  When you start the download of the CC of Photoshop, a window appears with CC Desktop App to send the download.   I'm trying to put a black layer mask and use Eraser tool to change.  Unfortunately the Eraser tool does not.  I'm not knowingly do anything differently that I did in the past.  Recently, I did a round of software updates for CS6.  I was wondering if anyone else is experienceing this and if there is a solution?

  Verify that the in the Toolbox foreground color is set to black. (in front of when using the Brush tool)

  Press D, and then press the X key.

  And opacity and flow are 100%.

  Most people use the brush on the layer masks and you might find that works better.

  I enabled CC Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop on my Windows laptop and it works well. As I understand it, I can also install this on a second computer, Mac or Windows.

  I downloaded it on my MacBook, but it only shows as a testing facility. I signed (off) CC Photoshop and Lightroom CC on my Windows laptop and tried to activate it on my MacBook, but nothing helped. There only appear as a trial version on my MacBook. When signing on my MacBook, I get a screen that says trial Photoshop CC with the options "Join Now", "license this software ' or 'proceed with the trial. Ask that this software license serial number, which I have not received.

  Can someone tell me please how to fix this?

  Anyone having problems with black and white squares, launch Bridge and go in Camera Raw preferences and at the bottom of the window make sure 'use graphics processor' is DISABLED.

  This is a temporary work around, but it's going to at least squares disappear.

  You must disable the installation first - that by opening one of the programs and then click on help-> Deactivate

  So, I chatted with the adobe customer service and apparently the CC extensions Manager cannot accept CC Photoshop more. Bad news...

• Photoshop does not like photoshop extended

  I am using windows 7 64 bit with 8 MB of memory

  I bought a subscriptoin to photoshop, but shortly thereafter realized I would have been better with creative cloud. I cancelled my subscription to photoshop, a subscription (student and teacher) cc, but now photoshop does not load as the long version.

  I spent two hours last week with specialists of cat in line, but we were able to solve the problem.

  Finally, I deleted all the products from cloud, used the tool cleaning, restarted and when I loaded photoshop, once again, the same thing happened. Photoshop tells me that I have a few days before my subscription expires, so I guess that photoshop that keeps its loading is the initial subscription.

  I tried to disable photoshop but I get error 194:3.

  I am completely and totally stuck and do not want to spend another 2 hours on the chatline to the customer service!

  I think that this has been resolved. Finally, the original subscriptoin missed and I was asked to sign again to validate.

  The answer to your question depends entirely on what camera Canon photo come from your CR2 files.

  CR2 is the file used by Canon Camera Raw owner format. CR2 files are different for each camera model which is Canon. As a result, Adobe has update the mounting bracket in the Camera Raw plugin whenever camera manufacturers release a new model of camera.

  Different versions of Camera Raw are supported by different versions of Photoshop.

  It is likely that your plugin needs version of Photoshop Camera Raw updated via help > updates.

  I just replaced my 9.5 Raw camera with Camera Raw 9.4, from this page:

  PS. along the way, I installed Camera Raw 8.3 (manual drag-and - déposer), in response to advice on a pretty old thread, and that worked as well.
