  Hello, I have windows vista family premium and Im trying to use my windows media center. I don't use it often, but now Im trying to add the Extender for my xbox 360. • Television channels in Media Center double in the guide

  This seems to be a common problem but I and many others don't seem to have a solution.

  I disable duplicate them the layers that do not work but a day or two later, they come back.

  I am in England and I put the post code of the transmitter that I am supposed to receive my tv. I have erased the Max and reread my tuner. Which none cure the problem.

  There should be a code added to the media center, which will focus on the channel list and remove those who do not have any signal. This isn't a real solution as some duplicate channels do not work. So what code that remembers what channels you have disabled?

  What else can I do to fix this? I'm getting really cheesed to disable 50 channels every day.

  Sorry if I have posted in the wrong place, it can't see a Media Center option to publish under.

  I have an internal TV Tuner that has been installed by HP, when I bought recently a "computer build-your-own." (According to the control panel Device Manager, my tuner is a Win TV HVR 1290, made by Hauppauge). The computer came with Windows 7. While installing Windows Media Center, after setting up the TV Signal (on channel 3) I am able to see a video thumbnail on my computer screen. I am also able to change the channel using my remote control U-Verse (not the Windows remote control supplied with the computer). So far so good! I then hit next and get the following message: "Windows Media Center cannot detect the IR control cables, which are necessary to control the set-top box. Fixing parts IR that supports the IR control cables and then try again. IR HARDWARE NOT FOUND ".  After you receive this message, the installation procedure is completed. I called HP that support intalled the tuner. They had not the slightest idea what to do. I then called Hauppage customer (manufacturer of TV Tuner). They said that I need to plug one end of the IR Blaster cable that shipped with the computer in a slot in the back of my computer (they told me which slot). They said so to run the IR all the way cable to my cable box and the other end of the cable to my cable box of band. They said it was necessary to be able to use my Microsoft Remote to instruct the box to change channels (cable IR stuck on the box). I told her that I did not use the Microsoft Remote, I could change the channel with my U-verse remote (that I preferred to use anyway). He said that it took the cable on the band decoder in order to remove the error message and the installation of Windows Media Center. I then called U-Verse technical adapter who informed me of their set-top boxes (made by Cisco Systems) do not have the ability to receive signals IR IR Blaster cable (or any othe IR signal source). Microsoft is apparently not understand how U-Verse set-top boxes are designed to work and sells a product incompatible remote control/IR.   Hi, I had the time of IR not detected in Windows 7 Ultimate with a TV wonder 650 card and a box of digital adapter from Verizon for my PC... Go on the road to installation and after the Media Center channel search, choose manual configuration. Choose the aerial signal (I aso picked after this analog) l.   I am new to vCenter Server, so you can assume that I'm missing something obvious.

  I installed vCenter Server 5.5 and one of the two hosts of re-usable ESXi 5.0.0 connected correctly. When I try to connect to the second 5.0.0 ESXi host, I get the error message:

  I Googled it and found what I think are the best answers that are successful, but they all seem pretty unique in their situation (they have a cluster, I do not have) etc. Some solutions involve disconnecting the store of data and reconstruction of things. I would not make things worse and can live without doubt with the help of vSphere client (and not the web client) until maybe I can start again with a 5.5 installation to a new host once I have back up everything from the host unconnectable. I closed all the VM on the host of the second. I have put in maintenance mode. I've renamed the data store, all to nothing does not.

• The fastest way to remove a sparsebundle on a Time Capsule with two top backups

  I have a time Capsule 2 TB that I currently use to save an iMac and a MacBook Pro.  I recently bought a new iMac and I decided to go back on this new computer. I moved all the files I need and installed all the apps that I used on the other.  After spending a day and a half, make a backup of the sparsebundle on my old iMac (just in case), I am now ready to get rid of this sparsebundle out of my Time Capsule, so I can start back up my new iMac to it.

  Because I also backup my MBP on it, erasing everything simply is not an option at this point. I need to be able to just remove this a sparsebundle, which, of course, must be huge... I think that it is about 890 concerts at this stage.

  I have been looking online for the best way to delete the sparsebundle, but don't know which method is the best and most of the answers are from 2011 or 2012, so I want to be sure there is not something new, I should try.

  Here are the options that I've seen, and I hope someone can point me to one that suits, or give me another suggestion. If it happens that the best, it takes days to complete, so be it, but it would be good to know that the time goes in.

  1. Change the extension of the sparsebundle and then delete this file. This seems little risk to me, but maybe I'm overthinking it. One person said they changed from iMacbackup.sparsebundle to just iMacbackup.s and was able to remove it.  It would actually remove faster? Do not change the size, so I don't know how it works.
  2. Mount the sparsebundle by using the IP address and then delete the sparsebundle like that. This was part of a post that said in fact the best way to remove first had to access it through Windows Explorer, and then delete it. This isn't an option for me, so in the comments I post, I saw someone say to connect via SMB and delete this one. Someone said he worked within a minute for them, but I see not a lot more answers.
  3. Display content of the sparsebundle, then delete the contents of the folder-Band 5, 000-8, 000 at the same time. I just watched showed a guy do that but it took something like 4 days to remove them, and he had to reload between each 5 000 videos a YouTube it deleted. Currently I have about 102 000 items in my folder of bands, so if it takes a day to remove 10,000 of them (according to, I'm looking for both ridiculously long to remove these.)

  Alternative suggestions that someone has more would be welcome.  I just want to be able to get this old one deleted and start backup to my new one, without losing my MBP backup.

• When adding new events to the calendar for Thunderbird lighting plugin, the application refreshes and removes recently added events.

  I have three calendars ICS (network) in lightning. All have offline support checked in the settings.
  Yesterday I opened TB and lightning to find all events that I had entered disappeared (there for a split second then it regenerated).

  My Calendars online are in the electronics/Pim 'Horde' mail system provided by my Web host.

  I tried several tests and disabled the Auto-Refresh feature (a solution proposed by another article), however the entries created in lightning disappear spontaneously. However, these events that I create in the online version of the calendar persist. So it would seem that they never actually get downloaded (synchronized) in the online master calendar.

  I use ICS as the online master calendar access method.

  Any help solving this would be appreciated, otherwise I'll have to remove the light and find a replacement.

  ICS is a file format and are not really suitable for a network schedule. Apple cannot do anything more than read only works on their Ical calendars and for reading writing recommend CalDav. Horde maybe has a similar problem.

  Their web site, I noticed that they support CalDav. This is a calendar designed from scratch like this network protocol.

• I deleted the pictures twice in iPhotos and iCloud. The photos have been removed from books I've done this year.

  I do a book every year for my mother.  I did five or six, and this year was the only time that I had no problem.  I had duplicate an image to use it a second time in the book.  The book is very good.  It is listed under projects and saved in pdf format. After that I bought a book (by means of projects) for each Member of the family, I settled remove all duplicates created in iPhoto and stored on the cloud.  I deleted all but one of each photo (in some cases, there was 8-12 duplicates!)    When I went back to work in the projects, the pictures were also removed it.  They are always correct in the PDF but I can't buy a book through this version.  I start two books and you're wondering how to avoid any duplicates with these books.  It wasn't the situation of last year.

  Any changes made with the web developer tool will save and should be cleared when the page is reloaded.

  Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

  iTunes can create duplicates if the same content is added several times from outside the media folder when it is about to make copies of everything that is added to the library, or is added from an external drive that hosts the press kit that was disconnected during the launch of iTunes.
