CBT on zeroing keen records

Hi all

If a disk is configured using thick eager to zero, the CBT will review all areas of drive in use and to back up the entire disc rather than only the disk space used? How does it work? Please share your ideas

Thank you

Ali

> If I understand it, then it means that if a drive is configured using thick eager to zero, the CBT would consider all sectors of disk is in use so to backup the whole disc rather than only the disk space used.

This case is only the theory - in the normal conditions of use, you first create the disk - and then a little later - you create a backup job.

So, the starting point for the CBT database is generally a disk populated.

Only this case would be: you start with an empty disk implemented end - and then create the first complete backup before you even installed an operating system - and then you blow up the thin disc put into service for the nominal with a comand as size
If DD \u003d/dev/zero of = / dev/sda
Now that can cause the issue you think - although even now CBT guess probably that blocks not allocated in a thin vmdk can be considered to be in the same State as the blocks of same wiped with zeros after inflation or a dd command

  • In DataGrid, how to fill a column with zeros (0) records?

    Is there a simple way, in a DataGrid, for fill the records in a column with zeros (0)?

    I have a DataGrid with two columns: colA and colB.  ColA records values from a RemoteObject call.  I need auto-fill (AutoFill) recordings in colB with zeros.  How is that possible?

    Thank you!

    If you need to 0 in the dataprovider, once pass you the loop of result of the data provider and add a dynamic property with value = 0;

    Something like that

    var dp:ArrayCollection = event.result as ArrayCollection collection;

    for (each var item: Object in PD)
    {
    item.demoValue = 0;
    }

    Create a new datagrid column, set demoValue as datafield.

    If it is just for display, add a new column, put an itemrenderer with label = '0 '.

  • truncates the leading zeros, even if the Member is of type text

    We have members with data type 'TEXT' in database planning. When the user types something with no leading zeros, it records the same in the relationship, but not the same list in planning. It truncates the zero, even if it is a member of text.

    Planning version 11.1.2

    Example:

    Member name: bearing code (TEXT type)

    Value: 011_Issue (record the same in relationships)

    Display value: 11_Issue (drops the zero)

    is there a solution?

    Hi, Justin000,

    In the Windows version of the Skype client software, check your voicemail answer settings of options here:

    Tools-> Options->-> voicemail calls, answer set to zero (0)-> record

    See if it works for you.

    Kind regards

  • HP ENVY tilted 27 TS AIO: hp wireless keyboard model sk2061

    about 10 days ago my keyboard has lost the ability to respond to the press following keys: 6, 7, y, u, h, j, n, m.

    I searched the web, found problems similar and carried out a solution recommended to unplug my computer's power & web, press and hold the power button / stop for 15-30 seconds (I tried 15 when it does not work tried 30) button press f10 to display bios, zero defects, record, plug everything back in and uninstall the keyboard device mgr , and then restart - nothing helped.

    I think that there is a key combination that I must have pressed that invalidates these keys because all the others work well. someone at - it a solution or should I get a new keyboard and if I can how I know that these keys is disabled as well?

    I was able to fix it by pressing the alt key and the key to the right of the print screen.

  • Audio problems and mask when reading not on no FULL quality

    Win 10
    I7 6core
    GTX980 4GB - had the same problem with the previous cards + latest drivers are used and have had the problem with older drivers.
    32 GB of Ram
    Body CC2015

    Working with and reading Dragon RED 6 K images on the timeline, the audio track falls inside and out. The meters also stop working when audio is de-energized. It matters little if the audio is the zero song recorded on the RED or if it is external audio synchronized to the top. The issue seems to only happen when the playback quality is not set to FULL quality, what quality is set to FULL rear audio playback perfectly reading Dragon 6 K sequences in real time is a bit beyond my machine if it isn't really a viable option. The question goes as far if I disable the layer with RED film and just play the audio layers so the audio recorded appears to be very well.

    According to the other forum posts, I tried compliant audio to a drive other than the one with the RED film. I also tried to move the audio to another drive as some have suggested that the issue was on the HARD drive that contains the images RED 100% reading. None of these options worked. I can never remember running into this issue Edition and playback of images of RED EPIC 5 K. And did I not the audio problem when working with lower resolution files.

    I also met other issues in trying to work with the Organization of reading other than that of the TOTAL quality. The use of masks on effects GPU accelerated often causes the whole layer to move off the coast of the viewer project or black glitter during playback. When stopped everything of fine. A quick fix is reading quality INTEGRAL, but once again this is not always possible according to the number of applied Visual effects. Also the engine of reading mercury to the software not 'fixed' the issue of the mask, but it's not really useful in practice. Have had the problem of masking for a long time and initially, I thought that it was related with colorista III, so I grew up with the red giant. They were able to reproduce the issue and noticed that it happened with the other native Ppro GPU accelerated effects, meaning that it was a body does not issue a colorista problem. Support red giant apparently passed on the issue to the agency team, but that was back when colorista 3 is out and still no solution.

    Let me know if you need more information.

    See you soon,.

    Update: CC 2015.2

    Masking question can be solved when you right click on the viewer of the program and then click left high quality playback.

    Still no update on the audio issues however.

    Update 2: CC 2015.2

    Audio is de-energized is more if you delete the audio tracks of RED Dragons. Only play .wav files under the Dragon pictures with audio in sync, I no longer get audio drop-outs. This may apply to other codecs as well.

    First step: good audio sync with the zero track.

    Second step: remove the audio tracks of cameras.

    For me, that stops my audio stall and not to come back.

    Update 3: CC 2015.3

    High quality playback is at the origin of files PNG away from their intended position and also no longer works as it did in 2015.2. Not sure about her work at all TBH.

  • HFM application copies

    Hi all

    If please help me understand if we really need to stop the source and target application services to perform the copy of the HFM application (with the utility).
    And what will be the impact if a user tries to run an operation in db when the application is copying, in other cases.
    We are having HFM 11.1.2.1

    Thank you.

    You don't need to have the services stopped to perform the copy; However, if there are users in the system, it could cause problems. Copy of App utility makes a copy of the application to database level . If data changes occur when the copy is in progress, you cannot get those changes as they could be cached in the memory of the server. It is also possible that the tables will be locked due to actions taken by the users of the system, which will result in the application of the copy to fail. (You will be able to restart the copy of the table failed however) The source database may incur a performance while the copy is made; However, if you avoid peak times, this shouldn't be a problem.

    Keep in mind that all depends on what you're trying to do with the copied app. If you make a copy to test a change to historical data, it matter that you miss some cached data.

    It should also be noted that you can control the copy process. The tab produce, you can limit the copying to scenarios or specific years. If you only need a value of 1 year of data, why copy everything? This will significantly reduce tables that should diminish the chances of all the copy data contention problems. You can also filter State invalid Calc, data or zero value records. However, it will slow things down and require more resources of the server database.

    I hope this helps.

  • QUESTION OF REDUNDANCY NORMAL ASM

    Hi all

    Document Oracle ASM NORMAL QUESTION of REDUNDANCY [1480954.1 ID] says the statement, I find it difficult to understand the line which is marked in italics below.

    To determine the appropriate size of a diskgroup which is protected with redundancy of ASM, sufficient free space must exist in the diskgroup
    so that when a drive goes down, it can automatically rebuild the contents of the drive failed on another drive in the diskgroup. The database should stay online if sufficient space is available
    . The amount of space required to ensure ASM can restore redundancy if there is no disc is in the REQUIRED_MIRROR_FREE_MB column in the view V$ ASM_DISKGROUP. The amount of free space that can be used safely in a disk group, taking into account, mirroring and still be able to restore redundancy after a drive failure is in the USABLE_FILE_MB column in the view V$ ASM_DISKGROUP. USABLE_FILE_MB must always be greater than zero. If USABLE_FILE_MB falls below zero, most records should be added to the disk group.

    DOUBT: why what he have reconstitute the content of the disc failed on another drive in the diskgroup when scopes in mirror and I do not understand when the disc itself is failed how they can access it and rebuild its contents to another drive.

    Concerning

    DOUBT: why need restore the contents of the drive failed on another drive in the diskgroup when there mirrored scopes

    because the data on the failed drive is not more in the opposite direction (no additional copies) and to ensure a level of normal redundancy, we'll build a new mirror copy of data

    I do not understand when the disc itself broke down how they can access it and rebuild its contents to another drive.

    data always available, mirrored

    to explain it simply:

    everything is stored with 2 copies (original + mirror)
    When 1 is lost, a new copy will be rebuilt among others the 1, so there will be 2 copies again

  • Issue of bit depth

    Hello

    My audio device can enjoy up to 24 - bit. When I create a 32 bit file in Audition 2.0 and recording material using the audio device, hearing tells me the file is 32-bit, and it is twice the size of a 16-bit file equivalent. But is this really a 32-bit file, and could there be any problems with the file? It looks good in all directions.

    Thank you.

    No hardware audio only samples actually more than 24 - bit, because there is absolutely no reason - same 24 bits of depth is not really usable in its entirety; a system like in theory, it could scan a lower average noise floor can be physically realized by any system mic and preamp available - you need nitrogen to the less liquid cooling of all components before even started to look at the rest of the problems!

    So why hearing record 32-bit? Well, the digitization of 32-bit floating point is a little different. Real 24 - bit signal is saved enough faithfully (though not quite in the form of an entire signal) and the other 8 bits remain essentially with zeros during recording. What they are actually is scaling of bits. And this is seriously useful during treatment. What this means is that your original signal can be resized from top down without loss. In a whole engine, if you have decided to throw a signal 30 dB, saved the result and has reopened the case and it amplified again, you will find that your 24 - bit signal was actually 19 bits. At the hearing, if you did exactly the same thing with a 32-bit floating-point signal, you won't lose any bit depth at all. No, it's not magic - it's just the effect of storing the original data in a form inherenently don't be changed when a change of amplitude is required - it's only system scaling that is, that it does not contain audio data.

    So yes, it's a real 32-bit signal - but not all of the 32 bits are used until perform you a treatment.

  • Select only records where the column values are not all equal to zero

    Hi everyone, it seems so easy, but it has left me speechless on the research in a way that is clean, easy to achieve. I know when someone replies, I'm going to kick me. So, let's assume this is what I have:
    with mytable as (
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'JAN' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'FEB' as monthname, 1 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'MAR' as monthname, 5 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'APR' as monthname, 1 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'MAY' as monthname, 4 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'JUL' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'AUG' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'SEP' as monthname, 1 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'OCT' as monthname, 7 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'NOV' as monthname, 1 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 1' as itemtype, 'DEC' as monthname, 2 as theval from dual union all

    select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'JAN' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'FEB' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'MAR' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'APR' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'MAY' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'OCT' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'NOV' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual union all
    select 'Type 2' as itemtype, 'DEC' as monthname, 0 as theval from dual
    )
    select
      itemtype,
      sum (case monthname when 'JAN' then theval else 0 end) as JAN,
      sum (case monthname when 'FEB' then theval else 0 end) as FEB,
      sum (case monthname when 'MAR' then theval else 0 end) as MAR,
      sum (case monthname when 'APR' then theval else 0 end) as APR,
      sum (case monthname when 'MAY' then theval else 0 end) as MAY,
      sum (case monthname when 'JUN' then theval else 0 end) as JUN,
      sum (case monthname when 'JUL' then theval else 0 end) as JUL,
      sum (case monthname when 'AUG' then theval else 0 end) as AUG,
      sum (case monthname when 'SEP' then theval else 0 end) as SEP,
      sum (case monthname when 'OCT' then theval else 0 end) as OCT,
      sum (case monthname when 'NOV' then theval else 0 end) as NOV,
      sum (case monthname when 'DEC' then theval else 0 end) as DEC
    from mytable
    group by itemtype
    order by itemtype
    I need an external application around it or something which will select only 'Type 1'... that is, if all months are each equal to zero, do not include the record in the result set.

    In summary to get a total of zero is not an option, because I could have-15 and + 15 in different columns, in which case, the recording should be displayed.

    Something as simple as... 'not the case (oct = 0 and 0 nov and dec = 0...) at the end is all it seems to me necessary. I thought to add a case for each column clause, but that seems not very effective. Ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

    Edit... I know not what follows will work using the MINUS operator, but my actual query is really huge, and I don't want to have to write it twice...
    {code}
    Select
    ItemType,
    sum (case monthname when "JAN" then Val else 0 end) such as JAN,.
    sum (case when monthname 'FEB', then Val 0 otherwise end) by Feb.
    sum (case when monthname 'MAR', then Val 0 otherwise end) like MARS,
    sum (case monthname when "APR" then Val else 0 end) as APR.
    sum (case when monthname 'MAY', then Val else 0 end) either.
    sum (case when monthname "JUN", then Val 0 otherwise end) as JUN.
    sum (case monthname when "JUL" then Val else 0 end) as JUL,.
    sum (case monthname when "AUG" then Val else 0 end) as AUG.
    sum (case monthname when "MS" then Val else 0 end) as MS.
    sum (case monthname when "OCTS" then Val else 0 end) OCT.
    sum (case monthname when "NOV" then Val else 0 end) as NOV.
    sum (case monthname when 'DEC' then Val else 0 end) as DEC
    FROM MyTable
    Group of itemtype

    less

    Select
    ItemType,
    Jan, Feb, mar, Apr, may, June, July, August, Sept, oct, nov, dec
    de)
    Select
    ItemType,
    sum (case monthname when "JAN" then Val else 0 end) such as JAN,.
    sum (case when monthname 'FEB', then Val 0 otherwise end) by Feb.
    sum (case when monthname 'MAR', then Val 0 otherwise end) like MARS,
    sum (case monthname when "APR" then Val else 0 end) as APR.
    sum (case when monthname 'MAY', then Val else 0 end) either.

    sum (case monthname when "MS" then Val else 0 end) as MS.
    sum (case monthname when "OCTS" then Val else 0 end) OCT.
    sum (case monthname when "NOV" then Val else 0 end) as NOV.
    sum (case monthname when 'DEC' then Val else 0 end) as DEC
    FROM MyTable
    Group of itemtype
    )
    where (oct = 0 & nov = 0 and dec = 0 and jan = 0 and 0 = Feb and mar = 0
    apr = 0 and may = 0 and = 0 jun and Jul = 0 and aug = 0 and Ms = 0
    )
    order of itemtype
    {code}

    Change again... OK, I guess that I am answering my own question here, but I think that by using a WITH to write the main request once clause and then selecting * twice using the MINUS operator between where the second query is where (oct = 0, etc.) is what I need. If anyone has better suggestions, please let me know! Here's the logic of nickname for what I come up with to date...

    {code}
    WITH mainquery as (select all)
    Select * from mainquery
    less
    Select * from mainquery where (oct = 0, nov = 0, etc...)
    {code}

    Thanks again!

    Hello

    You can do it with a HAVING clause:

    select
      itemtype,
      sum (case monthname when 'JAN' then theval else 0 end) as JAN,
      sum (case monthname when 'FEB' then theval else 0 end) as FEB,
      sum (case monthname when 'MAR' then theval else 0 end) as MAR,
      sum (case monthname when 'APR' then theval else 0 end) as APR,
      sum (case monthname when 'MAY' then theval else 0 end) as MAY,
      sum (case monthname when 'JUN' then theval else 0 end) as JUN,
      sum (case monthname when 'JUL' then theval else 0 end) as JUL,
      sum (case monthname when 'AUG' then theval else 0 end) as AUG,
      sum (case monthname when 'SEP' then theval else 0 end) as SEP,
      sum (case monthname when 'OCT' then theval else 0 end) as OCT,
      sum (case monthname when 'NOV' then theval else 0 end) as NOV,
      sum (case monthname when 'DEC' then theval else 0 end) as DEC
    from mytable
    group by itemtype
    HAVING      MIN (theval)     != 0
    OR      MAX (theval)     != 0
    order by itemtype
    ;

    If the values are all 0, then the MIN and MAX will be 0.
    If the MIN or MAX is not 0, the values are all 0.

    This assumes that the combination (itemtype, monthname) is unique, because it is in your sample data.
    If this is not the case, start with a subquery that GROUPs BY itemtype, monthname, so that when you get to the main request, this combination will be unique.

  • Zero latency when recording possible? CS6

    I can't get the latency time at an acceptable level in hearing CS6.  When recording I can hear an audible delay when I pull my string guitar for when I hear it playing on my computer speakers.  The latency in Audidion was initially set to 200ms and I've adjusted all the way to 30ms (which is as low as possible as seems) but I still get a delay that makes it too difficult to play with a backing track.  Is it possible to reduce this latency time to zero?

    "Audio equipment" current settings are set at: MS, 30ms, 44100 Hz.

    I'm running my guitar through an M-Audio Fast Track Pro USB interface.

    Release of Windows 7 on board sound via an optical cable to a 5.1 receiver.

    Audition CS6

    A number of things...

    First, visit the M-Audio site and download ASIO drivers appropriate for your Fast Track Pro.  ASIO offers much less latency than MS and, probably more important, in my view, it allows the hearing latency compensation work properly.

    Second, the use of your sound card onboard which is designed for the playback of videos of pit (where the 5.1) rather than low latency recording.  I guess that's why you're stuck with Ms too.  Make your exit through the Fast Track pro and read to the accelerated procedure manual monitoring section.  Your interface allows 'direct material' monitoring for you to listen to your guitar on the entry, and not after a round trip via a to D, your computer conversion, then a D to a conversion.

    I hope these steps help!
