  You have all the tools available to make changes to schedule of Notification of Message to subscribers of bulk? I need to extend the annex below the default values to 06:00 to 18:00. We were not aware of the requirements until after that all subscribers have been created, if the model did not contain the exact time. I have changed for future users, but I wish I could change the subscribers (1000) in bulk rather than by hand. Using Unity 4.05.

  OK, if you mean to 06:00 to 18:00 M - F (I guess weekends are disabled) then you can use the following query by opening the Exporer of data link in the filing of your tools and selecting view | Query Builder:

  UPDATE NotificationRule

  SET DlvruleSchedule = "1f06001800".

  The '1f06001800' means Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 18:00 - if you need every 7 days I can get this string instead.

  This will update all devices notified for everyone in all areas.

  Hi Nitin,

  Well, if you have all the devices in a single NDG, then simply click on the NDG > downstairs, click on change the properties > enter the new secret key shared it and it will prevail there. Although if you click on any customer to AAA within this NDG, it will show the OLD shared secret key, but due to the presence of this feature, where the key of NDG always overwrites the AAA client, this will probably work for you.

  If you are not convinced by the above suggestion and I really want to change the shared secret key and then let me know.

  I'm really a beginner with InDesign and hope someone can help.

  I need to create image contact sheets that fit into an existing InDesign template. I was able to create contacts boards via Bridge, but I don't like how they look on the page. They have boxes around them, and the images are not centered in the fields of the object.

• Changing the SNMP service

  I'm looking for som support in how to use Vcenter Configuration Manager 5.3 to change the name of the community, the destination of interruption and the security settings on the SNMP services on all of our Windows servers. I found this setting in the registry keys, but I do not see the destination of interruption. It is the only way to change SNMP settings or is there another way to do it?

  Two things to look at. First of all, the machine you are using your base line to ensure that it is configured correctly and that all the settings that you want are set manually. Second, make sure your filter sampling is pulling back enough data. If you use the default filters for the registry, I think they'll only 3 levels deep. My suggestion would be to create your own custom for SNMP filter. It would be a collection filter registry start set path to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SNMP and to the collect at the level I would have put to all the. Remember with the new filter and you should start to see all the parameters.

  Regarding the change of in bulk, if you just add to an existing Setup or change existing settings that can be easily done through the console once you get the filters to work. If you have no parameters or completely change their I did it by exporting a well-known registry and then key to deploy using a remote control. I then clean goes back through the console to remove the old keys that are no longer needed. Another tip which may help to ensure that everything is gettting the right settings is to create groups of computers for the settings you want. So if you add a key, you can create a machine group of all systems that do not have the key.

• ACS 5.3.40.1 bulk edit problem with certain attributes of WCS

  I just wanted to import the attributes WCS GANYMEDE + superusers on ACS 5.3.40.1 via the new feature of change in bulk. If I have attributes of trye what follows and click on submit, my admin user is disconnected from the web GUI and the changes are not saved:

  task15 = delete and clear alerts

  task16 = Pick and collect no alerts

  task17 = Ack and alerts Unack

  Seems to be a bug. Anyone confirm this?

• Bottleneck in bulk updates/inserts

  I worked on doing updates in block and inserts through sqlapi ++ using a library of extention udpate in bulk developed internally long ago. The oracle database is. Inserts/changes in bulk are in batches of 50K. I am facing a problem of very specific performance with respect to these bulk operations.
  
  The first batch of insert in block (50K records) is done within 3 seconds; While the next similar batch for bulk insert or update (50 files again) takes a second huge 373. 'Top' on a RHEL-AS-4 server using, I could see what the oracle process that includes all of the 373 secods for completion; so sqlapi ++ or the in-house name extension isn't the culprit.
  
  The third batch of 50K records in the sequence take much longer (second 913). The time will increase exponentially; and it doesn't seem to be > all < model out of it.
  
  Surprisingly, this is not consistent. On a good day, I have the second batch browsing in 3 seconds. All the documents intact and perfect without any kind of defect in the data. In fact, all of the following prizes would end in or about 3 seconds.
  
  Even more surprising, if I truncate the table and begin the process, the problem will reappear. He would again begin taking 370-380 seconds for 2nd batch. Once again, if I had used "delete from ' query instead of 'truncate table' query to delete all records from the table, there is no problem!
  
  So in short, I came to the conclusion that the bottleneck occurs when the table is truncated (or is created new), and not when all records are deleted using the query "delete from.
  
  All guess why it could be produced? I admit that I am not very good in data bases, so any help would be much appreciated.

  It seems that I did not yet understand the logic of your 'server' process, but if this seems to be a reasonable explanation to you that, in the case of the 'good' performance update is not performed at all, then this might be the point.

  But looking at the execution of the UPDATE plan you don't think it might be better to accomplish the UPDATE using an index? Is there an index on the parentmemberid columns, the childmemberid and the parentdimid of MDS_MEMBERRELATIONMAP?

  Moreover, it seems that you have no statistics at all on the MDS_MEMBERRELATIONMAP table because the optimizer using dynamic sampling, which takes some time to run because the optimizer runs a query on your table using predicates to check the cardinality in the analysis of the declaration.

  I already mentioned that the execution of a single update requires that an average of 22 000 block gets by executing the statspack report you posted previously. Which is probably due to the carried out full table scan. If the three predicates parentmemberid, the childmemberid and the parentdimid only identify a few rows (or may be even one), then it is probably much faster to have an index suitable for the execution of the update.

  After you install a Cisco first 2.2 and added several WLC, my client wants to just a reading only the first management. Then, when I added WLC I provided SNMP v3 RO and no username/password / activate telnet/SSH.

  The problem is that my customer wants to manage guest users of premium, I have of course some write type of privilege is necessary. Changing SNMP of ro to RW would be enough? Or maybe I need to add a user/password / activate SSH/telnet to manage? Or maybe I'll be times RW SNMP and telnet/SSH?

• Cisco ipsec Vpn connects but cannot communicate with lan

  I have a version of cisco 1921 15.2 (4) M3 I install vpn ipsec and may have customers to connect but cannot ping anything inside.  A glimpse of what could be wrong with my config would be greatly appreciated.  I posted the configuration as well as running a few outings of ipsec.  I also tried with multiple operating systems using cisco vpn client and shrewsoft.  I am able to connect to the other VPN ipsec running 1921 both of these computers by using a client.

  I think that is because my line card does not support it, but I can't find any doc to confirm.

  Yes, this kind of MPLS configuration is compatible with the SIP400, ss20/ES40 LC, but ss20/40 requires SUP720, so SIP400 is your only choice.

  If you configure xconnect to the title of the service instance, you must SIP400 V2 SPA; If you configure under subinterface-> just SIP400. In this case SIP400 is for LC clients.

  You also have an option to configure xconnect under interface VLAN-> SIP400 should be facing CORE LC.

  Kralijir, you can do it from the console GUI.

  In the left pane, select the ESX host.

  In the right pane, click the tab "virtual machines". Now, you can select block all virtual machines here and simply right-clicking them stop all, or make other changes in bulk.

  Some changes via selection bulk require all virtual machines to be in the same State; Turned off the power, power, etc.

  I read the recent postings to the digitization of the multiple DVD and found it to be very interesting and informative. I searched in the archives, but did not run in an ad with exactly my question and I apologize because I know there must be others with the same question. That's what I have and want to do: Vista with an external Seagate attached via USB 2. I have Adobe Premier elements 3 but I am ready to buy another form of software and another form of external hard drive. I have a Firewire port.

  I have a box of old VHS tapes of the recitals, dance my child, ball games, etc... the bands are very long, but often have only small portions of interest on them and now that my children are older, they are only interested in the 5 minutes of themselves. I would like to import the video and burn to dvd the relevant parts of the VHS.

  I need to know both the equipment suggested to use to connect to the computer... what software I do you suggest that I use to edit images. Or maybe you have other suggestions.

  I used the first a bit. I've never used huge files, like an endless dance recital so I hope you tell me there's a way that I could perhaps find a device that would allow me to view and scan only the parts that I want... or, perhaps, it would be best to take these tapes somewhere and have it make a DVD and then is there a way to import only part of them in this way? These are NOT videos of world class... (in fact, 20 years later I realize how much I was wasting my money! (HA!)

  Here's what I did, more like an accident, rather than a process thought to spend a lot of money, or get the best possible quality when converting.

  I had a bunch of old analog tapes, just like you and always thought that it would be very kool to get them in a format that I can use and load on my PC.

  When I bought my DV Handycam, one of the options I was looking for was "Analog passthrough' capability. This basically allows connect an analog device such as a VCR and a video copy of your Handycam.

  Office "DVD burners" usually have analog connections and can basically do the same thing.

  With this feature, I then slowly went through the process of moving all my old recordings on my PC.

  It did not work, yes he did.

  Was it easy, Yes, it was (to the extent of the connection cable).

  Has been tedious and a little of your time, Yes, Yes and Yes.

  But over time I had all my old recordings on my PC and in a format that was initiated for the edition. (You can also make some changes in bulk to source the conversion).

  A sure thing, my family and my friends get a hugh expel to see (because they are older in years).

  I upgraded to the 4.0 APEX and really enjoy new features. The only feature that I used to use in 3.2 is the 'applications reports' under tasks.
  It is mentioned in the help, but for the life of me I can't, someone else has it met?

  We went all the reports and in bulk updates under the area they best fit. To change block aid, the page definition page, click on change all the icon, then on the utilities tab - you will see all the changes in bulk and special reports available for items. Same for the other types of objects. You can also get these utilities (new icon at the top right) page, in the right sidebar, you will find a list of all the utilities specific to the page.

  Ditto for shared components, grid edit lovs is now a tab under lovs.

  Look at the BIOS of Windows configuration tool, it's readme file and instructions. Note it is strongly recommended that all systems be BIOS level. In addition, the tool requires the system used to capture the settings BIOS either the same version of bios the system in which you play their return.
