certificates on two different machines

I will be traveling with a machine that has my installed certificates.

I have new make or install the originals on the new machine?

If you have certificate .p12 files, you can use them only on the new machine when you sign in to your application. If you do not have certificates .p12, you need to rebuild on the new computer before you can download and sign your application. The certificates would be linked to the new computer.

  • Install of OBIEE on two different Machines

    Hello

I try to install OBIEE on two different computers (Oracle server in a display) and Oracle BI Server in others.

I installed Oracle Presentation Server and Oracle Application Server on a machine. When I try to install Oracle BI Server on another machine, it will ask for the location of Server. When Application Oracle I specify the location of the Application installed on the Computer1 server, the installation is not engaged.

What I have to install Oracle Application Server both machines.
And if anyone has any document regarding the installation of OBIEE on two different machines and how to integrate, please forward to me on my mail id [email protected].

Please let me know if you need other information.

    Kind regards

No, the instructions are not the same since Unix uses a custom ODBC driver, but Windows is not. To configure what you want in Windows just to go to your ODBC Data Source Administrator in your server which is installed the presentation server and change the name of the server in your driveway AnalyticsWeb ODBC from localhost to the name of the server where the BI server is installed.

  • How to share XP Home Edition and XP Professional edition between two different machines?

I have the OEM installation DVD and modes of action with product codes for each edition (XP Professional SP2 & XP Home Ed SP2).

I installed and activated them on two separate computers (a Mac Mini (XP Pro) and a MacBook Pro (XP Home) both running under Parallels). Now, I want to Exchange editions beween the two machines. How to activate one-"Windows XP on each machine, so I can re - install on another machine?"

    Thank you. Sayling

You cannot "turn off" Windows. Because these operating systems are running in virtual machines, you can simply move the virtual machines on the desired computers and start them, by removing the 'old' of their respective computers later. Usually, when I opened a back-up-and-move virtual machine with VMware Fusion/Workstation I get a message in the sense of "was this virtual machine, copied or moved? I say always "inappropriate" and VMware makes the necessary adjustments. Parallels will probably do the same thing. You can't even get a prompt to re-enable installs it XP, but if you do, it's no big deal. If the automatic activation does not work it just use the phone option, wait for a human to come on the line and tell them that you have uninstalled XP and reinstalled on the same machine and it is installed on a single computer. Technically, you will be in violation of the LICENSE agreement given that the license for an OEM version is linked to the computer on which it is first installed but things will still work. • Can I associate a video file with an edition on two different machines?

So, I am doing a project in collaboration with someone in the first, and I put my edit in synch creative cloud file so that we could both on the same project.    It was working fine until we have worked with some of the raw images of 15 GB in size.  There is no room also put it in the cloud, so I had to put in a different folder.    The problem is, give the file a address of link that includes the structure of files on my computer.   Even if I put the file in the same folder on his computer, you must always connect manually whenever it is saved on another computer, Yes?

So the question is: is there a way I can set it up so that the video file is in a folder 'content' on both computers, such as first on the two systems can understand this is the same file?

    Thanks in advance!

Even if the containing folder is identical, the full path to the file must also be identical. So, for example, D:\Tom\Projects\Footage is different than F:\Joe\Projects\Footage for the two letter and the user of the drive name.

If the paths are identical, then Pr will connect to media automatically.

    See you soon,.

  • SIDS even be identified for two different VMs

were presented in a new and interesting dilemma.   Our Active Directory Administrator has discovered two different machines virtual (VM different names) which seem to show that they have the same identical SID.    The two virtual machines created from the same template.   How is that possible?

However, when you deploy virtual machines from the model, we have chosen "no customization.   So, maybe it's the source of the problem.  I guess we should be "Customizing" then?

Yes, if you choose "no customization" it will be just like deploying a clone, then it would be something that you would see the SIDS the same for the two virtual machines.  «If you have you not the Customization Wizard, you could just sysprep your model, then deploy with no "personalization".»

I am using this SSD external boot drive to start two different iMacs at work and home, making all my stuff to update this SSD.

Is it possible to PREVENT VMware Fusion ASKING such question with each single switch to Mac (as said, I always start the two Macs at work and home from the same SSD drive)?

On the other hand, I hope than boot from SSD external drive to start two different Macs (one at work and one at home) will not break she like says dlhotka.

The main issue will be the differences between the CPU and according to what difference, say a Core 2 Duo vs Quad Core this by itself may be sufficient to trigger WPA on a Windows Virtual Machine.   Like many a Client in Mac OS X or OS X Client that shouldn't be a problem however with Mac OS X Server or OS X Server so that I moved it with a Core 2 Duo vs Quad Core, I have not had problems yet but the haven of the exhaustive tests with the server version.  I think it will go well, however, we should always do... maintain appropriate backups!

  • With the help of two different devices for VDR to save the same virtual machines

    Hello

I have VDR backup right now most of my virtual machines. I'm experimenting with some recovery scenarios disaster using VDR. I want to set up a new device, backup virtual machines themselves, but with a destination off. My question is, it would cause problems to have two different devices, backup the same virtual machines?

I'm asking this is because I was looking at the notes of recent VMworld session on VDR and he says, regarding a troubleshooting scenario in which you must create a new device in addition to your current device, both devices back up the same virtual machines do not.

If it is dangerous to do so because of the likelihood that two devices can save the same virtual machines at the same time, I could schedule the backup windows at different times to avoid this problem.

    Anyone have any ideas?

I create a second local camera vDR and vDR distance and test it against a test VM. The vDR devices will have their own CBT files for each virtual computer, so they should be able to work together, but I would like to go through tests to see how they work well on the WAN. Make sure that you can transfer enough data to host daily data change.

  • I need to move a virtual machine on data centers in two different sites at the regional level.

I'm under VMware Virtual Center 2.5 and ESX server 3.5. I have 2 data centers in two different sites at the regional level. If the material could not be more distinct. The virtual machine is a complicated web server while it takes move rather than be rebuilt. I've heard of process not VM to get there, but it would be nice to have a process of VMware.

  • You can force two virtual machines to run on different hosts?

I'm looking to see if we can score two virtual machines to never run on the same host as the other. I thought I had seen this ability in later documentation but can't find it now.

    Thanks for any help!

    Hello.

If you use the DRS, then you can use a rule of DRS 'separate virtual machines.  Go to the Cluster settings, change, then see the VMware DRS-> section to implement rules.

  • Pavillion 500 - c60: two different monitors as multiple monitors

Is it possible to run a two-screen display using two completely different monitors? I'm replacing an antique desk with a 500 - c60 (Win 8.1) Pavilion and also buy a W2371d monitor for the new machine. The old PC use a perfectly good 17 inches Samsung screen, but the former.

What will happen if I tried to include my old monitor in my new configuration? If I was able to use two monitors, I would of course make the new HP the primary one. Yet, it would be useful to me if I could have the additional area of the former monitor display. However, the screens are not only of different manufacturers - they are of different vintages, different sizes, different standard resolutions. It is even possible to do?

    Hello

Yes, you can use TWO different monitors as indicated:

    • Chart AMD Radeon HD 8400 (in combination with the processor)
  • Create two different user profiles in a laptop to use in office & home environment

can we create two different user profile / accounts, which can be used only one profile of field office environment & another profile for my internet browsing environment home (which has no restrictions). But my desktop environment uses an ISA Server which limits with many rules.

What I really want is, I want my two accounts work like two different PCs. mainly programs which I use on the family environment may not run or work or visible on the desktop environment profile...
can someone suggest me a solution or I would like to know if it's possible that...

Unfortunately put you you join a computer to the domain, that's all the computer not the user account and the domain policies will be applicable to all users.

Even if a running virtual machine could just do what you want, you would have probably more success with the creation of a separate partition and dual boot of the system. You would then have a home operating system and a separate office o/s. Dual boot can be with the same versions of Windows, they do not have to be different.

  • ACS 5.3 join two different directories Active Directory without reply in the ad.

    Hello my name is Ivan:

    I have a question...

Can join GBA 5.3 to two different Active Directory directories that are in two different networks for the use of eap peap mschap v 2, with 2 different certificates, to authenticate users in a wireless network?

    I have

AD 1 in the newtork with Certification Authority 1 10.25.1.0/24

AD 2 in the network 192.168.10.0/24 with Certification Authority 2

There is no replicate in the 14:00 users in AD 1 are totally diferent from the AD 2.

Both of their ad I want to join my ACS 5.3.

    How can I do?

    Thanks for your replies.

    Concerning

Here are a few things we can think in your scenario.

    >            You cannot integrate the same ACS server directly to two different areas of AD (AD1, AD2). With ACS 5.3, all you can do, establish 2-way trust between domains (AD1, AD2). This way users of the area approved by ACS installed in the local domain can authenticate. You must add a UPN or the prefix NETBIOS suffix (e.g. [email protected] / * /-name) for the user name when is authenticating with a domain (Trusted one) that the ACS is not joined to, including child domains.

    >           However, with ACS 5.4, you can join the nodes of the same deployment GBA to different areas of the AD. However, each node can be attached to a single AD domain.

    ACS 5.4 primary - domain a.

    5.4 ACS secondary - domain B

  • Why is no longer a faster network between two different hosts?

    Hello community!

I need help in this mystery.

I have three computers different virtual, all of them with e1000 (also I tried all VMs with vmxnet3) and the latest vmware tools.

Two of this mV, are in the same physical host (ESXi 5.5.0 2068190). Call for example: VM - 1A & VM - 2A

Another virtual machine, is in another physical host (ESXi 5.5.0 2068190). Call VM-1 b

Both ESXi hosts are connected with two cards 10 Gbit network with load Balancing: "From hash IP route" and detection: "link status only.

Traffic Shaping is disabled in all Ports.

The environment is very clean, and we have more VMs that can disrupt the test (or inappreciable).

    VM - 1a: 10.12.50.201 - physical host ESX - A

    VM - 2A: 10.12.50.202 - physical host ESX - A

    VM-1 b: 10.12.50.200 - physical host ESX - B

Why I don't see better network speed reference, when two virtual machines send something two physical host is different than when the two virtual machines are in the same physical host?

It is not a question of "iperf", I used the other test with CPS and I had the same speed.

    Thank you very much!!!

PS: The physical host computers are: Dell PowerEdge r.620 - 16-core Xeon - 384GB RAM

    net_benchmark.png

Have you tried to move your VM on different hosts to the same host?

    Your names of:

    VM - 1 a host has

    -VM-1 b on Hots B

    ToDo

Now move VM-1B for A Host and repeat the test (two virtual machines on the same host). What happens now to the speed?

    Check

-How is the CPU usage during the test we Host-A, if you have 2 virtual machines on this host?

-What is your ratio of P2V CPU? (overprovisioning?)

    What it could be

-Host doesn't have enough CPU power to serve the two virtual machines (or over-provision P2V related problem). But for me no sense if I see your config server with 16cores.

-It is not a host but a related problem of VM (perhaps it depends on the VM - A2). Makes the most sense for me (your test is to check)

    Please share the results
