    Did you read my response to your other thread?

    In java, a BLOB is just the index that gives you access to the content. In your case, you access by selecting a locator BLOB existing and getting his inputstream. This inputstream is what allows you to access the content real blob.

    The Locator is just that; It specifies the LOCATION of the blob content, but NOT the content.

  • 2.1 ai2: nobody knows what the time units are in unit tests?

    Hi all

    I ran a few tests in SQL Developer ai2 and I'm curious to know the units of time that I see in some contexts; If anyone can enlighten me, I would be very grateful...

    (1) I have my unit test set to 'collect Code coverage statistics.
    (2) when I run a test, the results tab shows the columns 'Status' and 'Time' - 'Period' means here? For example, my test '1 826' watch - is this milli-seconds of processing time? Any other clues?
    (3) I then look at the 'Test Runs Code Coverage' report and click on the appropriate entry in the upper part of the screen, which shows me the «Code coverage Details» view
    (4) I can make sense columns 'Line', 'Text' and 'Total_Occurrences', but what makes the value of the average of column "Total_Time" here? For example, for simple SUBSTR assignment operations, I see a "Total_Time" of "1201", is this microseconds, nano-seconds?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Chris Hughes

    Hi Chris -.

    (2) the term is in milliseconds (1/1000 second) (this is the time from the customer point of view for each operation)
    (4) Total_Time is in nanoseconds (1/1000000000 sec) (or at least what the documentation for plsql_profiler_data.total_time (where get us all this) ;)) said

  • What does Time Machine to the top of the address book?

    I use OS X El Capitan (10.11.5) and AddressBook application.

    I created a bunch of groups in the address book and must have one accidentally deleted because he disappeared. I use Time Machine and it seems to be compatible with the address book, so I thought I could just go back to an older version, but I can't seem to make it work.

    If I enter Time Machine from the address book application, I see the old backups to return indefinitely. I have chosen one a week ago and restored, but I don't see the old group. In fact, there are always new groups that I just created today.

    So I did not understand what actually have backed up by Time Machine. Is this just backup contact records, but not groups?

    When I restore, it restores the entire database or just a folder that I'm looking?

    Thanks in advance for any suggestion or advice!

  • Convert time GMT AEST(australian timing) in SQL

    Hi Gayathri Venugopal,

    You can do something like this:

    select from_tz(to_timestamp('2015-08-18 11:30:05','yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss'), 'UTC')
    at time zone 'Australia/West' from dual

    OR

    select from_tz(to_timestamp('2015-08-18 11:30:05','yyyy-mm-dd hh24:mi:ss'), 'UTC')
    at time zone 'Australia/Melbourne' from dual

    Don't know your data/settings NLS session, so it would not be a perfect solution, I guess.

    In addition, this issue concerns mainly SQL if you can post in the appropriate forum: SQL

    I hope this helps!

  • in what real-time means exactly

    Hello, I am tracking esx performance cpu and memory and I do not understand the parameter in real time

    with ESX 3.5 / 2.5 VC / 1 VI toolkit

    I understand this capture in real time the performance of the ESX and not the database

    But why are they differences between two values

    examples

    *

    * get-stat -entity $esx in real-time - -stat cpu.usage.average = 6.49

    * v

    Get-stat -entity $esx -stat cpu.usage.average = 16.3

    Looks like that takes the value of the processor 0 and without real takes the average among all the cpu in real-time

    * get-stat -entity $esx in real-time - -stat mem.usage.average = 36.2

    * v

    Get-stat -entity $esx -stat mem.usage.average = 30.4

    Looks like real time takes 6% more thant without what is this 6% for memory?

    Thanks for help

  • What is time Canon construct

    Wanted to understand what is canonical time build and how us implement it... read somewhere it's difficult to implement...
    OBIEE has several options for implementation of the time, however, I recommend canonical time - it of a little more difficult to implement - but is more beneficial for your bi system
    As Stjin mentioned in the thread below...

    Question about multiple columns Date OBIEE 11.1.1.5

    search on Google, I found
    Canonical time is a useful way to allow users to report for a specific period of time in any of multiple star patterns. If you use canonical time, ensure that the corresponding time > presentation table is given a very generic name and that name is constant in all the catalogues of presentation. It should be the first table in a catalogue.
    No explanation with example as fact, Sun would be much appreciated...

    Thank you
    Ashish

    In your source, you can have several attributes of the date of your table in the source. For example: when you have a prescription, it can have an order date, shipping Date and paid Date.

    The sales manager wants to know how much it sold, so the measure quantity sold per month must be based on the Date of the order. The buyer wants to see patterns in the inventory of the company, so he's interested in the units sold per month. This means that this measure is based on the Date of mailing. The finance manager wants to see the amount paid the company a month, so this must be based on when the customer has paid. This means measures: quantity sold, units shipped and amount paid are based on different dates.

    In your presentation layer, you don't want to bother users with different dates or the dimensions of different times, because the measures already explain what date is used. If you don't want to create multiple time dimensions in your laygers MDB based on aliases of your time dimension. What you need to do is to create multiple aliases of your fact table and join each fact to a common time dimension table. Then, you put each alias as a LTS separate to your logical fact table and map measures to the LTS right.

    When you create a report with the months, quantity sold, revenue and units shipped, you will see in logging that the Oracle BI Server will create 3 request that will be stitched together like a single result.

  • Items changes time to time GMT - why?

    When I develop a photo (from raw) and save as jpg or PSD, the time is converted to GMT.   I sure don't want that to happen.  How can I disable it?

    Thank you

    Larry

    Management zones with photos is a disorder of the industry. If you really want to know all the details:

    EXIF 2.2 metadata standard (following almost all cameras) does not allow for time zones to save, and it specifies that time there recorded in photos interpreted as local time.  So if you take a photo in a part of the world and then move this image to another part of the world, there are all kinds of ambiguity as to when the photo was taken.  (Pretty amazing that the industry would make such an elementary error in the 1990s).

    Some cameras record the time zone in the EXIF field, which extends from the standard, but this extension is not widely accepted by the programs.

    There is a standard, newer XMP metadata, which is gradually being adopted by the industry of software (including Adobe, Apple and Microsoft).  XMP requires time to register unambiguously with a time zone.  Unfortunately, I don't know any camera manufacturers who have adopted XMP.

    So if you are in the city of New York (EAST) and the clock of your camera is set at 10:53, when you take a picture, this time is going to get counted in the pic 10:53 (with no time zone).  If you then import this pic in your PSE in San Francisco, CA (PST), PSE will interpret that as the time local (PST), which is like 10:53 PST or 18:53 UTC (GMT).  PSE then recorded without ambiguity as 18:53 UTC in its catalog.  PSE will convert this time in hour local (e.g. 10:53 PST) whenever he shows it to a user.   She will also write 18:53 UTC in the XMP metadata.   Finally, Windows Vista and Windows 7 will show you the time XMP if it exists (the time unambiguously), otherwise it shows you the time EXIF (local time).

    I think that it is reasonable behavior share of PSE and Microsoft, given the mess with the industry standards.  But to add to the confusion, the PSE has bugs, and it is not always follow these rules.  Sometimes he rewrites the time in EXIF to a peak UTC rather than local time (for example, when you spend time in a batch of photos using edit > set the Date and time); Adobe has recognized this bug for a long time but did not set.

  • By using the date class to change the alpha of an object depending on the time (GMT)

    Hello

    I'm trying (and evil) to get my head around AS3 and build a flash webpage. I have 2 layers in the timeline, each containing a clip corresponding to the size of the page with instance names backgroundDay and backgroundNight.

    What I'm wanting is for the background to change to the day and night, so that from 18:00 to 06:00 backgroundDay alpha becomes 0 to show backgroundNight behind.

    I've been scouring the internet and haven't found anything, so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Sophie

    Yes, you could use a timer. Something like this:

    var t:Timer = new Timer (1000);
    t.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, timerHandler);

    t.Start ();
    function timerHandler(event:TimerEvent)
    {
    var d: Date = new Date();
    backgroundDay.alpha = (d.hoursUTC > 5 & d.hoursUTC)< 18)="" 1="" :="">
    }

  • Arab support in what sense?

    Hi all
    I see the Text Layout Framework supports the Arabic language. I wonder what this means, showing the language? But I see that when I put the Arabic text to a TextField, I see so it's readable. Can someone explain the benefits of Text Layout Framework compared with the traditional one in that sense?

    Thank you

    -Hoang Long

    Hi Hoang,

    One of the most important features related to Arabic is full support for right to left and bidirectional text. All the features of TLF (selection, editing and fluid text on multiple columns and linked containers, and around a picture online, etc.) can be used in the right of the box on the left.

  • Hidden field revealed to what date / time field is changed

    Hello

    How can I encode my form so that when a user selects a date in the date / time on the ground it will then reveal a hidden text field, I suppose it would be a 'change' in javascript rather than "quit".

    Would appreciate any advice.

    Thank you

    Presence of property allows you to hide / show fields.

    FieldName.presence = "visible"; Display the field.

    FieldName.presence = 'hidden '; Hides the field.

    You can decide the event you want to place the code in based on your needs. Output event will be executed when the user leaves the field. Change event will be executed when the value changes in the field.

    Thank you

  • 5.0.2 for Moscow time zone GMT + 04:00?

    Change request

    Moscow TIME GMT + 03:00

    p.s. the event calendar does not work.

    Please send me your IMEI Kju!

    I checked what software you have in your phone (it's generic to the Russia) and installed the same version in my phone but I still don't see GMT + 03:00.

    Did you update the new firmware to using PC Companion, bridge for Mac or update of the phone Center?

  • What should be my time to latency resulting?

    Please can someone tell me about what my time of latency that results should be in the Prox 10.2.4 logic?

    I use an interface Apollo Twin Duo Thunderbolt, with a Macbook Pro 15' 2015 of the retina, Quad Core 2.8 ghz, 16gbRam, El Capitan 10.11.3

    In preferences, it indicates the size of buffer 64

    Result 10.2ms (exit 2.1ms) roundtrip latency

    Is this normal?   If this latency is high, how can it be reduced?  I bought the most expensive interface that I could afford!

    It's causing you problems?  Placement of record does not affect latency.

    You can hear with the help of a live microphone or guitar/bass input.

    The round-trip latency is high given the size of buffer, which means that somewhere in the chain either Apple or AU-Apollo has added additional buffers.

    My material RME under Snow Leopard under Logic-9 shows:

    Buffer size 128 round trip latency 7.3ms out 3.7

    "" 64 4.4ms roundtrip latency output 2.2

    ««32 2.9ms roundtrip latency output 1.5»

    Normally the return buffer size is double (or slightly more) that the latency of the output, so in your case, it would be between 4.2 and 4.4ms. The pilot of Apollo or logic or the last OSX added buffers. I wouldn't be surprised if it's not Apple Core Audio, which uses the extra buffering... recent Mac operating systems are too heavy top and ineffective even if it's not that noticeable that the whole system is the additional use buffering, which is why so much RAM and open disk space is necessary. There is also the possibility that the extra buffers are part of the Thunderbolt interface?
