the link "license this software ' at the bottom of the Ecranun nd, then follow the instructions on the screen.)

I need to do some tutorials of Mac products such as the suite iWork and iLife. These cannot run on windows and captivate does not work on Mac. Anyone know of any program type Captivate for Mac?

Clearly stated, there is no support this level of text controls within Captivate for any platform.
Text will be issued in the form of a graph to the publication, but other forum posters are complained that it is converted to a web font that secure before that happens.
The scenery building a Photoshop image layers with smart objects, will probably be your best approach to achieve this level of control. You will need to carefully manage the resolution if you have bandwidth for the publication restrictions.

Captivate 6.1 on Mac audio spontaneously returned to an earlier version of the course
It's the strangest thing I've ever seen as a developer. I developed a course earlier this year that sat untouched for several months. I have recently found some hyperlinks in the course had changed and went to update. After that audio had restored the previous version, which is false. I need to re - register all the voices on.
I had experienced many fatal mistakes Captivate and so I renamed the project cached folder. After that the audio came back to a previous version, I renamed the folder the original name, relaunched Captivate, and the problem persisted. I've never touched the audio tracks at all. I don't know why or how it could have happened.
This bit of information about the cache of project editing makes me theorize that somehow a cached version earlier obtained course mixed when you opened the project to make the changes.
If you were having a lot of problems with errors, perhaps your cache folder had grown too large and had to be cleaned rather than having its name changed. If the record could not accept several cache files due to a limit size imposed, which may have contributed to the error where an earlier version of cache was used.

Captivate subscription - download & installation failed. Win7 x 64
I bought the subscription for one of my users out of a trial. Initially, kept download stop with 'error' Manager and a window empty. The alternative download seems to work, but then ran into errors during the installation. Review of the .7z file indicates data corruption. Is there an error with the source file?
Tried one more time, seemed to be getting a download right this time...

Captivate 7 transferable subscription between OS?
Hello. I currently use 7 Captivate on my computer windows via the subscription type. I'm about to get a much more powerful machine, this time a Mac. I'd be all-too-happy to remove the Windows version, Mac version. Can I transfer my monthly subscription to the Mac version?
You must sign out in the Help menu on the existing registration and then uninstall it from this machine.
After uninstalling, you can reinstall it on the new machine.
