Center popups

Is there a way to Center a popup LV? If I run the vi that has a pop-up message in it it will appear in the upper right of the screen every time. Don't you Center the message?

Also, if I put the buttons of the menu, or a string (as a control to display a message say) tell how to appear in the center of my vi? If I close the w vi control buttons or chain off the screen when the vi runs the buttons/string control are off the screen where I "left".

Thank you...

If this "popup" is your own dialog type VI, obtained at the VI properties and set the position of the run time centered.

    After a start of moments that we are beginning to look very happy.

    1 minute - BAM - "Windows Update is ready to restart your computer, restart now or postpone" (it was in the style of Media Center popup)

    Configure the auto update according to your choice as described in the following article: -.

    How to configure and use automatic updates in Windows

  • Unable to connect to the Update Center

    I just finished my fifth unsuccessful attempt to install jdeveloper 11.1.1.4 on a laptop from scratch. I already had a 11.1.1.3 installation and work of the need to upgrade to 11.1.1.4 to align with the SOA server I have deploy across the network.

    I removed 11.1.1.3 and 11.1.1.4 facilities (via windows install/uninstall program, and then manually deleting directories that they were in), and then try to reinstall several times, remove after each unsuccessful attempt).

    My problem is when I try to install the extension of SOA. After the initial installation of the software in JDeveloper, I'm going to "Help"-> "check for updates... ».
    Rather than see a list of locations to update I get a popup on top of the Update Center popup, which claims that it is:

    Unable to connect to the internet to check updates.

    If you are behind a firewall or use a proxy to access web pages, check your settings of proxy below and click OK to try again.

    Normally, I use a url of proxy auto to manage my access to the proxy for that so I'm VPN would be in my company or not, Firefox handles my access network correctly. Because it is not an option in the context menu, I found a proxy host and tried to use it while I was VPN in. That has not helped - I tested the proxy of the popup and it failed. I Redid the installation 2 - 3 times while only had in VPN, then abandoned.

    So I uninstalled everything, disconnected VPN and did another fresh install. There is also no in the same way (Nothing in the center of update list and I got the same error popup).

    It's a mystery all that JDeveloper is really doing. It makes me crazy when the software works not seamlessly like this. I don't see what it is really doing, and the error message is useless or worse. (Why is she even suggesting that I provided a proxy when I'm straight on the internet. Why didn't he just tell me what he's trying to do, and, if I can fix it). I have a fine Internet connection that works for everything else.

    I know JDeveloper is still caching configuration information (my two projects appear in the list of applications), and so I guess that's also implementing caching some old login information that it does not show me. But I find no visible which erase and start over.

    Anyone know how to get JDeveloper to just try to connect directly to find update centers after that he cooked the old way to do it in a file somewhere hidden?

    Thank you

    Hello
    If JDeveloper is installed successfully, then you are good to go. Come to the addition of Extensions for SOA, BPM etc, you can do this either online (directly and update the Oracle site) or offline also. Average offline, first download the corresponding ZIP extension files for your version of 11.4 JDev as a composite model soa, bpm, Publisher etc. Then click on help-> Check For Update-> ignores errors or the pop-up windows and cancel-> them on the screen main down check the box named "install local file". Here browse and select a zip file at a time and move forward.

    http://www.Oracle.com/ocom/groups/public/@OTN/documents/WEBCONTENT/156082.XML#Oracle.BPM.fusion.Studio (Oracle BPM Studio-> 11.4)

    For SOA/BPM, simply just above 2 extensions.

  • Windows Defender can submit files, but don't tell me why / if they are malicious.

    Hello. In a first step, here are some details about the system I'm working with: it's running Windows 7 Professional, protected by NOD32 v4 antivirus with Windows Defender running in real time. Each week, I scan with Malwarebytes Antimalware. I use Opera 10.1 for webbrowsing and generally move away from javascript. I haven't downloaded or manually installed all the software in weeks. Only the automatic updates were executed for various programs. It's one of these programs I run steam.
    A few days ago, when automatic steam updated, something very strange happened. While Steam was Patching itself, it generates a process called SteamServiceTmp.exe. I saw this happen in the past several times (I looked in Process Explorer), so I don't think much at all. Steam updates all the time. However, this time for some reason a Windows Action Center popup balloon popped up with a red X and said he wanted to send SteamServiceTmp.exe to Microsoft. The exact wording of the message balloon has been "review files that Windows Defender will send to Microsoft (Important). I was a bit panicked, because I didn't know what was going on. ŒIL blink saw nothing, and defender was as if SteamServiceTmp was a piece of malware. Unfortunately, Defender not really said anything explicit. I checked the logs for Defender and quarantine, but found nothing. Only, I could find evidence that something happened when I checked the system event viewer. The logs in Event Viewer are calling it a "AVsubmission."
    In recent days this has happened twice. Once after an update to Adobe Flash player, I downloaded directly from their site, and once when you play a game to steam SteamOverlayUI.exe. As far as I know, each of these files came back clean. VirusTotal.com can't find something wrong with the files, NOD 32 is not catching whatever it is, and MalwareBytes Antimalware doesn't work, either. Here again, I've never seen Windows Defender act like that, or start sending files so ambitiously without offering an explanation why, so I am very worried that something malicious. In addition, I'm hesitant to think that it was a false positive in all. If this was the case, then EVERYONE who runs the steam and Windows Defender (not bad people!) would have seen it! I seem to be the only one I can find.
    Is there a way I can understand what happened here and a way to make sure my system is safe? I can't find reason to believe that these normally run malicious files, but I can't "sees no reason that Defender would be entering and submitting otherwise.

    Suggestions:

    To explain this, it is not an infection of file warning, it was a suspicious file warning.

    MSE did something similar, except that it came with a popup "this file is suspicious please send to Microsoft for inspection" and you click on send, it was.

    This means that the triggered some heuristic points, but not enough to classify it as a threat.

    I believe that this has already been fixed, probably millions of users who would be subject to the same file.

    Released December 14, 2009 virus definition classifies it as Trojan horse.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/portal/threat/encyclopedia/entry.aspx?name=PWS%3aWin32%2fSteam.B&ThreatID=-2147370721

    Still, Microsoft!

    My mistake, the Trojan report is for Win32/Steam.B. But you can trust me on my rest of post.

  • How do Center you a title window which is a PopUp?

    How do Center you a title window which is a PopUp on the screen?

  • Center a PopUp window title?

    How do Center you a popup window title when it is larger than its parent display object?

    Thank you
    George

    If your global application is more complicated, and you want pop ups to appear (possible) of several instances of the other components, you can watch in the ViewHelper/ViewLocator of Caringorm model.

    http://labs.Adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Cairngorm

    It would be a good initiative to implement that if things have the potential to become complex.

    A simple solution would be to keep a static variable in your root component that you can reference other components when creating your PopUps centered.

    Then, do something like:

    [PopUpRoot.mxml]

    Initialize = "{PopUpRoot.View = this.document}" > "

    public static var object: view = null;
    ]]>

    Then, when you call PopUpManager.createPopUp () from anywhere in your application, put it:

    PopUpManager.createPopUp (PopUpRoot.view as DisplayObject, MyPopUpClass);

    FYI, you can call PopUpManger.centrePopUp (this) in the event creationComplete of the MyPopUpClass handler.

  • turn off popup and Center photo

    Hello!

    I created my own pop-up message and I want an activation/deactivation as the express pop-up message option.

    I made a deal that include everything in my VI but the window is still flashes when it is false (disabled), and what I want is for does not display when she set on disable.

    My second question, I have an image to display and I would like to center the image in the "PictureDisplay" area, is there a way to do it?

    You can find my VI as an attachment.

    Thank you guys.

    For the first question

    You have to uncheck "see the front when it is called.

    In VI, you open the front panel only when the control turn on? is set to true.

    Your previous code with a little modification

    You close the front panel.

    For the second question

    I do not see a before straigt to center the image in the image control.

    (a) create an image with the same colour of the façade and lets you draw flattened Pixmap.vi insert your picture (from file) including the desired coordinates (change the coordinates of the rectangle).

    or (b) adjust size of the image display to the size of the image and focus the image display in the pane.
