  You can try to switch between GPU and CPU by pressing Ctrl / Cmd + E, or you try disabling GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU. You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.

  If your document is in file > color Mode > color RGB, your CMYK values will get confused upward (literally).

  Work with CMYK colors always use CMYK color mode.

  You have the game to match the pixel grid . You will need to select everything in your document, and uncheck the box. Then, in the drop-down menu, uncheck align new objects to the pixel grid.

  Howard you'll want to install Illustrator not copy from one computer to the other.  Please removed what you copied and download a new copy of CS5 products downloadinstallation files.  If you need to locate your serial number recorded, it will be at http://www.adobe.com/.  You can find details on how to locate your serial number registered to quickly find your serial number.

• Illustrator does not open "an unknown error has occurred (-108)".

  I installed Yosemite a few weeks and it took several days to finally get things working again. Everything was fine for awhile, but now Safari try to continually reload pages, Mail crashes when I check new messages (it disappears without warning), Illustrator gives me "unknown error (-108)", just InDesign disappears when I try to start it, Word does not open, preview does not work in the finder. This is a major drawback and makes my pretty useless Mac.

  If it only happens with some files, I think they can become corrupt (you are opening of / clean hard disk recording, see below).

  If Yes, often tried something is first of all create a new document and the file > Place the damaged to see how much can be saved like this (don't forget of check paste remembers layers palette flyout/dropdown first layer and uncheck it later).

  You can also try opening the document with Adobe Acrobat, if it has been registered with the selected PDF Compatible file, then save it as a PDF and try to open that.

  It is always recommended here for open/save your documents from your own hard drive, then copy to external media/servers/let it be as a backup.

  You maybe lucky (for a while), but the chances of corruption of files and other unpleasantnesses are immensely greater when you use something else than the hard drive.

• Panels of Illustrator does not properly

  When I first open Illustrator CC 2014 every day, the panels do not open properly. If I click on the icon 'Print' or 'nuances in the Panel on the right bar, nothing opens. I have to leave Illustrator, throw all the preferences and restart the application runs correctly. Is there a conflict with some fonts, or do I need to uninstall and reinstall Illustrator CC 2014? I've recently updated to OS X Yosemite, but I don't think that is related to this.

  The upgrade to Yosemite is directly related to it. You must uninstall, probably to run the cleanup tool, then reinstall your Adobe applications. The latest version of Adobe and OSX does not work well together without a clean install; no migration.

  If this happens again, you can try to reinstall using the way complete three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist):

  (1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),

  (2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,
