  first of all, rename folder OOBE OOBE.old.

  to find the OOBE:

  Win 64 bit OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

  Win 32 bit OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

  Mac os: HD > library > application support of > adobe > caps

  Mac os: USER > library > application support of > adobe > OOB

  If it fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.

  If you use an installation dvd:

  Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.

  If you are using a mac:

  1. try to create a new user account in Mac with administrator privileges.

  2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the

  3. navigate to the user library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

  4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

  5 restart the installation.

  If everything is applicable above fails, check your Setup logs:

• Cannot install Captivate 4 NeoSpeech

  I built a new Windows 7 64-bit workstation for our employees.  I disabled the Captivate 4 on its old 32-bit Windows XP workstation and it enabled on its new Windows 7 desktop.  It seems to work very well, but when I downloaded Captivate4_NeoSpeech and try to run a progress bar displays for about 5 seconds and disappears and nothing else happens.  I can see the executable running in the Task Manager, and then it goes right now.

  I put the executable file to run as administrator and we tried the compatibility settings for several levels of operating system such as Windows XP Service Pack 3.  Does anyone have recommendations?

  If the memories are good, there are two steps to this process. The first step was to run an executable file. But this executable has really was to extract an executable SECOND which has been setup. Then, you had to run the executable a second to install the voice. After that you need to restart the Captivate.

• Cannot install Photoshop CS5.1 new Mac

  Dear all,

  I just started using a new Mac Pro.  My old Mac Pro had installed Photoshop CS5.1.  I want to install it on the new Mac, but difficulties as follows:

  I normally expect to download the installer and drag it directly into the Applications folder.  But instead, when I clicked on the disk image, a set of files came.  One was marked "install".  When I double-clicked who, a dialog box told me that the file was damaged and should I eject the disk image.

  Could someone help?  I have the serial number ready - it was of course a legitimate purchase directly from Adobe - but I can't get there!

  After installing running and the printer connected to the wifi I can't 'Add' the printer to my printerlist. Tried with wifi switch, with the pack, the new HP download CD. Nothing works, I always get the following message is displayed:

  I'd love to help you add the printer to your Mac.

  Please try first leaving the printer, unplug the power cable and also stop the Mac. Please do not restart the mac, I would like you to choose "Shut Down". After a minute you can plug the power back in and restart the Mac.

  You can now go ahead and try to add the printer again. I think that this will solve the error message and allow the update to get.

  If this does not resolve the problem, try the following steps.

  Reset the printing system

  1. Click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.

  I get about 55% in the installation process and Installation failed is displayed.  Have closed all browsers, a scanner on the Mac for viruses, uninstalled previous versions of Flash, always without success.  Any ideas?

  I created a virtual instance of a Mac (Mountain Lion) on my Windows 7 system.

  I click the button on the drive, select manage and then install VMware Tools. I get an error: component not found on the update server. Contact VMware Support or your system administrator.

  Because MAC OS on an Apple brand hardware not violates Apple EULA, this is not supported by VMware Player, which is the reason why there are not VMware Tools available for it.

  I have a laptop Windows 7, I try to install 7 Captivate on.  It has been previously installed on a different laptop.  I have reinstalled on the original laptop and it turned off.  Whenever I try to install it on the new laptop, I get the error message "serial number you provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer."  So I select the product calling, Captivate 6 and already installed on the laptop (already disabled on the former) and I get this: "this serial number is not for a product calling." Pleast try another. »

  I just installed 6 Captivate on the laptop, using the exact serial number, I put in the check as a "product"qualifying companies"."  What more, I had zero issue reinstalling Captivate 7 on the old laptop to turn it off.  What is going on?

• Cannot install CS6 master collection for mac pro book (end of 2011)

  Recently, I downloaded Adobe creative suite master collection for Mac CS6.

  However, I'm unable to install it. After you open the installer that does nothing, it does not further. I have tried to copy the contents of MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg to another folder, and then open the install.app, still no progress.

  Will you please advice because I really need to install this.

  The situation is like this, I downloaded the image on my desktop pc (which is Windows) and then compress & split the image using a winrar. I then transferred the files to my mac pro book and extract the image here. Unfortunately, there was a bug in the software unarchiver that I used on mac to extract the image.

  This bug has been fixed in a release distributed by the dev today.

  Now I can install CS6 without any problem. Thanks for the replies once more.

  Currently, I don't have another computer I can try to load it. My computer is very recent and the CD/DVD drive works. I read the readme.pdf. It says nothing about the uninstall of the previous version. I don't want to do that if I'm not, not until I know why this install does not work.

  RESOLUTION:
  For anyone having this problem, here is the solution.

  Download the trial version. If it downloads OK, your drive is bad.
  At some point during the download, you are prompted to enter the new serial number.
  It enter, and you're ready to go.

  Note: To get this answer I got to talk to 5 people... (5 transfers and "holds"). The process took more than an hour.

• Cannot install drivers for C6380 on Mac G4 OS 10.4.1

  I put the installation CD.  I find my printer and then try to install the software and drivers.  When I click on the 'Install' button, nothing happens.  I click on it repeatedly, and the program goes.  This happens again and again.  I tried to copy the installer on my computer and it works; same thing is happening.  I tried to download the drivers from the HP site, and the same thing happens.  I am ready to return this thing.  I tried emailing technical support, but the form is broken. I tried two Technical Support calls.  Has been disconnected, then was suspended for 30 minutes.  I had to hang up.  In addition, the "cat" with technical support does not work.  I'm frustrated.

  I would be shocked if someone could tell me how to solve this problem, but in the interest of science...

  Bottom line: if I were you, I return the printer and buy another brand.

  I had several problems with the initial set-up of my C6280, similar chance your pass to technical support; When I finally spoke to someone, it took one hour and 46 minutes on the phone to set up my set-up.  The drive included did not work, online links were obsolete or broken.  I asked the tech how I may have set up my out-of-the-box printer; She told me that it would not have been possible because the news online was out of date.  After that my camera crashed and took out the printer drivers, it is never parsed since.  My printer is now two weeks out of warranty, so there is no phone support.

  The thing drinks ink - no way my printer gets the cartridge/pages that are advertised.  For example, for several months I used only gray for printing text on plain paper.  On the average quality, I used part of a third black ink cartridges and print 2 unless a ream of paper - announced is 480-660 pages/cartridge.  In ADDITION, I have to replace colour cartridges.  Finally, I get an error message which requires me to replace colors "empty." I can print a few pages B & W, but then the printer does not at all until I have replace the color 'empty '.  Nobody was ever able to answer my question of why the printer uses color inks to print in black when there is also a black cartridge.  Oh and ink runs even moisture - it should not be wet.
