  Hello.

  A friend asked me to change something in an indesign file. He sent me the file, but not images and all the links where broken. No problem, I just edit text som. I did this and referred the case back (I know that is not the way to work with indesign). He checked and was convinced and sent to print. But there was a problem with one of the images. Initially, he had an image on a different hard drive and I happened to have an image with the same file name in my temporary folder and this image was treated as not broken but only updated. I have not noticed this and I had not changed anything other than text then why should it be saved? It shouldn't be a problem when he got the return file because he must see that there is a broken link or Indesign should update this on its own. Well, he just happened to have another file with the same name in his file and Indesign just picked up this file instead, he pointed out as an updated link, but he comes to accept this and the end result is an error.

  I know that this scenario is a bit stupid but I was wondering if it is possible to open a file and to force it to register only what I really change and ignore broken links?

  Go to the your preference of ID files management section and uncheck find the missing links and Check links before Opeing Document.

  Once you have done this, however, you're on your own to check that the links in the links panel manually then all THE files you are open.

  Step 3: Download the fact that IE sucks green weenies
  Step 4: Enjoy as a result of all the links that you click actually LOADS A PAGE.

  No more clicking on 'Try Again', thank God.

  This means that you don't have WRITE permission in the destination folder.

  You should:

  1. In Lightroom, determine the exact destination folder (it is on the right side of the import dialog box under Destination)
  2. Change the permissions in your operating system on this specific file WRITE permission; OR Change the destination folder in a place where you don't have WRITE permission

  The Nikon D7100 is supported from 4.4 LR on-site. So I have no idea why you have problems to import files NAVE of this camera or the card memory used in this device.

  You use the Nikon software first to get images of camera or card to your hard drive? I read somewhere that the Nikon software does something for the NAVE of the files making them unreadable by LR.

  5 pages is located in your Applications folder.

  Pages ' 08 is located in your Applications/iWork ' 08 folder.

  If you open your old documents Pages ' 08 with 5 Pages it will convert and if not damage, remove a large number of useful features.

  You will probably regret upgrading to 5 Pages which Apple has made extremely inconsistent and keeps changing its file format.

• Bug: Changing computer name is not reflected in the existing task scheduler tasks

  I changed the name of my computer some time ago.

  Today, when I went to the Task Scheduler to add a new task, I got an error message:

  "An error has occurred for task [task name ]. Error message: the specified account name is not valid. »

  When I clicked OK to clear the error from the Task Scheduler open OK, but the task identified in the error is not in the list of tasks, which means that it was impossible to consider the task or correct the error.

  When I checked the file containing the details of the task, I found that the task remained the old computer name, i.e. it was not being updated when I changed the name of the computer, and so the task was now where the error and was apparently being hidden.

  This seems to be a bug.  Preferably, the account names must be updated if the computer name is changed, or at least the task is still visible in Task Scheduler.

  The computer is an old laptop running Windows XP.  I think that it's Windows XP is a key reason why the error occurs.  That said I can't replace the laptop right now so I would turn off rather updated.  I've updated to the latest version of Adobe Reader from the Adobe Web site.  The new version added a 4th checkbox in the section to turn off the automatic updates, but I always get the same exact error message.

  Is there a hidden Windows Settings folder I have can be directed to Adobe Reader?  A file where I can change the automatic updates option from 1 to 0 to turn it off?  Because the software does not work.

  I went to individual within the folder of image files, and those who showed that I had only read permission. I could then change to read & write and file name change allowed.

  Welcome to the Apple community.

  You need to disconnect your old ID in System Preferences > iCloud > sign out and then sign in with your new code.

  You will also need to do this for iTunes, App Store, Messages, FaceTime, and books.

  To change your sharing settings go to iTunes > file > Colocation.
