  Hi all

  I'm on a Mac, and I'm just eager to replace the images by using the process of selection of the layer and then the Option by dragging the new images on the name of the layer. He has worked previously, but now in AE CS6, CC and CC 2014:

  1-if I have a shape layer, the new images moved causes an error "error effects: layer does not have a source." (26: 335) ("we see here: http://postimg.org/image/tyh38uuu5/).

  2. If I use a chart as the first layer and then replace it with another chart, it does not replace. He gets just added as a new layer.

  A lot of troubleshooting already... I've even went up to uninstall CC 2014 and then reinstall it, obviously without success. My Google-Fu can be low, I wasn't able to find a solution in this way. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

  User error (me). It is not currently possible to replace a shape with images layer.
  I was confused a shape layer with a solid (after the use of camera tracking).

  As to #2, above:

  He now works using the keyboard shortcut: Cmd, Opt, /.

  I add a text layer and then add my custom fill effect. Then I call AdvItemSuite1()-> PF_ForceRerender (in_data, & (params [0]-> u.ld)) of the CEAP for all layers. But only for the text layer, AE will appear a dialog box displays the following error message:

  Why is this happening? What other call can I use to render all the layers?

  text layers is really a source (as opposed to solids which do).

  any source operation you will do an a text layer will give an error.

  It goes the same for shape layers.

• exporting to IDML does not work

  I worked on two InDesign files a few months (especially of text, notes incl., a few tables, few images), without encountering any problems.

  Today ID has begun to behave oddly, what it crashes if (in the second of the two files) I change a style setting of character or delete certain pages. I can't explain why it happens suddenly, because I have not changed anything significant (no new plug-in, etc.) and, as I said, both files has worked flawlessly so far.

  I tried to export the file to IDML, but it does not work (InDesign quit unexpectedly). I did a trash preferences - it did not help either, that is not a simple Save As.

  At a loss now. Any help is greatly appreciated.

• Google Books does not not with the last 15 updated?

  I am unable to view pages on Google search of books, at least that I use plain text. The toolbar for the book look one also does not appear, well everything what does around it. It works very well with Google Chrome BTW.

  You can check for problems with preferences and try to delete the file prefs.js and user.js file possible to reset all of the prefs.

  Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

  There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "tools > Modules > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

  Try to double-click the font file.  That should open a window asking if you want to install it.

  But now when we export MDS of the Manager of the company to its only showing the customization by the user. Zip file does contain any customization of site level.

  We are sure that there is no level customization of site as any changes made by admin mode Ctrl + Shift + E is available for all users.

  Any suggestion why EM is not download site level customizations?

• InDesign DPS: Simple Animation does not work in 'folio '?

  I'm building a recipe simple app using InDesign CS6, using the tools of digital publication.

  On one page, I applied an animation, "fly from bottom" in the subject.

  When I finally build the folio and view it on my ipad with the Adobe Content Viewer, the animation does not work on this page.

  I looked at a few tutorials on the use of the animation tools, how to set the path, etc. but none of them mention any other measure for the animation to work once you build the folio.

  Am I missing something?

• InDesign trial download but does not open

  Hello.

  I have problems to download Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. I'm working on a Windows XP PC, I'm guessing that since 2004. Tried to download Illustrator via the Cloud. Tried to open the program; it loaded for a few minutes and then came up with the following message "this program has encountered a problem and needs to close. We apologize for any inconvenience. »

  Then downloaded InDesign without program helping - directly on the site. This also failed. I tried to remove the program and then download it again in a different location, but this did not help. I repeated this process several times, tried several different places, but no luck. The software will actually download, but does not open. When I try to download in the Adobe download window (for the download destination folder options), there is a yellow symbol with an exclamation mark next to "Adobe InDesign" and the file size will be.

  I thought there were not enough disk space, but even after that I tried to clear the space program did not open. I'm pretty certain disk space isn't the issue because my computer tells me that I have enough space to download InDesign.

  I also read somewhere that the reason why InDesign can not open, this is the printer default may not be connected. I have connected default printer, downloaded the program again and the problem was not corrected.

  I have also tried to download Adobe Photoshop and in the destination download folder, the yellow exclamation point symbol options does not appear. However, this program crashes too after I open it.   I have a book of FM 10 close to 200 pages and 7 chapters. It has a nice (markers).

  Today, I discovered that the index is not get updated when I update the book. New entries do not come.

  "Generate Table of contents, lists, and indexes" is selected by updating. And it was working fine before, this problem came a lot recently. I noticed today.

  When I try to generate a new index, the generated file is empty. Although the index entries in the book are very good, FM does not detect them.

• Flash Pro CS5 shows does not text when I test movie/export... only on the stage.

  Exactly what the subject says. I am a novice and regardless of how I export the thing (such as a picture or a movie and in any format), I can't see the text. It's particularly frustrating, because the text is the entire basis of my animation.

  Tried to convert text to clips, no difference. The weird part is, I could test the thing early on with no problem - text displayed and any. I should add: I have used SEVERAL fonts... and I think it was when things started does not.

  An answer to this would be greatly appreciated. I'm working on a deadline and if you know how to solve this problem, it would make a big difference in my life.

  EDIT: They are not unusual fonts - Helvetica, Times New Roman, etc.
