  Based on what? Condition? If Yes, have you tried to set the text for the label as an expression? If not based on the condition, you can also expose the VO to Java Impl and need a way to get the attribute and change its label.

  I use JDev 11.1.1.4.0.
  
  My JSF page is done with 3 or 4 EOs, your and LOVs. However, one of the EO tables has changed its column name. The name change is important for the standard project.
  
  I remember having a lot of harm in changing a prior column name (I had to start over), so I would ask the experts take on how to do it without too much impact.
  
  This particular column is an OT, VO and lives as a field test on a JSF page.
  
  All comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  Indeed, the only thing you would have to change is the ColumnName of the object attribute specific entity (name of column of data in the attribute from entity dialog box). Now, if you used sync with databases... feature you will need to go through a full process of refactoring. In this case, use the menu refactor in JDeveloper. • Change of name of column to a data store

  We have developed interfaces using ODI 10.1.3.5. Unfortunately, due to naming standards, we are changing a column of a table name in the database. My question is that we already have reverse engineering this table and using several interfaces. Is this possible or ok to rename the name of the column in the data store and without reverse engineering once again, can we use the same data store? If possible, is there an impact?   I had a similar problem and since it's my prototyping environment, I took a return to the top of the repository work (in case something went wrong) and updated metadata in the repository of work tables to update the name of the column.

  I would NOT try this on an environment where a lot of work is done.

• Artists don't include after I have change the name

  Since I've updated my itunes, when I try to add/change a name of an artist and put in a section, where it does not. For example, when I download my songs from itunes garage band the artist is under my computer name and which is different from my name, so I choose 'get info' on the track, the change of my artist name and it usually includes all my songs. But now, it does not, I have now my artist name twice in my library. Not quite. I even downloaded a remix of Taylor Swift and I couldn't get into my library of Taylor Swift. I changed all the info to get his name, but it added another column that said 'Taylor Swift'

  It's very irritating.

  By the sounds of it, you don't want to correct "Album Artist"... Be sure to set accordingly as well the artist and Album.  Artist of the album can be a different entry that the artist, but usually, it's only for songs that are labeled as 'Part of a Compilation' (usually being 'Various Artists' Album artist).

  I just got a new computer with windows 7 and windows media player 12. I can't change the name of the artist... the only thing I can change is the name of the song. I have a bunch of songs apparently by an artist called "Various Artists" (even if the playlist on the right has the artist right next to the name of the song)

  After almost losing my mind I finally realized that if I went to 'Artist' under the music heading and 'edition' "various artists" by clicking right select edit and then it is empty. But that only put some of the songs in the right places. I have now 2 songs always under "Various Artists" and apparently no way to solve this problem. It's so frusterating. Is not able to organize and change the information the whole point of WMP? Why am I required to have two completely different artists and songs under the title "various artists" I'm afraid to download more music because if another song goes under "various artists" I could just smash my brand new computer.

  What version of WMP, I had on my old computer had an advanced tag editor... Why is it that has been subscribed? And then I'm on the subject it's terrible this new Windows Media player is why is there not more "recently added" tab? It would have been helpful in trying to find music mistagged I just add... or maybe I should remember that all the songs are technically 'Various Artists' and just look there first.

  I use a glossary with plurals for entities such as Budget turned to the budgets of the table in the relational model. Unfortunately (for me) it also changes the name of the foreign key. In the related entity, an attribute (for example) is Budget_fiscal year, I expect in the relational model, being the same, but it is transformed into budgets_fiscal_year (budgets in the plural rather than keep him in singular form).

  How can I avoid any change in the attribute names (in the process of engineering in the relational model) but always turn the names of entities from the singular to the plural names for tables?

  Your suggestion 1) works - thank you! budgets_fiscal_year is the attribute of pk exercise in my budget of the entity. It seems a standard behavior of the Data Modeler to compose the UID of the relationship of budgets_fiscal_year (for some reason, this column is not taken the logical model, but the relational model). I would prefer that it be appointed budget_fiscal_year.

  I have not defined any parameter for this (intentionally). But maybe somewhere there by default. Could you tell me where the design parameters in Data Modeler to learn how to configure the definitions mentioned in 2)?

  As I'm always busy with the model of reverse engineering data, I'll wait for DM 4.1.1.888.

  Table names and column are all two identifiers
  According to the documentation, the maximum length of an identifier is 30 characters.
  It is hard coded in the database software and you can't change it.
  Or do you need to change.

  Howdy - I would like to SEE basically import a SQL table in EXCEL without creating an HTMl page. I want CF to create the Excel from scratch on the fly - without the help of models.

• Y at - it an option to print the names of columns?

  If you go to your report and click on the 'Report Attributes' tab. You will see all the names of your column headers. and a group of radio buttons at the top of the page. Select custom, and then change the names of your column headers.

  In addition, it seems that on your 'Definition of the region' tab in the Source box, you checked the option button "use generic column names (analysis of query runtime only). Try to select the other radio button "use query column names-specific query and validate.
