The use of the secure areas of BC is not present natively in good Muse. If it is a free site of the BC creative cloud webBasics, it can be upgraded to a higher plane, as stated here - http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-3161.

  In addition, the tab of the Site to the BC admin manager would display all options for a site published by Muse. You can however, content editing capability online by logging into the administrator of the site-> going to the section my details (hovering over your name at the top right) and select the option as shown in the screenshot below.

  

  Please see the post below for a reason which is why the option is incompatible with the Muse (but does affect all of the features as such if you enable it).

  Hi Sarah,.

  I checked out the site under your account. It seems that you are a user of creative cloud and you published the site using applications Adobe Muse.

  Online content editing is disabled by default for sites published through Muse to BC and so the Pages tab appears for you under the Site Manager.

  However, you can always turn on the change content online by logging into the site administrator-> to go to the section my details (hovering over your name at the top right) and select the option as shown in the screenshot below.

  To answer your second question, why Modules are not available in your site it's because the site is in plan of webBasics which does not contain the events and news modules. 5 free BC sites you receive with subscription Creative Cloud are webBasics.   However, you can still connect to your portal partner here - http://www.businesscatalyst.com/Admin/Index.aspx?to=PartnerPortal and create as many test sites with a plan higher than you can choose later upgrade to a paid version.

  I've tested this on my end but unable to reproduce the problem. The above module gives me the desired result. Here's a test page, I setup for you with the results.

  As you can see in the last example on the above page, I've set up to use {module_blogpostlist,--template = "/ customblogtemplate.tpl 1.2"} which makes exactly two latest blog posts on all blogs on my site. Change the value of the last 2 to 5 renders 5 blog posts.

  If it still does not for you, I can suggest is to check if you do not have some HTML between the module code that occurs generally if you change the code of the module in Design view, leading to a rupture in the features or the expected behaviours.

  To save other hours in research to do this, if you want to know how to set the Expiration Date of a custom HTML Web App point presentation shape, you can do something like this:

  You cannot set the date directly, but you can tell how many days from today, you want it to expire...

• I want to publish my muse site using catalyst for the company, but don't want to use a long name, how to use the catalyst for business with my domain name registered?

  I am a novice in computers, but also Web design, so I signed up for creative Cloud for our Web site design churches.  I really love Muse for design, but it is frustrating that there is so little opportunity to get questions answered quickly.  I even subscribe to TrainSimple.  It's a good overview, but little support for issues.  I know that creative cloud is huge and likely most people use other programs and more, but anyone know where I can go to get direct responses? I looked at all the training videos and read most of the available information.

  I would like to publish the sitre using Business Catalyst but do not want to use such a long name.  How can I use Business Catalyst with the area, we already have?

  I have problems with the design of the tab.  When I saw there is a large grey vertical shade along the right side of the image. I think it must have something to do with the size of the property of the original page, but I'm following what is suggested.

  Also, the version of Tab comes up on my tab when I test it - it shows the version of office that does not fit.

  Important

  Check that there is no cleanup operation pending on recovery plans and there is no problem of configuration for the virtual machines that protects the Site Recovery Manager.

  1 all the recovery plans are in ready state.

  2 the protection status of all protection groups is OK.

  3 the status of the protection of all the individual virtual machines in the protection groups is OK.

  4 the recovery of all groups of protection status is ready.

  5. If you have configured the advanced settings in the existing installation, note settings you configured before the upgrade.

  6 the vCenter local and remote server instances must be running when you upgrade the Site Recovery Manager.

  7 upgrade all components Server vCenter Site Recovery Manager on a site until you upgrade vCenter Server and Site Recovery Manager on the other site.

  8 download the setup of Site Recovery Manager file in a folder on the machines to be upgraded the Site Recovery Manager.

  9 make sure no other facilities-\no updates windows restarts done shoud

  Procedure:

  1. connect to the machine on the protected site on which you have installed the Site Recovery Manager.

  2. backup the database of Site Recovery Manager by using the tools that offers the database software.

  3. (optional) If you upgrade of Site Recovery Manager 5.0.x, create a 64-bit DSN.

  4 upgrade the instance of vCenter Site Recovery Manager server that connects to vCenter Server 5.5.

  If you upgrade a vCenter Server and Site Recovery Manager 4.1.x, you upgrade the instances of vCenter Server and Site Recovery Manager server in the correct sequence until you can upgrade to Site Recovery Manager 5.5.

  a upgrade vCenter Server 4.1.x to 5.0.x server.

  b Update Site Recovery Manager of 4.1.x to 5.0.x.

  c upgrade server vCenter Server 5.0.x to 5.5.
