    Photoshop works very well.

    My specs:

Windows 7 64 bit (almost new facility)

    GeForce GTX 960

    (everything is up-to-date)

    What I tried:

-) Disable all listed in mscofnig under system startup - restart

Restart -) install the latest Visual C++ Redistributable package-

-) Uninstall LR, Photoshop and Creative Cloud - restart - running the cleanup tool Adobe CC and did a new install - reboot

The cleaning tool Adobe CC didn't throw any errors, but a caveat:

After hours, I finally found a solution:

Repair the existing installation of "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 updated 4"

  • Lightroom crashes on startup after update 2014

I installed the new updated Lightroom 2014, as well as the PS CC 2014 and bridge. PS and bridge work correctly, but LR crashes at startup. Briefly, I see the splash screen and logo and then it disappeared.

I tried to wipe and reinstall LR, but the problem persists. What should I do?

  • 6.5 Lightroom crashes at startup to the top

I have a stand alone LR 6.5 on MacBook running Mavericks 10.9.5

Everything worked great to this that today ' today when I tried to use the NIK plug-ins Collection. I chose to edit a TIFF with Lightroom .dng file copy in Nik Collection output sharpening - the open plug but Lightroom exported file does not load correctly ie. I could see the name of the file, but the screen showed the image but a component of black and white. All the sliders worked, but I couldn't see the image at all. I went with the Collection of NIK and found this:

Crashes on Mac OS - Nik Collection help

I followed the instructions and deleted duplicates (gray and disabled) fonts Arial thinking it would help.

After that, I returned to LR and tried again the plug-in. The same thing happened - that is in black and white graph image pane. I tried saving the file and export to LR. The exported TIFF file appeared in LR, but it was black on the preview pane. After that I couldn't open LR - it crashed everytime I try to open it.

I think the file exported somehow got corrupted, but I don't know how to solve the problem. I can't find answers online.

Thank you, but this isn't the question of my GPU power (I understand that this might help when a plug-in does not work). I have already uninstalled the Nik Collection of my HD before you try to reopen LR and couldn't.

In any case, I've sorted the problem - I found the answer on the Queen of Lightroom Blog which lists many troubleshooting tips. All I had to do was to restore LR preference by pressing Alt + Shift while launching the program. Maybe you could put these tips on Adobe's Web site as there is very little there in terms of aid.

Could answer you my question if there is a way to delete an individual file from the main catalogue in LR? Or is it impossible?

    Thank you

  • Lightroom crashes at startup

Morning, please can someone help me.

I am running Windows 10, 64-bit Pro and Lightroom CC 2015.3.

After a reboot, I can only open Lightroom once, if I close and restart, it crashes (without an application error and I can not kill the process either and when I try to restart Windows after the shot I have to physically turn off the box because it will not be closed) and Event Viewer is lifting this error:

I thought that it might be to do with the disconnection - sign in question that I don't have to do every time I run the app, and I also tried to disable using the GPU thinking that maybe that's, but without success.

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thank you for everyone who took their response time, much appreciated as it made my head a few weeks.

What I did - and everything is well-oiled is again, delete all preferences, clear all cache including intelligent previews or 1:1, and it now works as expected.

I'll keep this thread updated if I get the problem even once and I'll close down of the solution and the real problem, but I hope this can help someone.

I looked and saw that the manually download the missing dll files would be a solution, but someone does know what are the real cause of these issues? DirectX?, .net Framework? I had a reformat before a few weeks with new graphics and SSD and had no problem with anything that day, I have to my knowledge do exactly the same procedure, by using the same operating system but have encountered this problem? A value of another reformat?

Please open you LR folder next to the .lrcat file. If there is a file ending with .lock, when LR is left, remove it. Otherwise, I remove LR Prefs, then restart by double clicking on the .lrcat. How to locate files in preferences in L.

  • Lightroom crashes at startup without error

    Mac OSX Mavericks.

Use Bridge and PS all day, sometimes use lightroom to edit EXIF details. As I tried today.

First I launched it and it just disappeared... mmm that's weird...

so after a few tries more I deleted it from the application folder, reinstalled from the creative and the same cloud app.

so, I removed the preferences file and everything and tried again, still nothing. LR flashes for a second and then his party.

So, I out of the CC and deleted the app LR, signed in and reinstalled. now it's working. ... Weird WTF licensing question I guess...

  • 6 Lightroom crashing at start up - validated solutions did not work. Help, please

    Hello

    Machine features:

    Surface Pro 3

    Intel Core i7,

    Windows 8.1,

    8 GB of ram.

The application crashes at startup upward. Splash screen shows but when I hover over with the mouse or click on the app, I get "not responding". Things I've tried: rename the preferences file, delete the file from catalog .lock, update windows 8.1.

All the other things I can try?

    TIA

Ok. I guess I missed it. After trying this, it fixed my problem.

Lightroom does not launch or closes automatically after the splash screen

  • 4.4 LR crashes on startup after update to 4.3

I upgraded from LR LR 4.4 4.3 and now I can't start lightroom. It crashes on startup with the mosaic of LR information superimposed on the main window. It's on Windows 7 64 bit. Windows also has a hard time killing the app/process. Is it possible to return safely to 4.3? Other suggestions welcome. Thank you!

Try to move your Lightroom preferences file side.

  • Constant crash on startup and change filter flag

I use Lightroom 2.4 (Windows Vista). I have a folder with about 2600 photos. Many of them are reported. Almost every time I change the filter on the items that are reported or items which are marked not Lightroom crashes.

When I restart Lightroom it crashes immediately (problably because of the wrong filter). Is it possible to get around the filter currently defined, so I can again start Lightroom?

After starting several attempts it finally starts ok, but especially after ten crashes at startup.

Deleting the Prefs file should cure this. How to locate files in LR preferences...

The other thing to check is a file ending with .lock; It should be there when LR is running; not when he's quit LR.

  • Firefox not working in Win7 now it crashes at startup even after a clean install. is there a problem with Symantec?

Firefox worked on my Windows 7 desktop. One day he gave me a report of crash at startup, I went through the troubleshooting procedures suggested. I tried restarting, upgrade, uninstalled and reinstalled, uninstalled and cleaned the files and the registry and deleted the files module then resettled but nothing works. It keeps giving a crash report on startup. I remember that my Symantec software gave a message that FireFox has been stopped due to an attack on my system. Ever since then, it won't work and I can't seem to cross the screen to crash at startup of FireFox.

Thank you for the report crash IDs. If you open the error reports and click on the 'Modules' tab, you will see that the first on the list in each case is "FLVSrvLib.dll". This module installs with various programs of Applian Technologies including Freecorder and Replay Media Catcher.

This crash is closely related to have BOTH software Applian software of security AND Norton. As no doubt you don't want spend away from Norton, you can remove or disable the Applian software as follows:

    (1) uninstall and restart

If you have either of these programs and it is not essential, try to uninstall it then restart Windows to ensure that none of its components are running.

Firefox will start normally after that?

    (2) avoid auto-start

If you do not uninstall the program, a few others said using the msconfig program to stop execution at startup FlvSrvc.exe circumvented the problem.

    See: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/using-system-configuration

You may still need to restart to unload the software of your current Windows session.

    Success?

  • Firefox crashes at startup, even in safe mode

Firefox has just started to crash at startup, even in safe mode.

I also tried to create a new profile (which Firefox let me do), but it crashed as soon as I tried to use the new profile.

The only way I could get it to start is putting him to work offline, which is obviously not very useful.

Here are a few crash IDs:

    BP-d5fc34cb-2f6b-48CE-8327-ceb2c2151011
    BP-e2667a62-9301-414C-894e-bd5fc2151011

The last ID is for is the first crash I got, which didn't happen at startup.

Thanks for the tips. I still don't know what was wrong, but a restart of the computer has set.
