centering the image gradients

Greetings

They made me an offer I couldn't refuse!

I am now the new owner of PS CS5...

One thing I want to do is to at the Center radial and degraded tapered to the image, instead of having it defined between two mouse clicks

If there is no way to do it here, then what is the best way to click on the center of the death of the image (a square)?

see you soon

Craig D.S.

Howdy.

If you select controls show to turn into the move tool, the Center will be indicated when the move tool is active. You can mark with guides.

However, if instead of using the gradient tool, you apply the gradient using a release layer a radial gradient, will be automatically placed in the center of your square. No mouse or involved guides. It is quite in the dialog box.

If you click on the set button highlight at the bottom of the Palette layers in the screenshot, you will get a menu. Select the gradient. You get the dialog at the bottom of the screenshot. Select Radial, ICT align with the layer. The gradient will be centered on the layer. Then adjust the size of the gradient to taste in adusting the scale (highlighted). To change the gradient, click the thumbnail of the gradient in the dialog box. To select another gradient, click the triangle on the right. When the dialog box is open, you can also drag the gradient around the image with your mouse. Of course, in this case the gradient will already be anywhere. After the gradient has been applied, you can resolve it by clicking on the thumbnail of the gradient in the Palette layers.

I hope this helps.

Peace,

Lee

Hey all, I make a stop motion video and I was wondering if there was a way to keep a center point. In my case, a piece of paper. Here's what my project is:

Is there a way I can do it with a certain effect or technical change? is made in another program like after effects or using measures/batches to all photos at once in photoshop (if so, I'll ask there if you can help ) or does do everything with each picture of the document as centered as possible with the camera?

    Hi all

I'm not quite the Fireworks guru so patient with me. I use Fireworks for many batch image optimization of the things I do for our company Web site. I use simple batch commands to run on a directory of files. Export of batches, batch resize etc.

I need to do something more sophisticated with the batch command and Im not quite sure how to do it, ot if there is an existing jsf file or extension I can grab for it (in batch).

I have a bunch of images that vary slightly in width and height. I need to resize a specific background and Center it on the canvas. Thus, for example, when I run the batch, he creates a transparent canvas or white which is 400px x 400px and then takes the image and centers it in the Web. Basically, resize the image to fit in the center of the canvas. Any help or links would be appreciated. I tried recordign action to do so in the history panel, but I could never work.

  • How to blend the edges of the Image with a gradient

    Hi all

I've created a transparent gradient on an image. The problem I have is that the edges of the image are visible under the gradient. I know how to fix this in Photoshop, but I'm having trouble in Illustrator.

How can I create a smooth gradient on the image smoothing without seeing the edges of the image?

    Thank you

    George

The gradient is transparent, so you can see the edges of the image through the slope, especially since the image is cut off on the edges.

Try to move the brown color on your gradient slider further to the right as it mix better with the image, you may need to add more mixes not so. Soften the edges of the image as much as the edges are not so difficult.

  • my desktop icons are of normal size, but the image that represents the shortcut that is MSNBC, is very low in the center of the icon

I have to resize the icons, just the image in them... Thank you!!!

You can have the Web site icon, but it will be not bigger: it is stuck at 16 by 16 pixels.  This is how the icons on Web pages are programmed.  It's not for lack of Microsoft: it's just the reality of the world.  If you forced the site of MSN icon to be large enough to match the size of the "large" view desktop icons, that's what it would look like:

Of course they don't want people to complain about the ugly tense icon, and since Microsoft cannot replace the icon for each Web page in the world, they simply leave it at the default size so it looks nice.
Given their big stretch would become extremely blurred, Windows leaves these icons low resolution to their normal size, centered insizing a box.
    >> If you only want it to be as big as XP, you can always do: just to right click on the desktop, select display, then Classic icons... Classic is the size THAT used XP.  Stretched above example is what it would be if you choose Medium or Large inside Windows Vista or 7, which is bigger than anything XP could ever show.

  • Adjustment of the image resizing Center

    Hello

I am trying to implement features of zoom pinch in Blackberry Torch. I can pinch of touchevent details and so calculate the scale factors. I can then scale the image using EncodedImage.scaleImage32.

However, I also need to put the center of scaling, as well as during the pinch zoom, I need to keep the point between two fixed fingers, instead of 0.0. I can not find a method to set the scaling Center.

    Any ideas?

I would like to look this way, rather than scaling on a Center, I think you have to scale and then re - focus.  In other words, ladder, then understand where the new central point would be based on the center of the fingers after the balance.  Paint the Bitmap centered at this place.

I suspect that it is easier than trying to figure out how to scale and maintain the central point.

  • Position of the image in the Bootstrap model "carousel."

I thought I would take a shot to boot. There is a starter template in Dreamweaver that does more or less what I want. But I have a problem of tiny design that I can not really the solution. Maybe can someone help?

I use the included slide show 'Carousel', but I don't think that the proportions of the image should be the same regardless of the size of the viewport. With a large window, I don't want the image in full height, I want not cropped. That's why I added a 'max-height' to the box containing the image. It works very well and the height of the image does never exceed my max value.

But: the position of the image in the box limited height is not centered vertically. The image is cropped just at the bottom of the box, while I love to crop the top and bottom. I tried many ways to center the image but failed. Normally this wouldn't be a problem for me, but since I am changing the design to someone else, there seems to be something that I don't get.

This is a simple example of site showing my problem: http://www.linnsideout.se/imgtest/

That's what I want to with large windows:

    header-1a.jpg

    And that's what I get:

    header-1b.jpg

Everybody out there is able to tell me the css tricks necessary to center the image vertically at the start of the crop box?

The way you have the sample is the way it should work. It's because you used the fluid container. If you use just the containing class, you would have cut offs for each device. In this case, you can use the image just for this device.

Take a look at the use of srcset to load the images. Take a look at the sensitive Images: If you are simply changing resolution, use srcset. | CSS-Tricks

  • Batch crop to the image format

Hi all, I use PS CC 2015.5 and am looking for some help on something I can't quite understand, but I'm sure is possible!

I am currently scanning a lot of old negatives and the scanning software is a culture arbitrary on the images that I can't control while they are all delivered to dimensions slightly different pixels and elongation and, occasionally, the image will have a thin inside edge. I am happy with the results of the scan and have a decent workflow going so I don't really want to use a 3rd party scanning app for additional control.

The ideal situation would be for a harvest of lots, centered in a 3:2 ratio. I don't mind losing a little of everything around the image so some previous posts on here, I see the canvas size is probably the best way to achieve. Play, make a 98% all round canvas resizing to get me almost what I want, but it obviously keeps the aspect ratio of the original which is not necessarily to 3:2.

Using a crop, I can control the AR but when you in the form of action, it seems to keep specific references for the departure and arrival, so it would not apply to every image.

To help straighten it and culture, the logic used to straighten quite often results in severe rotation who loses half of the image.

My apologies for the long post, but someone has a suggestion as to the best way I can get a harvest of 3:2 centered originals of different size?

In my package of action crafts there is a plugin script that I wrote. Selection of the image format plug-in can do path and selection report l / h. All you need is save a step two Action.

Menu stage 1 file > Automate > proportions selection...

Fill in the dialog as follows, so that the plug-in will save these settings in the action stage.  When the action is played no dialog appears the saved setting will be used.  The centered 3:2 or 2:3 selection will be defined.  Depends on the orientation of the document, if the selection will be landscape Portrait 2:3 or 3:2.

Menu step 2 Image > Crop

You can batch action with Image Processor script if you want to add the sizing.

  • How to make that pixelated to the color gradient effect

I work with a project of pixel and I love how this chart looks like. The quality is horrible and I wish I could find the original HD, I'd be more than happy to pay for it. Unfortunately, I can't.

Also, in my position, it would be more logical to actually learn to do this with Illustrator so that I can make variations for different projects.

I tried to play with the function 'create photo mosaic' and he me 60% of my goal. I'd create a rectangle with a gradient, then would have raster and create photo mosaic.

Unfortunately things seem too perfect. Colors are perfectly aligned and nothing doesn't come off or "explodes" the average pole.

    pixels.jpg

Advice on the creation of exactly this from scratch in Illustrator?

Open to pay for a detailed explanation

    Thank you!

0 choose a cell format. In this example, I used a cell size of 12 pixels. In Photoshop, create a file that is a multiple of this size of cell (e.g. 792 x 192).

    1. create a gradient

    2. add some noise if you wish, for a color variation

3 filter > Pixelate > mosaic. Use the size of the cell that you chose in step 0. Make a note of the number of cells horizontally and vertically.

    4. save the image. In Illustrator, place the image and add it. Select object > create object mosaic. Enter the number of cells horizontal and vertical in step 3.

5 separate the grid of cells. Use the object > path > offset of getting 1 pixel cells (or even if you want). Cut to the Clipboard and delete the rest. Then glue in place.

    6 remove cells to taste.

More noise around the steps 2 and 3 would probably have worked.
