Windows 8 MAIL APP doesn't send emails

Title: Windows 8 original MAIL APP?

Geeeshhhh... OK, so Windows 8 mail application is extremely upsetting. I'm NOT a tech geek, but I usually tell me things. (1) I want to know where the e-mail settings. (2) I have two messages my Outbox that have sent (and sent and sent and sent...), but they are caught in the trap in my Outbox and can't get out! I can't delete them at all... Please do not throw port numbers to me because I don't know where to look! Should I remove this app and open a gmail account? very frusterating!
Help!

Those are the only two emails I sent. and no, I made no changes to the system. I just got the machine yesterday.
What I ended up doing (I took the machine to my computer guy) was delete the mail app and Live Mail installation, which works well. 8 app was too much and was not very friendly at all!
Thank you, though.

  • How I change my ID of Windows live mail. Unable to send Email with Yahoo ID present

For the last few months I spend hours ranging from help in support of sites etc sites, try to change my Windows live mail 2011 ID so I could e-mail. Somehow be an absolute genius, I entered an ID Yahoo active as my windows live mail ID. Whenever I'm on a MSN site (and sometimes others) when accessing "share or email" it automatically opens a Windows live mail sending form. It still shows my address like this Yahoo address and I get a failure. For any consultation of everyone else, it is the actuall message:

The connection to the server has failed.

    Topic "

    Server: "smtp.mail.yahoo.com".

Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC0E

    Protocol: SMTP

    Port: 25

    Secure (SSL): No.

    Socket error: 10013

This message was received honestly more than 70 times. When I want to "spend" a few hours, days (and nights), I'll start again in this adventure with absolutely no positive results.

Please please help! How can I change my ID to the one I use, for example, for HOTMAIL?   Thanking you in advance

    Try this:

Click the Start button, select Control Panel and click Add/REMOVE. On the page Add/Remove to find the windows live essentials and click on modify it / remove button. This will display a page that offers the possibility to uninstall or repair. Check the button fix and on the next page, select this option to repair windows live mail. I hope this helps.

  • Word couldn't send mail because of MAPI failure:... using Windows 8 Mail App for receive/send...

Mail is set as the default program for mailto.

    I missed another required parameter?

    Hello

I wish to inform you that the ability to send a file from Windows Explorer relies on MAPI (Messaging Application Programming Interface), which is something that the Windows Mail application is currently supported.

However, you can still attach a file while composing a message through the user interface just to open the application bar and selecting the attachments button.

You must use any application like outlook or windows mail client to send mail, and the mail application is just an application that can be used to send mails using this word.

  • Mail App keeps disconnecting my email

I'm on my laptop and using the Windows Live Mail app to check my emails. I have at least 5 players for this app.
A few days ago or so I withdrew the people app because I received a notification e-mail me that it was wrong to be logged into Facebook more and I rarely use anyway.

So I deleted and did not know that it would take both calendar and e-mail apps.
So I went to the store and redownloaded the app of stupid people and he put my Email and calendar apps back on.

I didn't have to go to readd my email and things (thank God!), so that was good. But now for some reason any my yahoo email say checking the settings. I click it and it makes me put my password. She does throughout the day... countless times. I have not changed my password so I don't understand why he keeps asking me to put it in.

    Help me?

    Hi Sara,

Thanks for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to know that you are unable to use the email account Yahoo Mail application. Don't worry, will help you with the question.

You use app Mail or Windows Live Mail, because you mentioned both in the thread?

Application calendar, Mail app, app of people all are synced and installed at the same time. If you uninstall any of them, others are also uninstalled.

Are you having the same problem with other accounts on the Mail application?

If it is only with the Yahoo account, then try to connect to Yahoo.com and check that it works very well.

Then delete the account Yahoo Mail the application, and then add again.

Set up Mail and add contacts:

  • Cannot send mail from Windows 8 Mail app

Installed Win8 pro (upgrade to win7 x 64) a few days before and set up the Mail app to work with all my email accounts. I have several: a gmail, an outlook.com and three or four regular POP3/IMAP on mine, hosted domains. The problem is I can't send e-mails from any IMAP accounts or the account of outlook.com. I receive emails OK but sending does not work - they end just the Outbox and then nothing happens.

This doesn't seem to be a problem of parameters - I use the same settings as in my Outlook 2010 client and I chatted with hosting support (they confirmed my settings, each of them). However, I noticed that when manually "sync" I got error messages saying temporary get accounts are 'not available' (top right). This is true for my POP3/IMAP accounts as well as the outlook.com account. May be a temporary problem, however, since I have no problem receiving e-mails.
I used a downloadable apps Win8 mechanic I found here at Microsoft Answers, but he found nothing. And nobody else seems to have this problem (neither here, nor on other forums). What could be wrong?
Any suggestions on how to deal with this issue would be greatly appreciated. I was hoping to invest in a Windows Phone 8 later, but I would like to first of all of course e-mail work.

Please wait for the update to be available in different markets. The 16.4.4406.1205 version is the most recent with the fix.

    Added October 17, 2013

8.1 Windows upgrade, Mail App will support invalid server certificates (not match error with CN, untrusted root and expiry of the certificate). This means that the user can temporarily reject the certificate error when connecting to the IMAP/EAS server using the SSL connection. The setting is available jet account-> Settings.

  • Gmail account, email twice to Windows 8 Mail app

I have 3 accounts set up on my Windows 8 Mail application, a Hotmail, a Gmail and a Google Apps account for Business. The first two are fine, but the third party sends a message twice when sent from the Mail application. And it is actually sending two letters (timestamps are different, too), not only save outgoing mails twice - I checked it myself, too. It becomes embarrassing as this is the account of my work, and I can't use the Mail app to send official letters more.

Does anyone know how to stop the Mail application to send emails twice?

    Hi valerie, Patricia

I ask you to try the following steps and check whether the problem is resolved:

Delete the Google Apps account and check if the problem occurs with the two other accounts.

  • I have windows live mail 2011 and cannot send photos without everything skydrive business or registration to windows live

sending pictures without live skydrive or windows

I have windows 7 and now I have windows live mail 2011 and cannot send pictures without this whole enterprise of skydrive or sign into windows live.  I want to just be able to send and resize my photos that I have with outlook or mail in the previous windows and entertain my friends with the same ease. I need to return to the previous version of mail but do not know how and what I lose my contacts and emails from the Inbox?

1: what version of previous mail? Win7 has no default program.

2: is it a POP3 account? Open a new message window and then attach the photos. No need for supplements.

  • Change the default font size Windows 8 Mail app

Original title: Calibri 12 No 11?

Why is the font of default mail Calibri 12 and not 11? All other MS products use Calibri 11 and my emails look like they came the first blackberry whenever my colleagues open them. The solution is to change each email to Calibri 11, but it's so ghetto. How to get something like this loser? Please tell me the registry key to resolve this issue.

Looks like 8 win mail application is a total bust. I found the "Windows Live Mail" app where I can add all my accounts and customize the default fonts. The behavior is similar to outlook. hope that helps people.
