CF7 showing old versions of pages

I saw a strange problem several times over the last year - the page on the site is not all of a sudden the correct version, but an older version over a year before.
The homepage http://www.stavangertravel.com/index.cfm changes at least 40 times a year, with news and events new positions. Today, it's showing a version of the page in early September 2006, even if the files on the server are October 24, 2007.
This has happened several times, and I noticed the last time that the basket contained a number of old files - from September 2006 - 2 of the pages which I knew that I had problems with. I have emptied the trash, restarted the CF Application service and everything was fine - until now.
The problem can be cleared by either upload the files again, or simply by restarting the CF App service.
The big problem is that I have over 1000 pages on this site, and by chance I have will know when I have a problem.
Any ideas?
Anyone else seen this strange behaviour?
I'll upload a new version of the page soon.
This last happened on halloween, which seemed appropriate, but now the joke wears thin

John

I think I have the answer, thanks to your mention of the cache folder CF.
I googled "cf cache" and found a House of fusion page http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-talk/thread.cfm/threadid:54088
The last suggestion is to delete the files from C:\CFusionMX7\wwwroot\WEB-INF\cfclasses

I looked at and - there was my problem of files, as well as the index page that I downloaded without compilation 2 days ago.
These files from early September 2006 were also likely to be downloaded without precompilation.

So I guess that there is a bug in CF7 that sometimes, it will use the file precompiled, and sometimes, you fall back on an (older) version that is in the folder WEB-INF\cfclasses.
The Elves to listen? ;-)

Thank you CFMXPrGrmR - we appreciate it!

  • Updated my web page... you're still showing old version? Why

GoDaddy told me it was a Firefox issue... older version in your storage space. Other browsers show the updated version. (Chrome Safari how to fix this?

One way to check if there is a problem with the data stored in Firefox is to test in a new private window. When you launch the first private in a regular browsing session window, it has an empty cache and a cookie jar empty and should give you a clean recovery of the current site. If you still get the old data, the problem is external to Firefox, for example, a proxy server or ISP cache.

Close all windows private if you want to test again, because they share a cache pot and the temporary cookie until the last of them is closed.

  • shows old version download

Hello! "" I'm trying to update a page, I get the old page same thought when I publish I get the "complete ftp transfer. I tried to refresh, delete history... Don't know what goes wrong. Would really appreciate your help tks!

Dunno, what do you mean with "nested" in this case. But this may be the problem. I would like to delete all data on the server and any publication from scratch. If "nested" means which, according to me, that means, you publish the pages in subfolders and link them manually in your menu.

  • FF 24.0 shows old version of the menu Options (Privacy) in a subpage

I have FF installed 24.0 - my father has 24.0 FF (both on Windows 7). When you click the Display Options window and the privacy, his subpage of the Privacy tab is very different from mine - seems to be an older version.
    Why?
I can provide screenshots of it, if I knew how.

Not really, see "Using the custom settings for history" means only that the changes have been made and some parameters of the story no longer have the default setting.

If you see (never) "remember history", which means that all parameters of the history and cookies are set to the default value.

Choose "Use the custom settings for history" allows you to see current history and cookies settings, but select this is not make changes to the parameters of the history and cookies.

Firefox displays the choice "To use the custom settings for history" as an indication that at least one story and cookie settings is not the default to make you aware that the changes have been made.

If all the history settings are default, custom settings are hidden and see you "conservation rules: (never) don't forget history."

"Never remember history" means that private browsing is active and "Always use private browsing mode" Gets a check mark.

  • Downloaded the latest VLC Web Plugin ver but Firefox show always old version

Downloaded VLC Web Plugin Version 2.0.5.0 and rebooted and restarted Firefox.
Firefox Plug Ins still shows the old version 2.0.2.0.
When I check that Firefox to version the most recent says 2.0.2.0 is the last and I'm updating.

When I open VLC as a standalone it happens in version 2.0.5.0.

Why Firefox is not incorporate the correct version?

Version 2.0.2.0 shown in Plugins is the version of the Firefox Plugin, not the version of VLC. To see the version of VLC, open VLC then help > on. The Plugin version 2.0.2.0 has remained constant on the latest VLC updates few and probably will not change until a revision is made to the Plugin, if necessary.

  • Updated plug-ins, but the profile still shows the old version

I spent most of the morning trying to update my Silverlight plugin to the latest version (5.1.10411.0) of the old version which has blocked now (5.0.61118.0). I tried several downloads and installations, with the plugin disabled and disabled it, and I manually deleted files to delete to manually uninstall Silverlight, Microsoft says:

       /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/Silverlight.plugin
       /Library/Receipts/Silverlight.pkg
       /Library/Receipts/Silverlight_W2_MIX.pkg
       /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/WPFe.plugin
       /Library/Receipts/WPFe.pkg

Finally, I created a new user on my Mac, opens Firefox in this user and discovered that the Silverlight plugin has been upgraded (5.1.10411.0). I restarted the Mac, open my regular user and profile Firefox... and the Silverlight plugin shows always also (5.0.61118.0).

I'm sure it's just a plist somewhere which is not updated. Any ideas of what I can short constantly tearing files, reinstall and hoping for the best?

Never mind. I deleted pluginreg.dat, and that fixed it.

If you mean the drop marker so you can always get history buttons front and rear, if necessary by left clicking and for a second, or by right-clicking on them.

If you want to continue the brand drop there too there is that Extension to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/backforward-dropmarker/

  • utility based on the Web shows again the old version of the firmware - HELP PLEASE

In September of last year, I replaced my old Linksys with a new (BEFSR41 ver 4.3).  I started to get in trouble yesterday, so I consulted the web-based utility and noticed that the window says: the firmware 2.0 version!

I tried to update to the latest firmware available for my model, following the instructions on the site but something went wrong and the firmware has been altered. Finally, I managed to update the firmware via tftp utility, and he said that the upgrade has gone through. But the utility still shows the version of the firmware 2.0.  Under the router > status reads as follows:

    Capture (share.field_33_UI_share) Firmware Version: 2.00.4 build 7, January 20, 2010

I am very confused. Which is the latest firmware or I get it confused with the 4.3 version number?

I really hesitate to update the firmware again after the problems I had the first time.  If anyone can give me some advice on what to do, I would really appreciate it.

You confuse the hardware version of the router with the version of the firmware.

The BEFSR41 is the model. One physical versions of this model. Each version contains a different material. The exact hardware version is printed on the label under the router.

The firmware version is the version of the firmware (software) running on the router. It is important that the firmware used is compatible with the hardware version of the router. For this reason, you must select the correct hardware on the router Linksys support download site version to be sure to choose the right firmware compatible with your router.

The latest version of the firmware of the BEFSR41 v4.3 is Ver.2.00.4 Build 7. You have the latest firmware.

  • When I opened my site and then click on the home page, it returns to an old version on two pages. (Chrome browser only)

I use Cyber duck to download my Muse site and all was well until recently.

It looks good on mobile, iPhone and safari. When I open my site on desktop chromium, it seems fine at first, but then if I click on my home button, it goes back to a previous version, making two pages (home page and the about page).

I emptied my FTP and re downloaded and it's the same thing. only bring my site on Chrome.

I noticed one thing is when the site opens there not/index.html at the end then when I click on the home/index.html page appears again at the end of the url and the previous version.

If anyone has any ideas that would be appreciated.

Here is the site that I speak to you. www.hilltopstudiosbath.co.UK

I wonder if it's just my chrome which is the problem and not the site. Maybe if someone else can check it for me.

    Thank you

It is difficult to say if it works or not because we do not know what looks like the old version. If it only happens in Chrome (I guess it's just Chrome on your computer?), then this is probably a caching issue. Press Ctrl / Cmd + Shift + Delete to open the dialog box clear browsing data. You should be able to get away with fair compensation for the image and the file cache. Close Chrome once that you did. It must address issues of the site.

  • Several tabs in the old version...

New Firefox 4.0. is not like the old version, when I close many tabs in the earlier version, that it will ask you to save open tabs and when I open Firefox again, he will be Lord of all the close tabs option is very useful, but this option is not added in firefox4.0... Please add this option... Thank you

Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so it is no longer necessary for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.

You can use "Firefox > history > restore previous Session ' to get the previous session at any time.

There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.
