Change internet provider; need to access old emails new e-mail address

I'm about to change e-mail addresses of internet service provider and, with that, and I wanted to know how can I save my old emails from course providers and be able to access it once I have the new provider. I am always eager to see some of them, as many of them have information, I want to use before and after the passage. I don't know there is nothing I can do about it that emailing documents to more stable e-mail addresses and see it. Any help and feedback are appreciated.

When you ask Thunderbird to create a folder in the directory 'Local folder', it is not associated with a specific account.

You can move mail from any of your email accounts in these files and access full messages in their midst, even when the original account is closed. You can put messages from several different suppliers in the same folder "Local".

Very useful when you want to group your messages by categories.

  • SBS2008 - need to access old emails

    Hello

I installed a SBS2008 several years ago. Before that, we were using an external e-mail server and access our mail through pop. All mail was stored locally in outlook, which worked very well. Emails back 10 years can have access.
Now, the back farther that my emails go is 2010. I need to access email that goes back to the point when the SBS has been installed. I also want to restore all my old archive pst and store them on the exchange server, they are included in the backup process.
We are a very small organization, and the exchange server must be able to deal with five 5 to 25 GB mailboxes.
    1. How can I access the old post that outlook does not show me?
    2. How can I stop outlook do not show me emails considers "old"? (you mind, we don't talk what it is deleted - nothing is deleted here!)
    3. How can I add my old outlook PST files and include them in the exchange server?
    Thank you
    Phil

AND another problem, if I want to send pictures by e-mail... default .it my no more used by email, not allowing to send because I do not agree with them. Thank you

XP was the last version of Windows to use Outlook Express and that you are in a forum of Vista. Assuming that Windows Mail:

Tools | Accounts and add the new address/provider and remove the old.

Once the old account is removed, your second issue must be without object.

We moved and changed Internet provider.  We have Outlook Standard 2007 and now I can't send emails.  They sit in my Outbox. At first I was getting, but not more.

    Hello

You need to log on the new site of support to provide. Whether they take over the pop3/SMTP protocols.

If so, read the instructions and set up a new account in Outlook using information found on the website of the provider.

  • I had to change the Apple ID due to a new internet provider and the subsequent new e-mail address.  My iPhone and iPad constantly ask the password for my old user ID.  This is the password I know more knowledge or records.  What should do?

I had to change the Apple ID due to a new internet provider and the subsequent new e-mail address.  My iPhone (5 c/9.3) continually pray for my old user ID password.  This is the password I know more knowledge or records.  How can I get the iPhone to recognize and use the new Apple ID rather than the old?

What function or service on your phone asking you the code of the older?

If iCloud, you must provide the Apple ID and the password that was used to connect. Call the Apple Support if you can't give it. They may be able to help. You are the original owner of the phone? You have the invoice/proof of purchase?

Any service can be disconnected and then again.

  • To access old emails from Plusnet in-app Mail Windows 8

Hi, I have a new computer with Windows 8 and have set my Hotmail and also my Plusnet (main) email account successfully in the Mail application.  I can send and receive e-mail from these two accounts successfully.  I want to transfer my old emails from Live Mail for my email Plusnet on the new computer.  I installed the Mail Migration app and this brought the emails successfully but only as a subsection of Hotmail.  This means that whenever I reply to a message Plusnet, it automatically sends it to Hotmail.  I still have nothing in the Plusnet record.  PlusNet Assist do not support Windows 8 and I am completely stuck!  Help, please!  Theresa

    Hi Theresa,

I understand that you can not reply to messages of Plusnet mail while answering messages migrated from Windows live mail.

To better understand the issue, please send us the following information:

    1. When you say 'I reply to a message Plusnet, it sends automatically from Hotmail', is happening with new emails too?
    2. What do you mean when you say 'I still have the record Plusnet'? Records created by Plusnet post are you referring?

I suggest you run the messaging app troubleshooting utility from the link below and see if it helps:

  • I can't access my emails in windows mail - ask his password and account name?

I usually open windows mail and emails download automatically.  I opened the windows mail yesterday and he asked for a user name and password - I have tried everything I know possible and not to accept anything.  I really need to access my emails and do not know what to do.

    Any ideas?

I can see previous emails received and sent etc. but I can't send or receive and he asked just the user name and password.

Make sure also that you have not intefering antivirus software.  See www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 and it could help to compact and repair the database of Windows Mail (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/).

  • Can I change a POP3 account existing IMAP account without setting up a new account requiring a new e-mail address?

The instructions in Thunderbird help advise that it is necessary to get a new e-mail address to set up the new IMAP accouint. I would use the existing e-mail address.

It is simply not true. I have Setup several times the same duplicate in Thunderbird, a POP and an IMAP account.

There are ambiguities about what means 'email account '. In this context, it will be the same email account, but using a different connection to negotiate with the server.

Once you have set up, your email account exists, whether you use it or not. The default value of 'existence' is likely to be in your email provider's website. You have an email address and there is that a supplied server somewhere who is willing to accept messages for you. If this account is added to Thunderbird does not affect its basic existence.

In Thunderbird, we talk about setting up e-mail accounts, but here you make an entry to allow Thunderbird to access your account. So tell you him about your e-mail account and where to connect to the server to use. Thunderbird can make this connection using POP, IMAP, or even both at the same time.

The 'final paragraph' is intended, in my opinion, for those who have had an e-mail account with a single supplier and I now turn to another provider and a new account e-mail (address). This is a warning that if they just delete the old account in Thunderbird, its content will fade. You must keep the content by copying them elsewhere before deleting the account. In fact you don't need to remove the old account , but you will be regularly harassed by Thunderbird complaining about his inability to connect to the server.

Go to file | New | Existing e-mail account, add your account again but let Thunderbird select "IMAP".

Now copy (select, drag-and-drop or use the right-click |) Move to) the content from your old account POP-connected to the new. I'm assuming that you change in IMAP because you want to access your messages from more than one device, so want some, if not all of your accumulated messages visible.

If for some reason you are not able to set up IMAP-connected version until you have deleted or closed the older POP login account, then you can instead store messages from the account based on POPS in Thunderbird local folders, delete the old account POP, then add your account to e-mail again but this time it allows to select an IMAP connection. Then you can move your messages to local folders into folders to the new account.

  • How to pass all Windows messages to my address to a new e-mail address so I can close the old account?

    1. We have established a new domain and an email account for our Church and need to transmit emails arriving at our old account/email address to our new e-mail address/account.  Searched the help files but no luck.
    2. We want to transfer contacts from the old email account to our new account.  Know that we can send a blast of e-mail contacts to inform them about our new address but there are always 10% and there are those who we wouldn't be in our list of Contacts who will not get the word about the change of address, so we would like to transmit the emails that arrive automatically to the following month until that we close the old account.  Is it possible or we have to recreate our Contacts list in our new account as soon as we receive emails?

Windows Mail can't do that if you create a message rule but WinMail must be open for the rule to work. The best advice I can offer is to ask your former e-mail server if they will send messages to you.

  • Change of provider ISP:-what to do with the e-mail accessed through MS Outlook

    Hello

Like most people I have several e-mail accounts, one account I have is provided to me by my current ISP; emails are accessible through MS Outlook.

I intend to change my ISP soon. Is there anyway I can get email courses sent to address current thid transmitted to any future address that I turned off another ISP?

Your help is appreciated in advance.

To transfer from the old address to the new, you would need your old ISP to accept to transfer the mail sent to your old mailbox to your new mailbox.  They could agree to do, and they might ask for a fee for the service.

  • How to change internet provider

I've already implemented the valet with my dsl internet provider and everything worked fine.  I'm spending internet suppliers in a few days to a cable company.  I'm not sure how to proceed.  I just unplug the old valet dsl modem and plug in the cable modem connection?  just valet reconfigure itself to a cable connection and keep my old username, password and ssid? Or do I have to redo a facility?  If a new s setu necessary I don't think I can just insert the easy key because it has the old configuration data on it.  How can I make the new configuration?  In addition, the first time that I put in place I wanted to use my printer a network printer shared - but may not have connected it to my pc and using shared network protocols.  I plugged the printer directlyinto the router, but I forgot the instructions given to me both for the addition of this device.  It seems to be instructions for adding a printer wireless, but do not to run just a rigid cable connection in the valet.  I tried to ask questions by email to the valet to support with a no case of a person who has helped me before but noone evergot back to me. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

If you replace the cable DSL internet service provider in this case you need to uninstall the existing Cisco Connect software on the computer... Reset the router and the power of the network cycle...

Do the following connectivity Modem router---> computer--->... Then install the Cisco Connect software... It will help you in the configuration of the router...

If you want to provide the old SSID and password for your network without wire then you can set those as well...

As far as do the printer as a shared network printer, it depends on the operating system running on your computer... Let me know which operating system you are running on the computers.
