  Acrobat 7 is not compatible with Windows 7, so it's difficult to judge how the application on an incompatible environment will behave.

  Please attach a screenshot so that we can diagnose the problem correctly.

• Can I get the Firefox search bar for not automatically, go to the site of the search engine I spend?

  The Firefox search bar seems to have changed since the last update. I understand that things are changing constantly and get used to them, but I wonder if it is possible to change the rear bar to the way it was, or at least understand why it changed.

  Basically, I used to be able to switch from search engines by choosing from the drop-down list, and would not put me right at the site of this search engine. He didn't actually bring me to the site once I hit the search button (or enter). It's quite annoying to have to remember to open a new tab before changing search engines in order to avoid sailing away from the tab that you are currently on, and it's also annoying that when you open a new tab and change the search engines, you are immediately taken to the site of this search engine. It feels like an extra step (ranging from 'the empty tab search engine page to search result' instead of 'empty tab to search result').

  I know it sounds like a minor complaint, no doubt, but I'm really really curious to know why it was changed. More important, I want to know if there is a way to customize the way it was.

  Many users have been raising this issue. I mentioned the same question in this post here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1086138

  In summary, it seems that the Firefox team is not intend to bring back the ability to return to the old bar search, which was possible (but in a very biased way) in older versions of 42. For now, you can either:

  • Download module additional classic restaurateur theme to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/?src=ss and then select the old search option
  • Go back to Firefox 42 and set the browser.search.showOneOffButtons property in Subject: config. However, with older versions poses a risk to the security that you won't have bug fixes provided with version 43

  Can you not get a PDF file to open it in a window to ask for help? You would do that by changing the setting in the preferences/Options > Applications.

• Download the text file of the site domain

  I need to download a text file to a directory of a domain site.  Text file is saved  What to do next?

  On your PC, right-click on the text file, and then click on copy.

  Connect to the domain (if you don't know how, you will need to get instructions from the domain administrator on how to configure your PC to connect to the domain - specific settings that are required there and they differ by area - and you may need to be configured on the domain and given rights).  Once the installation program I would map a drive to the field to make easier access next time.  Navigate the site of field to the directory where you want the file to exist.  Right-click on the directory and click on paste.

  The file will now have been copied in the domain site directory (assuming you have the appropriate permissions on the domain server to add files in this directory - you will need to talk to the domain so that administrator it it gives you an "access denied" or "you do not have sufficient to perform this task" or a similar error message).

  That's all there is to it.

  Original title: How can I search for a file by name only. For example, to prevent the display of other files that contain the same text.  This was easy to do under XP.

  For example, I need to find FILES named xyz*.mdl.  I need to filter all files that CONTAIN "xyz*.mdl" but are note NAMED "xyz*.mdl".

  This was easy in XP, but not in "7".

  You can use the syntax:

  filename:xyz * .mdl

  Note that file:xyz*.mdl is equivalent to filename:xyz * .mdl, but an additional symbol ~ is necessary with the equivalent of the so-called name: ~ xyz * .mdl to properly manage the wildcard character.  (file name, file and the name are supposed to be the same)

  I checked out the site under your account. It seems that you are a user of creative cloud and you published the site using applications Adobe Muse.

  Online content editing is disabled by default for sites published through Muse to BC and so the Pages tab appears for you under the Site Manager.

  However, you can always turn on the change content online by logging into the site administrator-> to go to the section my details (hovering over your name at the top right) and select the option as shown in the screenshot below.

• How re - enable the display of the history of uploading files in the Download Manager window?

  System: Windows XP

  I am trying to reactivate the display, or to remember the list of downloaded files in the Download Manager window. I want to be able to drag and drop directly from this window into a folder of my choice. (I used to be able to do this, but apparently I missed that...)

  I tried the suggestions that could easily be found, including Firefox to remember the whole story in the privacy of the upgrade Options tab in.

  I have also deleted the mimeTypes.rdf file to 'reset' the values default to the browser, but in vain.

  Well, it's fixed.

  The problem seems to be a plugin obsolete, probably the previous version of the Adobe Reader software.

  Tools > Add-ons, Plug-ins page.

  All is well now.

• Unable to save the file in the site after upgrade

  Just upgraded to the new version of Muse.

  Open my site, tried to "save under" with a name change. Could not. Also not able to "Save".

  Have tried several times. Have now a few versions "recovered."

  When backups fail, I get:

  3128: Save as failed.

  error = SQLError: ' error #3128: disk i/o error has occurred. ", details:", "

  [operation: "compact"]

  Same message if I just tried a "Save". Also, the error is sometimes 3125, not 3128.

  Never had this problem before. Have to do some work on the site. Is it possible to revert to the previous version of the Muse?

• For help. MXF outside the P2 folder structure?

  For a big project that will involve to ingest about 500 to a Panasonic Varicam P2 cards, I'm trying to work on a workflow where I can get out of the folder structure of the P2 card for improved flexibility to store huge amounts of clips for easier (re) to link to files proxy or source material.

  I did experiments with just copy the. MXF files from the AVCLIP folder to another location: a folder named "SOURCE" on another disk. First always load and bed these clips without complaining and I keep my 4 audio channels. If I transcode these. To ProRes proxy MXF files and store them in a folder named "PROXY", I can easily (re) link to the source material or proxy servers. Which is exactly what I want. I don't think that I have an important use for metadata of origin in the XML files that are separated in the CLIP folder or the thumbnail files in the folder of the ICON on the P2 card. The other files are empty anyway.

  It seems to work very well, so what am I missing (potentially)? Is there a reason why this would be a bad idea?

  I would keep the in the P2 folder structure.

  If break out you the MXFs, you will lose connection files between clips that are more than 4 GB in size as well as the files that span different p2 cards but aussient lose clip metadata.

  You will travel to a world of pain.

  Don't worry about using a proxy workflow, just buy more hard drives. They are pretty cheap.
