    Hello

    Please can someone tell me how to capture still images from the video sequence in PP2 in a format that can be used in Photoshop? They must be especially high resolution. I use them as a basis for the DVD images when I didn't get pictures.

    I use other methods for it and hit a problem with that. I could be wrong, but seem to remember to do in the past with PP1.5 via the capture window! Like I said it could be my memory playing tricks with this one.

    Thank you for reading this and I would appreciate any help

    I want create snapshots of a DVD and save in JPG format or another file format.  I tried the command + shift + 3 and a utility called SnapNDrag.  I get a gray screen, if the DVD is paused or read.  I guess this is a sort of copyright protection.  I'm not ripped off the someone work, this is a DVD made by a friend of home movies.

    If I can't do this with the DVD player, can I somehow extract the contents into a movie file?  I think I might then use iMovie to capture still images, no?

    Need to rip the DVD to get the video files. Handbrake is a popular application to do this. It of a free download and works for unprotected DVDs.

  • Still valid to use FileJournalListener to capture the image of the camera in 6.0?

    I'm having a problem with a screenshot of the app native camera on JDE 6.0 and the 9800 Simulator.  I use the old 'good practices' referring to the native camera app and save a FileSystemJournalListener:

    {Synchronized (UiApplication.getEventLock ())}
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .addFileSystemJournalListener (this);
    Invoke.invokeApplication (Invoke.APP_TYPE_CAMERA, new CameraArguments());
    }

    When I get a FileSystemJournalEntry.FILE_ADDED, I get the file and encode it.

    Public Sub fileJournalChanged()
    {
    next sequence number file system will use
    Long USN = FileSystemJournal.getNextUSN ();

    for (long I = USN - 1; i > = lastUSN & I)< usn;="">
    {
    Entry FileSystemJournalEntry = FileSystemJournal.getEntry (i);
    If (input == null)
    {
    break;
    }

    If (entry.getEvent () is FileSystemJournalEntry.FILE_ADDED)
    {
    Path String = entry.getPath ();
    If (path! = null & path.indexOf ('.jpg')! = - 1).
    {
    We found a new JPEG image, treat it
    String result = processImage ("file://" + path);

    clean
    closeCamera();

    break;
    }
    }
    }

    do not forget the change log file number,
    If we do not find the same events over and over again
    lastUSN = USN;
    }

    The problem is that the Torch 9800 Simulator choke on it.  "I get randomly ' JVM error 104: Eception: OutOfMemoryError.  I say randomly because sometimes after taking pictures of 3-5 successfully, and sometimes it pours on the first attempt to photograph.  I've cleaned many times Simulator.

    The same code works perfectly in 5.0 simulators (9550, 9530).  I can take pictures until I'm blue in the face without an exception OutOfMemoryError.

    I saw this method of capture an image (using the MMAPI implementation)...

    Take a photo in an application device of BlackBerry - Multimedia - Development Guide - BlackBerry Java...

    .. .but I want the user to be able to have the user of the native camera of experience.  Therefore, listen to JPG file was added.  Is it still valid in 6.0?  It is, of course, to some extent, or my photo app would not work.  Is there something with log being numbered differently?

    The FileSystemJournalListener is not the problem.

    The exception OutOfMemoryError seems to be related sending images of native Java coding to JavaScript.

    Only one problem in 6.0.

  • Get still images from video

    I saved videos from my mobile to my computor. How can I create still frames from video to print photos?

    Hi Angus C.Duprey,

    Welcome to the Microsoft answers site!

    You can use the cutting tool for this task. To do this, follow the steps mentioned below:

    Play the video, pause the video (to capture the image you want), then open "tool captures.

    Open the capture tool by clicking Start, all programs, accessories, and then click Snipping Tool. Click, drag and save.

    See the link for more information:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/use-Snipping-Tool-to-capture-screen-shots

    You can also play the video when you want to capture the image, press the print screen key (on the keyboard) and then to open a program, such as photo touch-up paintand paste and save it.

    Hope this information is helpful

  • Capture an image from a machine under windows 2000 server during production

    Hello

    We are looking to capture an image of a server windows 2000 (with sp4) has sql 2005 standard installed on it.  I've done a few machines and windows 2003 during production, while I used the converter and no problems.  Does anyone have experience with windows 2000?  I know that on windows 2000, a reboot is required.

    We bring the image into a villas of test to test the upgrade of the operating system to windows 2003.  Once satisfied, redo us the same process and will have ESXi host computer.

    BTW, the converter is version 3.03.

    I ran a test and see no problem but I just want to know that.

    I have captured many images of a windows 2003 while the services windows, sql server, etc. will work perfectly during the process.

    Yes, the services are still running.  However, it is normally recommended that you disable the services as much as possible.   If you have a lot of traffic to the server, the conversion may fail half way through.  And of course, all the changes bring users to data cannot be included in the image/converted data.  If the conversion is for dev/test, then it may be acceptable.

    When I did my hot clones, it was generally after hours so that I can disable the SQL and other services.  I've done a few hot clones with services running, but there is no user logged in, so very little traffic to the title of the conversion machine.

  • HP DM 4.5 SP2 cannot capture an image of WES2009 of T5740

    We use Altiris and have problems with PXE. To deploy images that we intend to migrate to HP Device Manager 4.5 SP2. Installed on a Windows 2008 R2 and FileZilla Server. EVERYHING works fine, but when I capture an image from a thin client WES2009 T5740 custom image will not capture. The thin client EBOOT 2 times and installs some files on the workstation. After the installation of the files, the thin client is reset each time in Windows. You see a HP backupground. A windows Device Manager is popping up and restarts the workstation. No idea why it does not work. If I capture an image Windows XPe to a T5730 capture with FTP works fine. With T5740 WES2009 won't yet make the FTP connection. I tried an old image of WES2009 and the last image of WES2009. It does not work.

    Today I installed the Device Manager in the production environment. The mentioned in the above 2 posts is a facility in the environment of the OTA. In production it works. Image captured from the Device Manager is saved with the option of shared folders.

  • HDR-AS15 future updates for still images

    I had a question about the possible updates of the firmware for the HDR-AS15. As I understand the AS15 has the 11.9MP same sensor as the HDR-AS30. However, the still images on the AS15 are limited to 2MP. Is this something that can be changed in an update of the firmware? To allow the AS15 take pictures even at 11.9MP as does the AS30? As both cameras have the same sensors, this should be plausible.

    I love my AS15 but I would like to take higher resolution pictures and take full advantage of the sensor of the camera.

    Thank you!

    At present, an update that increases the resolution of the fixed image of the AS15 is not available. We appreciate your comments, and we will transfer to our team of engineers to review.

  • Why deletion of images of iPhone 4, iOS 7.1.2 with Capture of Image does not work?

    Using the key delete does not work and selecting 'Remove' in the edition menu is grayed out.

    Hi Varoop13,

    Thank you for using communities Support from Apple! I'm sorry to hear that you're having these problems with your iPhone and Capture of Image. I'm a little unclear on exactly which version of Mac OS X you are using or what you see in the Image Capture, but you may want to look for a button with a circle-slash () icon; It's recent releases how Capture of image mark the delete key. It will be active when one or more images have been selected. It is also a behavior whereas the keyboard delete key will not remove the images selected, and that the delete option under the Edit menu stay grayed out. You can see some of these options, it is stated in the following article:

    Use the buttons at the bottom of the window to Capture of Image to display thumbnails in a list () or to display larger thumbnails (), or to rotate () or delete () images.

    Yes, the shared folder is mainly used for WES units.
    Can you see something in the ftp log which leads to an error?
    With FileZilla FTP Server, you can see in real time what is happening.
    With IIS, etc., you will need to check the logs.

  • How to add a video option to capture the image

    Use a CCD camera to capture the image. I need to add the ability to capture the video image (live) so that I can focus and adjust the image and then capture it for treatment. Y at - it an option. I searched the SDK as well as the camera but did not.

    I guess you want to adjust the focus see streaming in labview (correct me if otherwise). You can easily do this by using a 'acquire' inside a while loop. Use a capture button to exit the while loop and process/save the captured image.

    Real jsr135 support has been added in 4.6 I think.

    Before that, you need to start the native camera app and use it for taking pictures.
