• A lot of images. How to select by using the preview window (work area)?

  I have 15 images that I put on a background (picture 16) in the style of a collage.  Each image has an adjustment layer bound to her for me to mix an image manually in the next.  This worked fine, but now I have 15 images with rounded edges and I learned how to change them, I hit a problem, that I wasn't expecting.  My planned process is to move these images in a variety of sizes and positions until I got the look I love.    The only way I could work on that's too painful (scrolling up and down my palette of layer until I find the picture i took for target, select the layer, Ctrl + to highlight in the preview window and then move and size).  With 32 layers, it is very tedious.  It makes more sense for me to select in the preview window (even if it means hitting a hotkey multiple times until I select the picture I want to work with).

  Maybe I approach the task entirely the wrong way.  I'm willing to try any suggestion.  I like to do this kind of project, and I moved to Adobe because I thought that I could take advantage of its extra power to do a better job.

  I am relatively new to PSE 8, but not new for photoediting.  I, are looking for an answer on this forum and the web in general, but can not get close to a solution.  Thanks for your help!

  Edit: Using the technique I describe above, when I move to the work area (what I called window preview), the layer I selected off the coast of the Layer palette has a finely dashed around it, there is another area apparently random, highlighted by a blue line and line dotted yet another seemingly random area highlighted with a heavier white.  These hold the key my solution?

  To make it more clear what I'm trying to do-, here is a brief description of it: the final result is a print for a friend who was a torch for the relay of the Olympic flame to 13 x 19 inches.  I have a map of Canada with the road on this issue and 15 images are pictures of his 15 minutes of nirvana.  I want to fuss around with transparency, size, rotation, each of the images.  I am very happy with the adjustment layer feature (which allows to paint me with transparency).  the rest, I thought would be easy, but...

  Yes, that's the downside of the technique, it's that you need move the brush and gum to get your mask just a clipping mask.

  No way around that.

  As far as being able to see what your paint before painting, make a copy of your image layer and put it at the bottom of your layer stack

  Then, set its opacity to say 75% or so to be semi-transparent.

  Now you can paint on your layer mask to bring your full image. Hide or display the background layer let's you see the result and quickly return the Semitransparent 'outline '.

  I imported a file (created with AegisSub) STL with subtitles in first Pro CC (later) and so far it worked well. The caption file is located in, I can put it on the timeline and even the time seem to be going well.

  The only problem I have is that the text on the preview window is very very small and thin (nothing compared to the text I see in all the tutorials). Also, I can not change the background of the text in the legend editor window.

  I spent all day yesterday on research on how to increase the font in the preview window so that I can edit video without the need to have a screen that is big 3x3m really comfortably. It seems to me that it should be a simple operation, that the question crosses as already quite ridiculous. But legend supported (or the whole thing subtitle) pp is so rudimentary that I am very well prepared to receive the response to "man I'm sorry, can not do!" something.

  Once decode us captioning, of any standard, it is the size that it is. We don't have a way to change the size of the police, once decoded. According to me, it has something to do with the closed captioning standard.

  I appreciate your points - I'll put a bug in Premiere Pro that the fonts for the Teletext / LSE is be decoded small - and also put in a request for Premiere Pro that the user be able to increase the size of the police after decoding of closed captioning.

  Still, Premiere Pro is not the final arbiter on how these legends will appear - check to see how other devices are reading these stories, because the font size varies depending on what other hardware or software is used to decode closed captioning.

• PSE11 - can I increase the size of the preview window when you use filter > render > Lens Flare?

  I am trying to create an image on the theme of Christmas in Photoshop elements 11.

  There are four candles in the image, and I want to add a subtle touch of light parasite the flames of candles.

  My problem is that the preview window that appears when I select the Lens Flare filter is incredibly small, and it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to accurately position the effect:

  

  I noticed that some filters and effects have big enough insight or zoomable windows or even show the effect changing on the original image, but the preview for Lens Flare window allows any of these characteristics.

  As a rather cumbersome, I go through this procedure:

  • Create a layer duplicated my image and then hide the background layer
  • Select a small area of the upper layer around the spark plug/s
  • Select Inverse and delete the rest of the layer
  • CTRL + D to deselect
  • Now, if I select the filter, it displays only the small selection instead of the entire image
  • Add the effect of Len Flare/s
  • Display the background layer and Merge visible layers

  

  Please tell me there is a way to increase the size of the preview window, or a quick workaround better/more solution than what I'm doing now...

  A faster solution would be:

  1. Select the area you want to add to stray light. For example: in this case I would choose the candle using the marquee tool.
  2. Run the lens flare filter.

  If you want objects of style outside the properties available in the Animate application, you can do this by using the following syntax:

  .CSS ({$("myObject") sym.

  'background-color': 'red ',.

  "width": "200px".

  });

  However, this will only preview in the browser and not on stage as the code is not running at the time of the creation. You would get yourself in a place quite bad if this has happened since the events would trigger when you try to change

  If you have a style sheet that you have linked to your project, you can also add a class of objects that reflect the CSS when you preview in the browser.

  Read the answer! Your question is answered there.

  Read / unread is purely an indicator. It has no real meaning. If you go into the menu (alt + T) tools > options > advanced > reading and display, you can change when a mail is marked as read in immediately to 10 seconds (this is what outlook express used) up to 1000 seconds.

  The software marked the email read is that this logic can go. It's always "BOLD", the software did not mark the message read.

• Video do more fit in the preview window

  I've been running into a problem that I didn't until I restored my computer a few months back. For starters, I know my video files are in 720 p and I have the sequence at stake as a result. When I place the video files in the 'Source' from the full video is shown. However, once the video is brought on the timeline the preview window shows much more expanded to the point where only the middle of the video can be seen. I got around this in the past by dragging the corner copying the scale for each individual item, but it became monotonous extreemly.

  No, they aren't. They are 1440 x 1080; You can see that in the project Panel. From a functional point of view, they are 1920 x 1080, because they are HDV. Therefore, you should use a sequence of 1080i/p preset... or you can use a preset of 720 p, but you will need to reduce the image to fit.

  A quick way to create a sequence that matches your footage is drag an element to the button new item at the bottom of the Panel project; It looks like the chipped sheet.

  If you want to use a sequence of 720 p, select all the clips and use the right-click > scale image size option. Optionally, manually clip, scale and then copy and paste the path for all the other clips effect.

  What did you deleted?  Looks like you have deleted all languages including English.

  You can take a screenshot using the command, shift and 4 keys and drag the icon in the shape of cross on the area. When you release the mouse button, an image is saved to your desktop.

  QuickTime Player 10 allows to record the screen if you want to capture the movement.

  It was reported many problems with older versions of PSE and WIN10.

  Can you open PSE from office or from the list of programs on the start menu?

  No, the content of the preview pane cannot be selected. If you don't want to open the snippet for editing, just insert the entire clip into the page and edit code that is inserted.

  Drag / drop may not work if you don't have any enabl; e source patch or did not target the track for the same thing.
