Carn t new installation windows 7 Edition family premium 64 bit on acer aspire m3201

Hello

Im having some difficulties to do a clean install of windows 7 64 bit on my acer aspire desktop... I've tried about everything I could think of... to my dvd player would not read the dvd so I plugged in another dvd drive in and copied the files on my hard drive then burned the files to a dvd disk that was not read DVDs and that solved that problem, so I rebooted my pc and it just loaded up vista , so I rebooted again, but went into the bios and changed the MBR on the recorded dvd disc selection and you leave, there are some boots in vista... I do not understand why it does that... so I then upgrade vista 32-bit to windows 7 32 bit and tried all over again... still no luck...

any ideas?

I fixed it by a method very few Orthodox... I changed my preference to start on my dvd drive and disabled the hard drive... rebooted, then as he was starting I quickly hit the keys on the keyboard shatter the boot and got to the screen where it says not start in safe mode, last good know Setup, start windows normally and so on... I decided to select start windows normally and it came with the do you want to install windows screen... installed and everything is good, im now running windows 7 home premium 64-bit

You can of course.  There are a ton of online guides, but Ars Technica (new large tech shooting) has a great guide here: http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/07/how-to-do-a-clean-install-of-windows-10-from-windows-7-and-8/

Another thing, just as a lark and see if the hard drive or the BIOS had problems I loaded Win7 temporarily, of a pure install and it worked fine.  I loaded a new installation of XP Pro on it and then tried the Vistga upgrade.  Anyone have any ideas?

  • Installation of Vista Edition Family Premium disk reformatted.

I want to reformat my hard drive and do a clean install. I have Vista Home Premium OEM (bought from Newegg for this PC, I built). I have to install original OEM disk, then go to SP1 and then install SP2? I already downloaded the standalones for SP1 and SP2 from Microsoft.

I would have liked to go to Win 7, but finances are extremely limited at the moment. If a new installation will (or should) fix my problems with uninstall AVG 2011. He fubarred my system really bad.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

Vista requires Sp1 before installing SP2.  Otherwise, there are some problems that appear in the system.  Do things in order as you list above and everything will be fine.  Enjoy.

  • Windows Vista Edition home premium 64-bit: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit upgrade: on site or install Clean?

    Hello

In order to know which version of Windows 7 upgrade purchase, using the top prizes starting tomorrow, I would like to know if I can use a facility in place or will require a clean install (when updates are sent in October?).

I upgrade from Vista Home Premium 64-bit for Windows 7 Professional 64-bit (to use the XP compatibility feature).

But the installation in place, I think, is an easier process, especially if some 3rd party software, which does not transfer through a software transfer and cables, should proceed to deactivation, reactivation and or new material for release of the keys, etc. for a clean install.

The Beta Upgrade Wizard for Windows 7 that I ran on my computer Vista Home Premium 64 upgrade to Windows 7 Professional provides a clean install, not in place. But I wonder if this may be a piece of information in the Beta Wizard. Reading online today mentions that the upgrade to a higher level version (such as Vista Home Premium 64 for Windows 7 64 Profession) can be done on site.

All links to information Microsoft 'official' on this topic would be appreciated.

    Kind regards

Contact the person who sold it to your and get a replacement or Exchange CD-ROM.

There is no place on the way to upgrade 32-bit versions of Windows to Windows 7 64 bit. You will need to do a custom installation.

Using the disk of 64-bit Windows 7, install Windows 7 Windows Easy Transfer Utility from the DVD (to find it, simply navigate to x:\support\migwiz, "x:" is the name of your hard drive. (In this case, you will see a collection of files, the important"that you must search for and double-click is 'migsetup'.) run it and create a DAMP (Windows Easy Transfer file), if you have an external hard drive, you can access it later when you perform a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit disk so you can stored there.

Once you have done this, just do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit disc. In Windows 7 64 bit disk, start Windows Easy Transfer, follow the wizard screen, tap on which is stored the WET file (external hard drive) and it will restore your personal files and settings. Reinstall the necessary

Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

  • Windows 7 Edition Family Premium X 64 - not a game platform - garbage

I recently updated my PC for Windows 7 Home Premium X 64 Win XP (SP3) X 32.  I had to install Windows 7 three times before it actually worked.  I tried to install all my games... Well well... the key word there is TEMPTATION.  I received a message on each of them saying they were incompatible without worrying about what compatibility mode, I ran the.  I ran all the updates that would be auto install... then who would not install because of the failed installation.  So I installed them manually.  I tried to use the MS support site and basically the conclusion I reached after reading most all validations.  Create a virtual PC running WinXP and then enjoy your games like you used to.  What is the purpose of the upgrade gawrbitz if I have to run Windows XP on a virtual PC.  I'm the only one who finds who is crazy?

I've never had a problem using Win XP, but felt as if I wanted to use all the memory that my PC had to offer.  It was my mistake.  I am sure that this message will be considered a flame and deleted by moderators very quickly.  I'm happy to send back my Win 7 into small pieces so I could have my Win XP back.  But alas, the CD was lost in a move, so I can't yet roll back.

System Specs: 2.30 GHz AMD Phenom Quad Core, 4Gigs Ram, 1 TB Sata HD, NVidia GeForce 9500GT

I knew the Adviser and he ran long before I even considered buying.  After execution of this I learned that my system is compatible on all levels.  After talking with many high level technicians in various companies today, they said that my problem is not a problem of Windows 7, as it is a matter of 64-bit.  My brother has many contacts at Microsoft, and I asked him to make some phone calls.  They recommended a drop down to the 32-bit Windows 7 and that should fix 90% of my problems.  Some problems with older games that were published at the time of Win95 will be variable result regarding if they will work or not.

As has been explained to me now is that the 64-bit environment was never designed for games with games of today.  It was designed for enterprise software and works well in this environment.  Game software has not progressed to the point where 64-bit is necessary, but can happen soon.

I know that my previous post was a bit hard and poisonous.  Thank you Jetta not whipping too.  I was just frustrated, responses and he had some predictable answers in sight.
