Yes we can

no free 5 domain after activating Central 1.2(1a) ucs
I did all the actions described here, but the grace period is still growing:
ucs00(service-reg) /license # show usage detail License instance: UCS_CENTRAL_ACTIVATION_PKG Scope: Server Default: 5 Total Quant: 5 Used Quant: 0 State: License Ok Peer Count Comparison: No Peer Grace Used: 0 License instance: UCS_CENTRAL_DOMAIN_REGN_PKG Scope: Server Default: 5 Total Quant: 5 Used Quant: 5 State: License Graceperiod Peer Count Comparison: No Peer Grace Used: 1184400
What I did wrong? Why is not using the
UCS_CENTRAL_ACTIVATION_PKG
licenses?I ran this by the license expert in the core team of the UCS. Install the licenses are a step of both parties - download the license to the central instance of the UCS and then click on it and select Install. The screenshot is similar to a system where the license of UCS_Central_Activation_Pkg has not been installed. When the license has been installed on our test system, UCS_Central_Activation_Pkg licenses have been used and the grace period fell 0.
More details about the installation of a license are part of the UCS Central user's Guide for the software to http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/ucs-central/u....
We have seen this problem with several clients and strive to improve the experience in a future release.
UCS_Central_Activation_Pkg license is tied to the L-UCS-CTR-INI = PID.
If this does not resolve the problem, I would advise you open a TAC case.

Error loading credit using planning instance configuration management target
Hi allI'm migrating Oracle credit functional configuration management (model Scoring list, automation rules) of the source to the target instance instance. I am trying to achieve through the use of planning. Once the load completed, I get the following error and configurations are not migrated. This error only appears for the configuration of credit management. Not for the other features. Please help me on this.

Passage of custody of data with broker fails with ORA-16570 / ORA-16665
I'm using Data Guard 11 g on Windows Server 2012 64 Bit. Recently, I have configured the broker to manage the permutations more uncomfortable.
Unfortunately the digital switchover does not work. Broker Setup seems fine, since I can activate t and redo apply works perfectly...
Now, the behavior is as follows... Once I put the passage through brokers, it shows the following:
DGMGRL > passage to the smart_stb
Continue to pass, please wait...
Error: ORA-16665: wait for the result of a database
Failed.
Unable to failover, primary database is always "smart".
The digital switchover happens, there is no restart of the primary database well! Does not appear to be linked to a DGMGRL buggy service entrance. In fact the database will not yet descended. The principal is supending all processes while trying to do so. Broker runs into a timeout, of course, but the principal remains in a State of supending. The primary doesn't seem to be able to cominicate with side standby or vice versa. Which is strange since the restoration of log shipping and apply is workng fine as mentioned... do a manual failover. I don't know what could cause this kind of behavior... Double checked everything. Once I restart the two databases and align on the rule of law that the digital transition is complete. But Needless to say that it is not intending to use the broker...

Solved!
A logon trigger that makes an insert in a table for each log in the appearance of this behavior. Since dataguard brings the standby database open mode ReadOnly cannot insert the trigger and the strange behavior as described happens!
Hope that could help someone in the future...

I'm running 64 Bit Windows JDK 7 connecting to Oracle DB 10.1.0.5.0. Access the Plan to explain in the tool monitor Sessions tab causes the error. This has been true in all 4. releases.
Copy of the report of sessions monitor down to a user defined report, check out the SQL used in the Plan to explain tab and try to run in your 10.1.0.5 database. We do not support this version of the database, but you can change to the sql in your report defined by the user to work for this instance if necessary.

Oracle 11g upgrade in AIX 6.1 with HACMP
Hi friends,
As I have two Power servers in AIX 6.1 with oracle 10g in HACMP in which SAP application runs.
That is independent of database and other Central Instance.
I did 11g successfully upgrades in my DEV and QAS servers which are nonclustered environment.
Now I want to upgrade even in PRD tends in HACMP.
Let me know what are the areas should I focus especially on the servers in cluster environment.
Thank you
HariI'm still not sure what you mean by a DB server and a CI server.
In a configuration HACMP, 2 node, Id expect to see something like
/ U01 hosts ORACLE_HOME locally on each node
/u04...etc/u03/U02 are HA mounts you will see on the active node. In your case I suppose that its all the materials for lv, but if that's true you also put your ORACLE_HOME to be a point of mounting HA>
..
/ dev/lv_pip_64 10.00 18988 5.73 43% 2% / oracle/PIP/102_64
..
>on your passive node, compare the mount points and itll be clearer. If you have your Oracle_home to be as much a mount HA, Id be careful with who you are, then past to the operating system with host names on install. But anyone who installed it would be tested failover (you hope) leaves thus temporarily assumes its ok. It's easier then on you that you only 1 upgrade to do and that is on the mounted oracle_home.

Hello
In my OPA team, we have a situation in which it would be useful to be able to run a series of calculations on a set of instances sequentially. We wonder if there is an acceptable method for this in a single call to a modules, because the OPA does not allow a loop or a sequential processing of data in a way that seems obvious.
Context:
Consider a situation involving a computation that can be performed on a single Bill, but we have a series of bills to deal with. For example, let's say that there are a certain amount of a deduction or "co-payments" that must be subtracted from the large bills, but is deducted in greater quantity of invoices received earlier (rather than be distributed also among them) and then will deplete fairly once was subtracted in all. In this case, it is not sufficient to use a statement of the type «for each of the Bills...» "because the conditions for the calculation have to change with each invoice. This seems to require the ability to browse an ordered list, but we do not know if something like this is possible (without violating an axiom or advised).
Ideas:
The best idea we could come to would be to use a time stamp to identify the Bill earlier as a starting point and then use the function of 'unknown' to force the rules to calculate the deduction for 'other' more former Bill in sequence. The current solution will be to call several times modules by an external script that loops through the Bills.
To sum up, we wonder whether there is an acceptable approach to apply a set of rules to an entity instance before to apply the same rules to others, without requiring multiple calls for modules.
Thank you!
-Patrick
Published by: Patrick guess on July 6, 2011 19:11You started down the right path. To quickly answer questions, there is no need for multiple calls to the basis of rules, no for ranking explicit rules or data.
The challenge when using unordered rules / systems of determinations is out procedural thinking (that loops or sequencing data explicit is required). The solution is by expressing the declarative logic equivalent (which requires no sequence with the right answer). In this case, consider the calculation from the perspective of one invoice at a time and write the rules that express properly how much to pay, what is the quota, etc. For the batch processing where running tallies are needed, there is something practical for use in the rule based systems - conclude the subtotal per each item being counted (for example, remaining annual quota through each invoice). This approach allows the declarative rules which "defined" the method calculate the score by a Bill, so that the following invoices can use the score of previous bills. Unfortunately, the description abstract approach always sounds more confused, so here is an example of rule of pseudocode that can communicate the key elements of the approach...
Assume:
Bills have numbers (or dates/hours) which can be used to conclude an absolute order for all bills (we will use Bill in ordering them in this example)
Remaining annual quota of the person is the initial amount of copay remaining before the current batch of invoices is treated
Each invoice must include a co-payment of $50 (for simplicity, although this could be concluded by rules and vary based on the services provided, etc.)
Assume all bills are more than the share (again to simplify this example, this could be dealt with in the rules of both conditions)
The main objectives of the basis of rules are to determine the share of each invoice and the balance sheet of the share of the person (i.e. copay they may still have to pay this year) after treats a batch of invoices.Pseudo rules to get the general concept:
Set the order in which the bills need to be addressed...
-The Bill (prior Bill) is a member of previous invoices of the invoice if the s prior invoice ID< the="" invoice's="">
-The Bill (later Bill) is a member of the subsequent invoices of the invoice if the invoice later s ID > ID of the invoice
-The Bill (Bill immediately preceding) is a member of if immediately before invoice
the immediately previous invoice is a member, if the prior Bill of Bill AND
the number of previous invoices of the invoice with ID > ID of the invoice immediately before = 0To conclude the first remaining share of each invoice... put them in a table of rules, so they can conclude the same attribute but use different logical formulas
-Initial remaining Copay of the invoice = remaining share of the person if the number of the invoice is immediately previous bills is 0 (i.e. the first Bill in the batch)
-Initial remaining Copay of the invoice = share of remaining final invoice of the immediately previous invoice (i.e. each ' initial rest copay "is the same that the invoice immediately before the 'final remaining copay)A table is used to define how much share for each invoice - two possible scenarios...
-Share of the invoice = $50 if the original invoice remaining share > = $50
-Share of the Bill remaining share = original invoice if the original invoice remaining quota<>A rule to determine the final remaining share of each invoice (i.e. after subtracting the share upward through this invoice of the annual overall amount of the person)
-Copay remaining final invoice = remaining share original of the invoice - share of the BillA rule to determine the person remains final share (i.e. After all invoices in this batch have been processed)
-remaining share final person = final remaining share of the Bill if later the invoice s County bills = 0 (i.e. the final copay remaining of the 'last' Bill in the batch)Note that some attributes and relationships above are not absolutely necessary (i.e., it is not necessary to postpone the two remaining original co-pay and determine a final remaining share by invoice, but it retains the logic of each a little more simple rule).
Hope that helps...

Hi allWe had two P6 database instance as a DEV and PROD
We want to configure the web client so that the user can select either DEV or PROD according to the requirement by the same URL.
Can you please tell me what I need to do in the web to work with two DB instance client?
Normally, changes are reflected without bouncing the middle tier (weblogic Server). If t is not then rebound / restart the server managed by admin / when P6 application is deployed.

Group of patches to update for each Instance necessary? Urgent!
Dear experts!
I'm running a server with v.10.2.0.1.0 and 4 instances of database Oracle. Today, I installed the update of the Group of fixes for the version 10.2.0.5.0.
After the runInstaller routine ended, I connected to one of these cases and ran the catupgr.sql followed by the utlrp.sql script.
My question is if I need to run these scripts for each separately to the upgraded instance of the schemas sys and system to v.10.2.0.5.0?
It is really urgent, because I have to get back to work tomorrow. Systems need to run Monday.
I appreciate your help! Thank you very much in advance for clarifying the steps! I ' ill keep you updated on how things are going!
Best regards

Yes, you will need to run scripts on each database that uses this ORACLE_HOME. The steps are described in the README file to 10.2.0.5 patch.

Necessary to allow rights of properly to an instance of Oracle SQL Developer
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to get our Oracle DBA to allow the use of the SQL Developer to connect to our Oracle database. I'm looking for specifics related to allowing an APEX developer to connect to the server to perform certain tasks. I looked for a 'how to' in terms of having done this, but I have not found a 'hand holding' description of the steps required to accomplish this task.
Can someone point me to a resource that I could use to achieve this?
Thank you
CharlesCharles:
What are the tasks must be done on the server?
Can you not perform these tasks of SqlWorkshop?
If you already have a workspace defined APEX, you should be able to connect to the Oracle via SqlDeveloper database using the schema of analysis of your worspace APEX and its password.CITY

Multiple instances of firefox in the Manager of tasks but FF does not open
-Windows XP SP3 (updated with all critical updates)
-FireFox 25.0.1 (Note: originally, I had version 31, but there are a few days that has stopped working)
-Norton Security Suite (version of comcast) up to date
-J' have IE6 and Chrome 37 like browsers (Note: FF stopped working, IE8 had also ceased to operate-page would open, only one system process, but the page would never load)A ran the following tests:
-SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition
-Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
-Ad-Aware Antivirus
-Spybot-S & D Start CenterFound some non-critical infections still possible (nothing too crazy)
Symptom persists as follows:
-cool computer boot
-Open task (no case of FF) Manager
-Open firefox - process appears in Task Manager and it goes immediately to 50%
(Nothing opens and nothing listed in the Applications)
-Open a second instance of firefox - 2nd process appears in Task Manager
(still nothing opens and no instance appears in the Applications
(two instances continue to operate the CPU usage - a 15% and the other running at 35% - at a 50% YTD or both can be executed at 25% each)
-opening a third instance of firefox
(still nothing opens, and three bodies show in the Task Manager process and cumulatively race to 50% - example: 15 + 15 + 20 or 10 + 15 + 25)Troubleshooting:
restored a picture disc from may 2014
-Note: Dec 2013, I had made a complete NEW installation new Windows XP being drafted for EOL and installed all updates, including SP3, so that the image I have chosen to may was 5 months old, but I chose this one because of some other programs I had installed this month and didn't want to go through this again
(- Note #2: I disk image, make a monthly PQI backup of my C: drive and my drive R :) I have two hard drives 300 G each, while C: drive is OS only and drive a: all my downloads, my documents, my pictures, etc.)-After the restored image, I tried to open FF and IE8, neither app was problematic. FF auto update version, I don't know, but it was on 31 when I realized that the problem was BACK. Had a few critical updates to WIN, and IE8 does too!
uninstalled IE8 (restored to IE6, and now IE work - but obviously I can not live with IE6 - only necessary update!) uninstalled FF31 (and deleted all temp files and the profile of the account) and installed a copy of FF25 Neuve - while I immediately force autoupdater shut down and removed the update files, so I could stay on FF25.
Now FF25 will only open on the second instance of the process (the first will always be 50% of the CPU, the second will open and run between 0 and 10 CPU and application in the Applications)
-J' learned that I can kill the process by 50% using the the Task Manager or process explore and total CPU usage will be reduced down to 0% - 10%I can open a lot of tabs with no problems and I can right click on a link to open a new window and everything is good, BUT if I use the ICON on the desktop, quick launch ICON or the START > programs > icon, then the NEXT process will increase to 50% and no second window opens
I've seen dozens of forums that have reported similar memory problems, but none has been resolved.
Can you help me? I don't want to upgrade from IE6 to IE8 right now, but I won't use it for anything but stable until I can upgrade. Note: in addition to being very slow, I was move to Chrome, but I never liked Chrome... I use FF right now to ask for help.
Any suggestions?
I followed donaldmaloney suggestion and it works now. Here's how I did it:
-uninstalled all instances of N360
-restarted,
-remove all the remaining files from the initial installation,
-restarted again
-reinstalled N360
-a ran Live Update several times and restarted
-repeated Live Update until no more updates to date are availableAnd now I can open the IE and FF.
Save yourself the time, stop working with Norton support staff, but BRAVO to them to understand their product to the root of the problem and they do not include a fix for the problem, but uninstall/reinstall was the only way to allow the difficulty of working. Great work!Detective Conan!
