Celsius to Fahrenheit waveforms

Hey everybody,

Come to the due date for any project in my University.  Do some settings final in Vi we have developed and added additional features...

The idea:

Currently, our Vi part shows a temperature reading from a remote sensing node.  Such, it currently reads the temperature in degrees Celsius and plots the data on a waveform.  We want to implement the feature in order to have a button to push that would turn the output in degrees Fahrenheit...

I am using a Boolean button which will be entering a business structure selector.  A case (true) will perform the conversion from C to F.  The other case (false) will do nothing and leave the data as it is in degrees Celsius.  Pretty simple concept...

Part,: I'm puzzled:

As I said, we can also plot the data on a chart in addition to displaying digital playback.  If we implement this button, it will also change our waveform chart to display the data correctly.  Our current varies from waveform from 0 degrees to 60 degrees Celsius.  Conversion in degrees Fahrenheit would put more than probably the value outside of this range...

Is there a way to change the axes of waveform according to press button as well?

I was also thought to have possibly two graphics - the two stacked one on the other.  Once the key has been pressed, the graphic Celsius would become hidden, exposing graphic cargo located behind it.  Do not know how to add this feature if...

I wrote this up pretty fast and I'm rather sleep of cramming for the end of the crisis of the semester here.  I'll check if I need to clarify anything back in the morning.

Any advice or ideas are greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hmm, well check this pic attaced - it's going to help a little bit maybe.

Kind regards!

  • Simple calculations is not not so simple (Fahrenheit to Celsius)

    CS3

I don't often get to the math class but have tried to refresh some practice lately and I'm lost.

I did a small calculator, but he does not have the correct value. My Celsius to Fahrenheit works fine but not the opposite. Flash I want to just give me a negative value.

To complicate further although it should not be, that is I have an input field where to enter value then I want to be converted. The text is num1 here is a short part of the code:

    Celsius to Fahrenheit that works very well: (entry 1) - 32 5;

    Fahrenheit to Celsius, that is not the math right: input (1)-32 * 5/9;

I read a few posts, but it took hours and the forums are left and right expire this morning. I read that I should put it as follows: ((100-32) * 5/9). That works very well but for 100 or a specific value is not of any value, and I can't seem to read my string in this format ((input1-32) * 5/9)

I tried parseInt, I convert toString etc, but now my code is 10 x more time that I started just get this simple calculation to work and nothing so far.

Also what I consider to be the biggest problem, is where in the help he learns one they must follow the ' ((100-32) * 5/9) "rule? I have read everything I can find in the help all morning and not once saw something like that. It works of course, but obviously I'm looking in the wrong place to begin with or search Help index dislikes me and in both cases not being not able to find what I'm looking for is a problem that any issue could cause never.

    This

    fcRes is parseInt (input1) - 32 * 5/9;.

stll is incorrect. It is supposed to be:

    fcRes = (int (input1) - 32) * 5/9;

Calculations in parentheses are done first. If there is no media - multiplication and subtraction are done first, and then the result is subtracted from the input numeric value 1.

Yes, El Capitan is nice, but we could get before opinion delete just good useful applications...

    HI there MagicM.

So you're looking for the dashboard or the Launchpad for quick access of the Widgets or applications. If you're talking about the scoreboard which was a separate space in previous versions of Mac OS X, you may need to activate in your system preferences. The keyboard shortcut for it's F12 when activated:

OS X El Capitan: Get info Express with dashboard

If you're talking about the dashboard, check out the info in the following article:

OS X El Capitan: use Launchpad display and open applications

Dashboard does not have a shortcut by default, but you can certainly be set in system preferences > keyboard > shortcuts > Launchpad & Dock > show Launchpad. I have done this and characterized by the F4 key and it worked perfectly.

OS X El Capitan: use global keyboard shortcuts

    1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click keyboard, and then click shortcut.

    2. Select the action in the list you want to change.

    3. Double-click the current shortcut, and then press the new key combination to use.

You cannot use each type of key (for example, a letter) more than once in a combination of keys.

    4. Quit and then restart all the apps that you use for the new keyboard shortcut to take effect.

If you assign a keyboard shortcut that already exists for another command or another application, your new shortcut won't work. Find the menu command that he uses, and then reassign the keyboard shortcut for this element.

To disable a shortcut, uncheck the box next to its description in the list.

If you want to return their original combinations of all the shortcuts, click default settings.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, let us know how it goes!

  • Vista stops in game

Hi.Have problems with gaming.Computer stops in game. The weird part is that it stops sometimes and sometimes not. After I cleaned the computer of dust, I played 10 minutes and stop it again. Help, please

    * original title - close all playing / dust cleaning did not help (help) *.

    Human salvation to help,

Please make sure that your video card drivers are up to date:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

Also, please see the troubleshooting following thanks Gloria - Support Engineer:

What kind of temp monitor do you use? Is that reading in Celsius or Fahrenheit? And what is that playback - the CPU, the memory, the card graph, or everything just the enclosure? Let me know because this certainly looks like a heat problem. It is much more difficult to clean the case on a laptop to a desktop computer, so if you're not a true computer person then you should probably take it to a qualified technician of looking at it. That case should probably not be open and blown out with canned air and if you have a good tech that you trust, the CPU thermal paste re-applied, it can dry and disintegrate over time.

The only other thing that I think that this would be a failed power would then you will want to check the supply voltage. You can download a program, like the temp monitor to control tensions. Make sure that your 12V rail will not too high - I have seen that on a computer of heat.
    I hope this helps!

  • PC restarts only when playing games :(

I was faced with this situation like 2 months ago and I think its gpu overheating I checked the temperature is 95 + the BCCode is 113

    And my features are

    Windows 7 Professional x 64 bit

    2 GB of Ram [1 x 1]

NVIDIA 8400GS 1 GB [I know its really old, but there's a solution to solve this]

Intel E7500 2.93 Ghz Core Duo

Power supply - 450 Watt [I usually before 300 that I upgraded to 450 thinking he could fix but didn't]

So pls help and answer the question, I hope you know these problems

Yes - we know these problems.

95 + what... (Too hot) Celsius or Fahrenheit (not too hot).

To do this, then we can see what you have and eventually eliminate the cycles of message:

Click on the button/ORB start in the lower left corner of your screen. Or, press the button of your keyboard Windows logo.

    In the type box:

    Msinfo32

Select / click msinfo32.exe and the system information dialog box opens.

Click System summary, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and then paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.

For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) feedback here.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.

In case it is NOT a temperature related problem you must configure your system to generate a dump of crash for analysis file so anyone can analyze the result.

    Here's how:

On your desktop right click on advanced computer, system settings properties and make them look like this:

There is no need to create the Minidump folder as window will create one if it takes.

Then click OK, enough times to close all dialog boxes and restart your system for the changes to take effect.  After that restart, you can go back and check the new settings to make sure the adjustments 'stick '.

There are a lot of temp monitoring programs.

Some people like the free version of Speccy you can download here:

    https://www.Piriform.com/Speccy

A good thing is when you launch it, then cut it, it will continue to show you the temp in the Windows System Tray/Notification area near the clock:

Take note of the temperature when you are not playing games, so you can have a base line.

Then play your game and see if you can recreate the problem of crash while monitoring the temp to see how hot things get before the crash (may take once or twice).

  • User settings

    Hello.

What is the best way to go on the record of the user for my application settings? What tools are available for this?

Is there a place by default to save the settings of the user? When I say settings is options which can be displayed/hidden from in my application (things like degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, ON OFF). What controls are good for that?

    Thanks in advance.

I still a hash table in the PersistentStore.

It gives me a key/value pairing of things like:

    UserID = foobar

    option = yes

    ... etc.

In my humble OPINION, it's the best way to accomplish your task.  You just need to write a little wrapper class that loads the hash table and exposes methods such as getValueAsInt (key), or getValueAsStgring (key), etc.

  • Using SWC

    Hello

I have a simple CFC that is defined as such. And named ct.cfc

    < cfproperty >
<!-Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion method. ->
    < name cffunction = output "ctof" = "false" >
    < cfargument = "temp" required = "Yes" name type 'number' = >
    < cfreturn ((temp*9)/5) + 32 >
    < / cffunction >
    < / cfproperty >

Then I have a .cfm file named test.cfm and the cfc file and the cfm file are in the same directory. The test.cfm file is below:

    < ! DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional / / IN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd" > ""
    < html >
    < head >

    obj1 = createObject ("component", "ct");
    obj1.ctof (temp = 100);
    < / cfscript >

    < / body >
    < / html >

I can't understand how to print the output of obj1 on-screen. I tried obj1.temp and it does not work. Also, all of the code above does not throw an error. It's only when I try to cfoutput the value that I meet problems. So, how do I print the value? It should be 212.

    Thank you

    Jim

    Use it as an example.

then later I was say 200 lines:

    #x #.

    A: right, while it is

then later I was say 200 lines:

    #x #.

What you trying to do? Who will define the variable 'x' to be a copy of the value returned by the method of your PPC. You can then repeatedly use variable said without actually running again the method.

  • OT: How to boil water

QUESTION: How can a boil water?

As I woke up this morning a glorious remains filled with dreams of adventures of swagger and triumphs of the oratory that it dawned on me that maybe about to boil water advisories guidance are in order.
I sympathize with those who may not be sure of the intricacies involved in the execution of this task, but I assure you it is not so difficult that you have been led to believe by others in this forum who seek only when monetary gain these questions.

Being the teacher reluctant and moderator of all in this forum, I enjoy myself and my knowledge to this troop under par of its inhabitants who walked through daily life, yet understand the blessing conferred to them by the access to my keen perspective and source of knowledge.

I go out of my way to explain in order to help, because surely the water where you live would require boiling to consume safely. Fear not, I do not fun or insinuate that live you in a lower area on the social totem pole which I am familiar and have flourished, a lesser and more dirty existence than me, but what about kinder, I'm just looking to help.

As the crescendo builds and develops its peak you expect my instructions, I remember the Magna Carta Libertatum (great Charter of freedoms), originally published in the year 1215. The Magna Carta required King John of England to proclaim certain rights (pertaining to the nobles and barons), to respect certain legal procedures and accept that his will could be bound by law.
I'm afraid that many of you will not understand the relevance of the Magna Carta in regards to menial tasks at hand. The shifting, restless State of water molecules as they begin the transition from liquid to steam. Trust me, even if beyond of your limited scope of reasoning, it was truth.

Don't worry, I understand the ramifications and know in my heart of hearts that you are best served by my sharing. Unfortunately, I do not know if my attempt to educate may have fallen on deaf ears. The ears of those who are so blinded in their tradition as to reject the ranting of all new to this pool. Unfortunately, I was hooked and if I whipped valiantly, I am taken to the trap.
I have indeed been attacked unceremoniously and suffered a lot.
However, for my own your self will be true, I make their way forward through the barriers you put it to me in order to remain isolated and misinformed.
Yet here, Laertes! On board, on the Board of shame!
The wind is located in the shoulder of your sail,
And you are stay was for.
    There... my blessing with you!

Unfortunately, I just started what will surely be a long thread. A dangerous business for me, and I'm ready to move stealthily but the forest of your remarks. Intention in the goal and neglected far all the attackers, as my cause is just.
It's not my fault that I couldn't give you directions for boiling water, pure and simple.
    It takes more than that.
A certain word building and rhyme to help those of you less in stature understand completely.
It is my duty, my vocation, to guide you.

Alas, dear friends, I have to retreat to the adventure more joyful.
    Don't worry, I won't abandon you.
I promise you a final of Grand proportions, where you will receive the knowledge promised in the title of this thread. I look forward to your applause.
