Causes of DW & quot; the implementation of cache & quot; CFMX server

not sure if this is the right forum, but this seems beyond the General topics.

strangest thing, it seems to work properly, then after a while the changes are not apparent on the server when you view files in a browser. If I look at the server and display it in a text editor, I can see the changes, but does not appear in a browser. It comes to cfmx 6.1, and there is no problem. It seems to be with DW 8.

Finally, I assumed it was DW after hours of play with everything and came to the conclusion after trying the same site with other remote servers.

I reinstalled and same thing, all the other sites worked, however.

then I uninstalled and deleted all entries in registry and now the same thing is happening on all sites.

as a terrible solution, I put the remote path than the local path and I can edit the files directly on the server and everything's fine, only when I use DW as the FTP client that there is a problem.

and just for fun, I used DW to edit files and then manually copied to the server and all changes are fine.

This seems to be an FTP problem.

anyone has any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you very much.

I solved it through many experiences. If you disable the file synchronization option in the options for distance, the problem stops.

I think it's a bug, because it's happened before.

to correct my below email, I did not use FTP, but the local/network with a \\path. When you use FTP, it worked fine.

Thank you.

    Hello

    Our environment is Essbase 11.1.2.2 and work on Essbase EAS and components of Shared Services. One of our user tried to execute the Script of Cal of a single application and in the face of this error.

    Dynamics Processor Calc does not reach more than [100] ESM blocks during the calculation, please increase the CalcLockBlock setting, and then try again (a small data cache setting can also cause this problem, check the size of data cache setting).

    I did a few Google and found that we need to add something in the Essbase.cfg file as below.

    Dynamics Processor Calc 1012704 fails to more blocks ESM number for the calculation, please increase the CalcLockBlock setting, and then try again (a small data cache setting can also cause this problem, check the size of data cache setting).

    Possible problems

    Analytical services cannot lock enough blocks to perform the calculation.

    Possible solutions

    Increase the number of blocks of analytical Services can allocate to a calculation:

    1. Set the maximum number of blocks of analytical Services can allocate at least 500.
      1. If you are not a $ARBORPATH/bin/essbase.cfg on the file server computer, create one using a text editor.
      2. In the essbase.cfg folder on the server computer, set CALCLOCKBLOCKHIGH to 500.
      3. Stopping and restarting Analysis server.
    2. Add the command SET LOCKBLOCK STUDENT at the beginning of the calculation script.
    3. Set the cache of data large enough to hold all the blocks specified in the CALCLOCKBLOCKHIGH parameter.

    In fact in our queue (essbase.cfg) Config Server we have given below added.

    CalcLockBlockHigh 2000

    CalcLockBlockDefault 200

    CalcLockBlocklow 50

    So my question is if edit us the file Essbase.cfg and add the above settings restart services will work?  and if yes, why should change us the configuration file of server if the problem concerns a Cal Script application. Please guide me how to do this.

    Kind regards

    Yes it must *.

    Make sure that you have "migrated settings cache of database as well. If the cache is too small, you will have similar problems.

  • Firefox crashes when I press the button clear cache. Please tell me how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

    Firefox uses a lot of memory and slows down considerably. I tried to clear the cache, but this browser caused from freezing. I rebooted, rebooted and upgraded to 5.0 with no improvement. Please notify.

    I have Firefox 6.0 running on Vista.

    I have a sneaking suspicion that the subprogramme which 'clears the cache', et al, has a incomplete, incorrect disposal problem, "in use" or "infinite loop" elements, such that it crashes when you try to do.

    After a few tries, I found that the best way to solve this problem is to do the following (it is easier than it sounds):

    (1) close all tabs of Firefox and Firefox windows

    (2) lance the Task Manager and stop all processes "Firefox" (i.e., it is possible that more than one may be running, even if you did all of the step (1)).

    (3) go to the folder Firefox cache, usually located in < system drive > \Users\ < your personal folder named > < something > \AppData*\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\. default\Cache and destroy everything that appears under this directory (n. b., you should not require administrative level to do this, if so, try to do this in 'Safe' Mode). {* AppData may be a "hidden" folder}

    (4) start Firefox, select Tools-> Options->
    Advanced-> network-> clear now.

    (5) close Firefox.

    (6) restart Firefox.

    Firefox ran faster after that I did.

    Good luck!

    Hello world

    When I try to run the process for example: devmgmt.msc I get the message: "no program no is associated with this file to perform this action. "Create an association by using the"Set Associations"application in the control panel.

    Last week, I put a few system variables in order to use java on the command prompt and I lost all the values of the variable PATH, no apparent problem until I run CCleaner yesterday (memory cleaner and registry).

    I don't know why but I also found the CatRoot2 directory in the sandbox and I restored it.

    I suppose that one of these causes are involved in the issues that I have on my computer. But the question is to know how to restore my computer without having to format.

  • Guard application launch at the start of the appliance, also need advice for the implementation of network methods

    Hi all

    I'm new to the development of Blackberry and I'm writing a relatively simple application to run on 7.1.

    So far the development was interesting, I managed to create my user interface using resources online (mainly this forum), but today I tried to implement some of the network classes that I need and now I just met constant problems.

    I use Eclipse SDK 3.7.2 (the one that comes with the plugin RIM)

    First question:

    I'm not sure what I changed, but today I noticed that whenever I start the Simulator (by sim 9360) my application is started during the initial startup process. I don't think he did this before, but to be honest, I wasn't paying much attention. I think it starts at the start of the device is because I put a breakpoint in the constructor for my class from the main screen, which is hit before the Simulator happens even to the point where it is ready for user interaction. In addition, once it is ready, if I press the BB button, I see my registered application.

    I don't have it set to automatic start in .xml descriptior enforcement.

    I started this application on the HelloBlackBerry sample, here is my main method for the entry of the application:

    public static void main( String[] args ) {
            appSettings = AppSettings.fetch();
            // Create a new instance of the application and make the currently
            // running thread the application's event dispatch thread.
            HelloBlackBerry theApp = new HelloBlackBerry();
            theApp.enterEventDispatcher();
            //openConnection();

        }

    As far as I know, this is the only entry point for the application.

    More code

        public HelloBlackBerry() {
            // Push a screen onto the UI stack for rendering.
            mainScreen = new ScreenHelloBlackBerry();
            pushScreen( mainScreen );
        }

    Here is the method of. my class AppSettings fetch()

        // Retrieves a copy of the effective properties set from storage.
        public static AppSettings fetch()
        {
            AppSettings savedSettings = (AppSettings) _store.getContents();
            return new AppSettings(savedSettings);
        }

    Some of this code that I wrote myself, the persistence store cause the launch of my car?

    I tried to reset the Simulator to the factory settings, no change.

    All applications initialized during the startup of the device and then closed shortly after?

    Part 2: Need advice for the implementation of functions of network in the application

    I need to implement some methods that will retrieve data from a web service, and I also need to send data to this service. What I've read, the ConnectionFactory is the way to go. I want my application to make a request when the application is open and can check on a set interval. I didn't know exactly how to go about adding another thread for networking, I understand that network connections should not be created on the thread main event, so I tried to do this:

    The constructor of my class that implements screen (ScreenHelloBlackBerry), I use the following to create a modal dialog box to prompt the user for a username, I also try networking wire in the same segment of spawning:

            public ScreenHelloBlackBerry(){...initialize fields and managers, add it all together...then near the end

    //This will open the confirm dialog when the application is launched
            UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater(new Runnable() {
                  public void run() {
                      openConfirmDialog();
                    //start connection - Possibly broken
                      ConnectionThread ct = new ConnectionThread();
                      ct.start();
                  }
            });

    I don't know if it's somehow OK to do, but it seems to work for what I need. I want a user who launches the application at the prompt, and if a user switch applications, when they come back they wondered again (unless they close the app and reopen it).

    Here is my ConnectionThread:

    public class ConnectionThread extends Thread
    {

        public void run()
        {

              ConnectionFactory connFact = new ConnectionFactory();
              ConnectionDescriptor connDesc;
              connDesc = connFact.getConnection("http://www.google.com");
              if (connDesc != null)
              {
                  HttpConnection httpConn;
                  httpConn = (HttpConnection)connDesc.getConnection();
                  try
                  {
                      final int iResponseCode = httpConn.getResponseCode();
                      UiApplication.getUiApplication().invokeLater(new Runnable()
                      {
                          public void run()
                          {
                              Dialog.alert("Response code: " +
                                            Integer.toString(iResponseCode));

                          }
                       });
                      httpConn.close();

                   }
                   catch (IOException e)
                   {
                     System.err.println("Caught IOException: "
                          + e.getMessage());
                   }
              }
        }
    }

    At the moment it has basically unmodified code from a sample that I found, I'll be retooling to meet my needs whenever I can make it work. I HAD this work to the point where, after the closed user confirm this dialog, a few moments later a an alert dialog appears with the 302 response code. I don't know what changed, but now it doesn't work at all, and if I try to scroll with the debugger, I can't past the httpCon.getResponseCode (). I've seen some mistakes earlier on "no record of service was set up", and I also had once a timeout exception.

    I'm sure I'm doing this wrong, but at the same time as I said WAS working, and now it is not. If someone has done this far, thank you very much for your time and advice are much appreciated.

    Also, should I try to start the thread of the network of the UIApplication class instead of the screen? There is currently very little happening in the class that extends UIApplication, do I spend most of my business logic out of the class of the screen and in the UIApplication class?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi all

    Just to conclude this topic for those who are interested, I found an excellent guide to the implementation of networks in applications of BB, click here for a link.

    About my application being started at the start of the simulator of the device, I found that on a device real this behavior is not complied with, and in addition, the behaviour seems to have stopped after uninstallation and reinstallation of my Simulator.

    See you soon,.

    We have added the classpath to the setDomainEnv.sh script.

    From the setDomainEnv.sh file and started the server managed by script.

    It has worked well.

  • Typekit Async loading watch CARE on subsequent loads, even after the fonts are cached

    I got my delivery value async typekit and see visits don't CARE even though the fonts are cached in the browser on the next page. I expect this behavior during the first visit of the page before the police has been cached but do not expect it after its been put in cache. I have the style event policies to manage inactive States and loading of fonts but want to prevent OF happening on pages when the browser has cached fonts and already the js.

    Hi marleneb,

    The behavior you're seeing is expected when you load Typekit using asynchronous ("' async: true" in your embed code "). When you use the asynchronous loading, fonts are always loaded in the background. This can cause a flicker of relief policies, as you have seen, until the Typekit font data is loaded from the cache of the browser or server.

    If you want to share the URL of your website, we can take a look and see if there are any other event police recommendations we can do to help minimize this CARE.  (Feel free to email [email protected] if you do not want to share the site on the forum.)

    Or if you prefer to have the page wait Typekit fonts to be available, you can use the

  • DistributedMember is null in the implementation of the Interface Authenticator?

    DistributedMember is null in the implementation of the authenticator Interface.

    http://www.gemstone.com/docs/current/product/docs/JAPI/com/gemstone/GemFire/security/authenticator.html

    Main authenticate (Properties props, DistributedMember member)

    Check the credentials provided in the properties for the client/peer such as specified in the Member ID and returns the main partner of the customer/peer

    I'm trying to implement authentication. I DistributedMember object as null in the newspapers of Locator when counterpart try to join the distributed system.

    Even if I take the method AuthenticationFailedException authenticate; my Member is still able to join the system of Distribuyed. It's somehow connected to locator * .dat file?

    Messages processed on the thread "UDP incoming Message Handler" are messages of closure of the process itself.  I looked at the code that calls the authenticator and it always affects the null member ID in this case.  I don't know why, but it's what he does.  In addition, in this case it deals a membership VIEW and not a request to join the system.

    You can safely ignore the requests with a null member ID.

    The client authentication is not handled by the Locator well - it is managed by the cache servers when the client tries to connect to them.  Only process GemFire "peer" are authenticated by locators.

    I hope this helps.  I shall notify the Department tech pubs on this subject so that they can update the documentation.

  • The implementation of replication by the issue and do a read/write via DB as well

    Hello

    We have replication between two clusters that is configured as below

    < reading-writing-support-map-plan >
    < internal-cache-system >
    < local plan >
    < / local plan >
    < / internal-cache-system >
    < dumps-plan >
    schema < class >
    > class name < com.oracle.coherence.patterns.pushreplication.PublishingCacheStore < / class name >
    < init-params >
    < init-param >
    java.lang.String < param-type > < / param-type >
    {cache name} < param-value > < / param-value >
    < / init-param >
    < / init-params >
    < / class-system >

    < / dumps-plan >
    < / reading-writing-support-map-plan >

    We also have another editor who writes to DB (direct entry), the operation never set. This is achieved by adding

    xmlns:sync = "" Class: com.example.test.CustomPushReplicationNamespaceContentHandler ' in coherence - server.xml and "

    < sync: Editor >
    < sync: Publisher-name > clientele2-JDBC-editor < / sync: Publisher-name >
    < sync: Editor-system >
    < sync: custom-Publisher-plan >
    < / sync: custom-Publisher-plan >
    < / sync: Editor-system >
    < / sync: Editor >

    (follow this doc,howto_develop_a_custom_push_replication_publisher https://blogs.oracle.com/cosmintudor/entry/coherence_-)

    In this, we were able to run DB update every time that could happens (normal put or push replication put).

    We now want to know, how to read through?

    Note: we have not used CacheLoader interface to implement Write Through. We have extended AbstractPublisherScheme to implement through writing. There is no charge method in the AbstractPublisherScheme class to play through.

    Hello

    To reach it, you must implement your own cache-store "Store1" that extends PublishingCacheStore and implements BinaryEntryStore. In your configuration, use "Store1" as the cache-store and not PublishingCacheStore. In the implementation of the 'Bank' 1, call super.load()/super.store () in your methods of load/store if you want to push the retrieved entries in your load() method store() otherwise do not call super methods.

    I hope this helps!

    See you soon,.
