Change default address "scan to network" on C2665dnf

I had a successful address configuration "scan to network" of the LCD screen of my C2665dnf for a notebook of Windoze. The laptop has changed, new name, new address. I changed the address in the address book server and it works for scanning.

However, whenever I select "network analysis" of the screen LCD, "pre-selected" default address is the old laptop that no longer exists. I have to go to select the correct laptop from the address book each time - what works, but it is a bit of a pain.

No idea how to reset default 'scan to network' to be a different address?

This sort end account - not very intuitive, but you must select the address you want, and then change the scan settings to and then click on the "Save" button. This saves the scan to settings, including the path of the server chosen as default for this icon on the LCD screen. The main thing was to save, even if you make no changes to the settings (except the server).

Once I had worked to this point, I was able to create a new icon with different parameters (scan in PDF format, for example), then now simply just choose the correct icon for the work.

  • Changing the address of the NETWORK card

I have to assign a new vswitch to my host and a NETWORK card is available, but there is no IP assigned to this network adapter.  I need to assign an ip address to vmnic2 and then attach it to my new vswitch.  Anyoen can help with the command line?  Thank you.

You cannot assign the IP address range. I assume you mean "observed IP range" in the NIC properties - it's just for your info, packages of which NIC subnets see.

There is nothing to configure. Simply create a vSwitch and add physical NETWORK adapter.

  • To change default Internet connection sharing IP address range and subnet mask

    Hello

When the ICS (ICS) is enabled on a NETWORK adapter that is connected to the direct Internet line, the second NETWORK card automatically gets the 192.168.137.1 IP address and subnet mask 255.255.255.0. As the first IP address in the address range is located on the second NIC in the computer, the other client computers receive the other IPs in the same range, for example 192.168.137.2, 192.168.137.3 and so on.

In my case, I already have the static IP network using Network 10.0.0.0/8, I want to change default IP of 192.168.137.1/24 to 10.0.0.1/8. I managed to change the IP in Regedit - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAcces - parameters - ScopeAddress / StandaloneDHCPAddress

that works, but default IP 10.0.0.1 has the subnet mask 255.255.255.0, how to change the subnet mask of 255.0.0.0.

  • How to read the multiple slave devices in a RTU modbus RS485 2-wire network without changing slave address manually?

    Hello

Currently, I can read data out of multiple using the attached VI DAQ devices by manually changing the address of the slave on the front panel that determines what slave to read the data. However, I want the VI to do it automatically for me instead of me manually by clicking on the buttons on the front panel to change the address of the slave. In other words, the VI should read data off devices 3 slaves and save them to a database of all the 1 second (sampling from 1 sec interval). I tried to use the structures of the case, timed sequences and delays, but I'm still not able to get what I wanted. My current VI is a modified version of a VI library modbus - 'MB series Master query read input registers'. No idea how to do this?

IM pretty new to LabVIEW, so don't kill me if im away here

Could replace the cluster 'Series settings' with the attached structure solve this problem?

The real deal will be just the value back to the default (1).

  • Changing the MAC address of the network management

    Hello

We have 2 servers ESXi 4 in our network. We do not know why, but both have the same MAC address on the network card virtual for the management network. That's a lot of problems with the connectivity of one of ESXi servers.

Is it possible to change the MAC address?

    Best regards

    Robert

Removal and addition of the vswif of the service console should generate a new MAC address.

    esxcfg-vswif - l

    Note the detail.

    esxcfg-vswif vswifN d

where N represents the number of vswif, d Deletes

    esxcfg-vswif - a n-i < IP > < vswifN > < portgroup > Pei, netmask

is the command to add a new vswif, even when N is the number of vswif.

Finally decided to try to set up the scan to a folder again... but run into the same issues as before... invalid name and password

Using Macbook Pro running El Capitan 10.11.6 - has only one user on mac... Bob

    Not yet completed:

    Folder created under users\Bob\Scan

Went to the settings and turned on file sharing and add the Scan file to the list of shared folders and make sure "Bob" is listed as a user with read/write privileges.

Selected scan / file Configuration of the network

    inpu the following parameters

    Display name - Scan

    Any suggestions?

    Hello

As long as you enable sharing of Windows files for the user the pritner will not be able to connect because it only supports SMB.

By testing, I see the user as available for selection Although SMB is off...

By searching online, I do not see messages indicating you will not be able to set in Windwos God file for the password iCloud user, may it be linked? :

You can try creating a new user account and set it for this purpose (you won't even need this user to login, just set it to the printer while offering both users access to that folder, then you can continue to use your current users).

Another thread indicate that change the password solved the problem:

  • Difficult to change IP address in WRT160N

I am trying to use my 160N as access point and I read on the Linksys site on how first, replace address IP 192.168.1.2 and then disable DHCP and save the changes.  The 160N is plugged into my laptop (address IPv4 192.168.1.100) and the laptop is not connected wireless to any other network.

After I saved the changes, the next screen says "change successful" and then I hit the continue"" button.  There is a 20 second pause.  The bottom of the screen shows the laptop tries to connect to the new IP address, but cannot. I started from.  I try to reconnect to the configuration using the new IP address page, but can't.  I use the old (default) IP address and still not get the configuration page.  I have reset the router 3 times do the same exact process and get consistent results.  Linksys, I called and they told me that I had to change the third digit and not the last number to avoid any conflict of IP so I tried without success.

Why can't I change the IP address?

    1. disconnect the E3000 WRT.
2 wire a single computer to the WRT.
3 reset the WRT by pressing the button of reset for 30 seconds.
    4. open the web interface at http://192.168.1.1/
    5. change the address LAN IP of 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.2.
6 turn off the DHCP server.
    7. save the settings.
8 disconnect the computer from the WRT.
    9. wire one of the LAN ports of the WRT to the E3000.
    10. connect your computer to the E3000. Try opening http://192.168.1.2/

If this does not work, open a command prompt window and type "ipconfig/all". After the output full.

In addition, make sure you have a working internet connection on the computer without worrying if it is connected to the E3000 or the WRT.

  • I just changed email addresses. TB guard shipping copies of emails to the new address in the old

I can't find a place where TB directs the emails in any account to a default account. Having just changed email addresses. I have two accounts in my TB program. For every email that I receive, for each account, I get a message saying that he was sent to the old account and is not available, because the ISP has closed this account. How to change or remove this automatic redirection? I have not deleted this account in my list of TB yet, because I'm still working through the files left there to decide whether to move or delete the individual emails. Simply remove this old account to solve the problem?

You need to sign in to your account via a browser and check your account settings.
There is no such thing as a "Thunderbird account. Thunderbird is an email client that allows you to retrieve messages from an account that you set up with your email provider.

I have configured the 8620 via the integrated Web server for scanning to \ \Scans < ip address of my macbook > the 'test' function's successful return.  However, when I run a scan to network folder in the control panel of the printer, I get the error: "cannot write in------< ip address > \Scans.» Destination folder is read-only, has the wrong permissions, or is no longer available. "I don't see how that's possible given the test of EWS.  I confirmed that the file is read-write for all.

  • HPOfficeJet Pro 8630: Scan to network folder fails

I have recently reinstalled Windows 7 without password on my computer, although the previous installation did use a password. Now I can not scan to network folder (error message that the user name or password is incorrect), or save faxes on my computer. (error message that there is no communication between the computer and the printer). I checked the windows firewall, I restarted the router, printer and computer. I use an Ethernet connection to the router.

    Hello

First of all ensure that protected by password sharing is disabled for your operating system, otherwise it will fail:

From the Control Panel, under network and Internet open the network and sharing Center.

Ensure that the network type is displayed as a home or work network, if it is listed as Public network click on it and select home or work.

In the left pane click on change advanced network settings and select turn off password protected sharing.

    Search for now any change.

If you have problems to right click on the Shared folder, and then select Properties.

Ensure that the folder is shared as sharing.

Click Advanced, and then click permissions and ensure that your users have all permissions to this folder.

    Hope that helps,
