Cc of Lightroom export no noise reduction and sharpening changes

I have recently updated to Lightroom from 5.7 to CC, but can not get the noise reduction and sharpening of changes to export. The files are imported from a D7200 of Nikon NEF files. After you change the image, I can see the changes in library modules and put at the point, but not in the exported jpg file. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for posting the requested screen captures and ISO setting. You see more noise in the exported JPEG image file in the library and develop modules because you have output applied sharpening (sharpen: high screen). This is the case additional sharpening not present in the library modules and develop. ERGO: They will be different. Output sharpening should be used when reducing the size of the image with "Resize to Fit" checked. Each time an image is resized it loses the edge sharpness and output sharpening restores the details of contours in the small size file.

Follow the instructions in deepakgahlot provided in response #1 and ensure that the export module output sharpening > sharpening for: is not checked. If you still have questions please download one of the files on Dropbox image or other file sharing site and post the sharing link.

This is due to the high ISO 6400, long exposure and large amount of sharpening, as I have indicated on the site of Photoshop Lightroom bug reports.

To prove if this is really the cause see the image in two modules at the sight of 1:1. They now look the same? If so, you have your answer!

    (1) try to lower the detail 25 sharpening slider and the color detail slider to 50.

    (2) look at the image in 1:1 two modules to recreate the cache to develop and the library preview images. In each module wait LR to apply the new settings to the image.

    (3) now, look at the image to display 'Fit' in the two modules.

    (4) it is sometimes necessary to step #2 above twice (i.e. twice) to ensure that the point of view 'Fit' has new LR settings applied.

How to develop and the library view ' worthy' compare now?

  • Noise reduction, clarity and sharpness of Vs masking

Maybe I used too much clarity for the birds and noise reduction. Some recommend on dpReview, no noise reduction and now I tend to believe them. Recently, I tried using little to no noise reduction, little or no clarity, a lot of sharpness and about 40% of masking. This gives the details of good bird feather, and anything with less detail has little better bokeh and noise. In areas of low detail it seems to me that the masking reduced the noise caused by the sharpening, but it has less effect on the noise increased clarity. Is this true? If this is the case, birds, photography is better clarity used sparingly and selectively, as on the head?

Another reason for all of this, is that once I read even a little masking degrades the sharpness but now I doubt that. Maybe LR which has improved over the years.

    Thank you

    Doug

Reducing noise from luminance indeed (and the extended color noise reduction) tends to erase fine feather detail.

    I recommend:

    * lowered the noise reduction and if you are not using it, how the cursor nr.detail up crank - this will help maintain fine feather detail and is superior to sharpen detail to maintain details otherwise lost pen due to the reduction of noise.

    * a lowered sharpening in detail, to reduce noise and reduce the "need" to reduce the noise.

    * and sharpen masking to taste...

Also note: exactly 50 masks all global sharpening sharpening room and can therefore be used in conjunction with noise reduction to smooth bokeh areas.

And of course you can add sharpening or clarity locally too.

I know that I have not responded to your question perfectly as asked, but I don't know what to say, then...

  • Hearing (CC 2015.2) noise reduction does not

IM on an Apple running 10.11.6 and hearing CC 2015.2
recently, I have to obtain the reduction of noise at work at all without success. I work as usual by selecting an impression of noise, and then opening the noise reduction and I immediately get a massive pop. If I stop the preview and start it again I get the same thing. There is no preview adjustments either. any parameter there is no change in the preview. If I try and select noise only it isn't even a change.

If I apply the settings there isn't even a change even with more stringent parameters.

I have no idea what is going on here and I really want to use the tool.

    Thanks for any help. !

Well I took a risk and just blew the whole directory to ~ / Library/Preferences/Adobe/Audition/9.0.

  • Workflow for the level of volume reduction and speech

I'm working on the audio for my feature film of 2 hours. I don't have the option for ADR and I have many problems with the hum of the air conditioning and other noises, so I need to put in place the best workflow. I get conflicting information when I search the workflow. What is the best method of workflow. Should I first correct the volume of speech levels, volume and then match noise reduction and its carrier or vice versa. Also, when should I apply a multiband equalizer to remove 60 hz buzz and cut the upper and lower frequencies.

I use this blog as a guideline, but still a little uncertain. Improve the Production of Film Post workflow. BlogBlog VashiVisuals

Very new to audio editing, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It is not an answer quite right, but I'll tell you what I think about it, at least. You should ask yourself at least one big question before starting, and then perhaps things might become a bit clearer! And it is really good to have a plan.

The big question is this you're going to deal with everything that's been saved, or just taken you use? If you do the first, it will increase your workload a little, if it's like most of the shoots. Personally, I don't want to reduce the amount of treatment, so I'd be more inclined to limit what needs treatment, if possible.

Then I would go to reduce the noise basis first and also use the filter to reduce or eliminate hope that the buzz of 60 Hz. If the a/c noise is constant, this should only unravel. Do not touch the LF or HF cut again - this is an EQ option, not a clean one. I'd do the NR in addition to a passage, using different parameters of the FFT and not taking too much out in a go - we found that it always works better. When you are finished, other sounds that you want to delete will be more obvious and therefore easier for the sound mover identify if you need to go this route. When, and only when you have done this, you need to adjust the levels, and when you've done that you can change the EQ so that it can seem like you want. Roll-off Yes the PMQS by all means, but be careful with the HF - you will need may not go very far with that at all.

In general, the reason to go to the NR, and is first of all that it does what it is much easier to deal with - simply because that remains will be clearer.

  • no noise reduction after using the Brush tool or radial filter export!

This seems to be an old bug! Any solution to this problem?

    Kind regards

    Stefan

I see no difference between the opinion of develop and the JPG exported if sharpening and resizing are DISABLED and quality = 100.  A non-haute quality of might change the texture of the output so that it is what is different for you?  Perhaps you could show us a screenshot of your panel of the export settings.

Despite what has been said, there is no any Radial filters with zero NR.  With Todd of suggestion, I found that there are FIVE overlapping brushes adjustment, each with 100 = noise reduction.  I had to drag out to see how they were.  Unfortunately, it seems little matter how many brushes you add with NR = 100 the effect is the same, so they are not additive:

In my opinion, the problem you are having with the sky is that your main overall Luminance settings are not optimal.  The amount of Luminance is only 4, but the details of the Luminance set to 100, which causes a look crumpled in areas initially fine grain and this will not be smooth with an extra brush NR.

My suggestion would be to a higher overall amount of Lum, May 20 and one low light detail much more, maybe even zero.

    I love these parameters:

I put the NR = 0 for FOUR brushes five adjustment by disabling them efficiently and only adjusted the NR of those remaining at the original location, so these additional brushes could be removed:

I think that the general issue that you are experiencing, it is that you want to adjust your NR without using 100% or zoom 1:1, then things look much more flexible on reduced zoom who they really are.

  • The noise reduction works only on MAC Lightroom 5.4

I knew that the noise reduction that I apply to my photos is visible in the area of software development. I'm going to the library he disappears and the same thing happen if I export the image in any format.

Is there a way to fix this bug?

    Thank you.

View generally develop - Fit is more crisp than the library or export, when there was enough noise reduction added to an image to give the impression of sweetness, and people complain that sharpening is not applied; However, in this situation through extreme noise reduction settings, an artificial coarse replaced fine-grained noise that seems to manifest itself differently according to develop Fit, and the complaint is that the library has no NR applied.

More in detail, there are two questions here, both to the user, LR:

    (1) a user-hope that the No 1:1 to the point zoom is specific about the detailed settings.  It is not the case.  Years, there has been a warning of exclamation point on the detail settings section that says see things only to 1:1.  If a user doesn't see or ignores this warning and then their expectation wrong, as in this situation.

    (2) the detail of Luminance Noise reduction slider has been increased from the default value of 50 up to 100.  This has the effect of converting the sound of grain in an angular course texture, which is easily visible in reduced size except in the view to develop was inaccurate.

In the next-by-side to zoom 1:1, the left panel is according to the user settings with the Lum-NR-Detail slider to 100, while the right has the cursor Lum-NR-detail set at the default value of 50, with all other parameters of the user remains the same:

I would summarize what happens not as a bug but a different response from the develop-adjustment incorrect attended a different coarseness of the noise which is caused by an extreme environment of the Lum-NR-detail slider.  Since there is no resizing and not sharpness in export settings, I don't think that 1/3 bug has nothing to do with anything.

It would be nice for the original poster (OP) to describe exactly what is wrong, after knowing the view to develop it is accurate if not seen at the 1:1.

  • When I edit a .wav file (noise reduction to remove the background hiss) and save them, the changes are not saved.

I just installed hearing and have edited a few audio voiceover to remove the background hiss.  When I save the changes and reopen the file, the hiss is back.  The changes are not saved.  Why is this happening?  How to record the sound of the effects of reduction in my .wav file?

    shionak wrote:

I capture the background hissing noise footprint > click apply > click on select, then click on apply again.

These steps are not quite correct. You have two choices; either highlight a part of the background noise and use SHIFT + P, which captures your selection as a basis for NR or, open the Panel NR and use "Capture noise Print" from there, after making a selection first. After doing this, click on "select an entire file. What you definitely have to do is to use 'apply' at this point, and when use you it, just use it once.

When you capture using printed, the Preview 'play' button inside the plugin to check the settings and then stop it. When you are satisfied of what he done, then click on 'Apply' - but once. This will apply for all of your noise reduction. As long as you do not use "undo" at any time, the version Number will be be recorded on the original, or if you use "save under", then the original will be left alone, and a new noise-reduced version will be saved.

  • Asks the plugin noise reduction effect-made clip jerky and slow down after application?

I apply an effect - the neat video Plugin to reduce noise. for some reason when I apply the effect, playback of the clip is really slow and jerky. Why is this?

    Hi Dragonsfire,

I'm looking at the rendering time and it's extremely slow, like the clip is 30 secs long 2mins but render time estimate is like 3 hours! My laptop is not the fastest, but it is not no more ancient. Any suggestions on the reduction to make time-no understood them with a much more powerful computer!

You have met one of the intensive more rendered effects on the stage of post-production. Sorry if you think that something goes wrong. Likely, that's fine, except that it takes very long time to process images with that plugin.

Here are some tips on the neat video forum:

The real rendering for your clip speed should be around approximately 2 images per second. This value seems normal for a HD (1920 x 1080) image size and material to the average (you don't mention your hardware specifications). You can speed up a bit by disabling some of these filter options:

    • disable the very low freq, high quality options
    • some of the fixed noise reduction in some or all channels amounts (luminance / chrominance or Y/Cr/Cb) and/or ranges of frequency at 0%
    • reduction of the time filter RADIUS
    • disable the option of adaptive filtering

These measures allow the filter a little faster, but at the expense of the quality of filtration reduced. Noise reduction is usually a compromise between quality and processing speed. When you need good quality, it makes sense to give some time to the process with the top of the settings page. When that is not necessary, you can use a less accurate and more rapid filtration.

    Thank you

  • X 201 micro - quality and noise reduction

Hello. I was wondering if someone managed to make a reasonable use of microphones on the X 201 tablet. I don't know if I configure them or if they are simply poor quality, but the microphones seem to be horrible. When I turn off noise cancelling and echo cancellation, there is a humming sound important and crackled in the background. When I turn on the noise cancelling, it is totally impossible for the microphones to be used to record or transmit any intelligible voice, even if I yell.

In short, the pickups are almost useless for Skype and similar and of course completely useless for any sort of speech recognition applications.

Someone had a bit of luck in tweaking perhaps some special configuration settings that I'm not aware of? However, if the microphones are just fundamentally wrong, someone at - it recommendations for an extra helmet (preferably without wireless/bluetooth) microphone?

    Hey dm09,.

try to uninstall the audio drivers for your device.

Let windows install its generic drivers and test again.

    It made a difference?

Note that the version of the sound driver for the X 201 is at 3.66.147.0/4.95.48.50. If yours is not to this version update for this.

at the same time, do a full update of the system of your device.

  • Has anyone found at zero color noise reduction?

I rarely change the default color for 25 noise reduction setting.  Since the last update and installation almost simultaneously on a new computer, I find the color noise reduction setting to zero the number of files.  I can't guarantee that I did not it accidentally in the past, but certainly do not remember doing so.  And the color noise is visible in most of the images from scratch.  Has anyone else seen elsewhere?  Any ideas?

    Hi Bob Metzler,

It is based on the format of your images.

Lightroom sets the default value of noise reduction to 25 only for raw images.

Could you please check the format of your pictures that you have recently imported into Lightroom.

  • PSE10 (Luminance) noise reduction

is there a (Luminance) noise reduction in PSE10 similar to LightRoom 4 (or available as an add-on)?  I have a video clip of an hour old marriage.  I have fixed a few individual images using LR4 and they look great.  I would like to apply the same settings to the full video.

It seems to me that Premiere Elements has nothing to do with your question.

All your work seem to imply Photoshop Elements 10 and Lightroom 4 (and its video features), not any version of Premiere Elements.

I noticed today that when I noise reduction in the develop module, the changes are not be represented on the image, I work with, except in the top left hand corner... too small for me to see clearly.  But when I go to the library module, the changes actually took place.  If anyone has experienced this?  I need a fix because it's a bad guessing game my slider without seeing results until I have the switch modules.  Have not had this problem before. No dysfunction, no override.  There has been a lot of discussion on this and it is possible in a future version that will add a preference or other corrective action can be taken, but for the moment, just use library or more large image sizes.  In reality, it is always better to judge sharpening and noise reduction to 1:1.

  • Question output noise reduction

Whenever I have apply the noise reduction in LR3 Beta 2, the settings will be displayed in the preview area in LR, but as soon as I export to JPEG, the treatment disappear.  It only occurs with noise reduction - all other treatments remains on the image.  Any help?

I understand the confusion. This is a gap in low resolution

displays that requires a lower resolution image must be

generated to show you a preview. Lightroom 3 tries to give you a

an extract which is quite accurate in using subpixel rendering, but

Lightroom 2 gives you an overview particularly badly to develop which is

a side effect of the way the preview is generated. He uses a much lower

resolution interpolated to the version of the image display resolution

for reasons of speed in the zoomed-out view. Often, this shows you

more noise is actually there because you don't get the average

of pixels you should get when zoom you back. Sometimes, however, as

in your case, it shows you actually less noise than is really there.

Both are objects of art of the choices made. Only when you zoom

1:1 will actually receive you a correct rendering of the image taking everything

the parameters of development into account.
