  You can configure several different Gmail accounts in a way that through the Universal Inbox messages... However, you get the advantage of the calendar, labels or Contacts that provides the native Email application. Go to Menu > accounts > add account > Email set up Gmail as an IMAP account. I'm a roadrunner fall, so I created a gmail account but microsift does not allow me to change my email address so I had to close the roadrunner connection and make a gmail account to sign. I couldn't add family safety to the gmail sign in so I closed it also. I am now locked out of my security settings for the family and unable to make changes or see web filtering. I tried to create a hotmail account, but that does not work either. My gmail.com is the address I want to set up with microsoft and security for the windows family.

  We are happy to help you in this regard. I understand that you want to change the settings for parental controls on your computer, but you have already deposited the parent account that hold the settings.

  The settings can be made by removing the family settings on your computer. You will need to uninstall the previous settings will be erased and then reinstall it so you can configure it with your new account.   Look in the C:/Documents and Settings folder, as to how much user account folders are present.
  Maybe his account will have a different name.

  Who has ever done the installation of Windows, the installation program asks you to enter your name and optionally, the name of the organization. These registration information appears under recommended for in the general tab of the System when you click Start, click Control Panel, click performance and Maintenanceand then click System.

  If you use a standard account to change the type of account, it is not possible. You must be logged in as an administrator to change the standard administrator account type.

  I am not connected as a Standard user.  I am logged in as administrator.

  That's what I told you at the beginning: you ARE connected under an administrator account, so you can not change your account type "Administrator".

  If you are unable to perform certain tasks, then this is because of the restrictions of UAC (User Account Control). Click Start, click Help, and then search for help on UAC. You can disable it if you want, at your own risk.

  P.S. Please do not change your past jobs as this would result in a very confusing thread.
