  I have created a form in LiveCycle. I need to have the data exported to a txt file. Previously, I've created a form in Word and it imported in LC. If this form has been filled out in Adobe and saved, I was able to export the data in a txt file. The form I'm working on now that I created in LC (instead of Word). When I fill the form in Adobe, save and then choose export to txt file, no data export. I have attached two forms: one that works (Unit_5_Preparate) and one that does not (assessment_template_test).

  It was a learning experience (no pun intended).

  If the LC Designer form is saved as 'static' then you will be able to export the data to a text file. If the form is saved as 'dynamic' then you won't be able to export to text file.

  Nope... .the data are only meant to contain a single value (the one that the user selected).

There are many resources available that explain how to put the data in oracle forms in the excel sheet, but I can't find a single resource to achieve this functionality.   There is little documentation available through My Oracle Support, which shows how to read an Excel file in a form, but you need a support contract with Oracle to access the document (how to read data from an EXCEL worksheet in a form using WebUtil Client_OLE2 [813535.1 ID]).

  I've seen this issue come up in the forum from time to time, so I wrote a small form demo which illustrates playback in Excel in a form. Discover forms: how to read an Excel file in a form. This demonstration uses the WebUtil library, so you must make sure have WebUtil correctly configured in the Forms Designer, as well as on your application server.

  When you try to use mini bridge CS6 ID, I can't view the folders. I can watch disks, and places like desktop, but it will only find individual image files and cannot find any records. Like most of my assest in folders, it's extremely frustrating. I remember not having CS5 does not this problem. Is there a preference or a setting I am missing, or is - how Adobe always 'enhances' their products when they update.

  It s a bug on the class MultipartFormHandler of the Trinity - impl.jar. You can download the sources of trinidad-impl (trinidad-impl - 2.0.0 - sources.jar.zip) and replace the following code to the _parseBoundary method:

  This is not what I see here. When exporting files from XML data, and when these are then merged into a spreadsheet, all objects on the Master Page (with Binding Global) are in the spreadsheet with their data intact.

  I'm trying to remove some of the ISO in our data store to free up space.  Some of them we were able to remove without problem, there are a few that will not a reason delete, it goes through the process, as it's deletion then when it is at 80% on the status bar, a message "cannot delete the file ISOs/resources 2 k 5" ideas how I can get rid of this folder?  The folder is not empty, I tried to delete the file first, then the file and get the same error twice.

  Each instance of the repeating line will have its own set of columns in the worksheet. So if one of the returned forms had five instances of the repeating line, then the spreadsheet merged would have five sets of columns. When one of the returns had only a single instance, then it can only contain data in the first set of columns in the worksheet.

  First of all.  What is your version of forms (for example: 11.1.2.2.0 not 11g).  Finally, who will use the .csv file?  If it is a user on their client computer - CLIENT_TEXT_IO TEXT_IO or WebUtil are standard packages used to export data to a file of Oracle Forms.

  The amount of data to be exported?  If you export only a couple hundred lines - export of Froms will be OK.  If you export more lines than that (300 + lines) then the export will be extremely slow to your username.  Keep in mind that forms is not designed to perform data exports - there are better tools available for this...
