  Hi David,

  I would put in place a specific map and a table of the data entry of your employees. The budget table/sheet would take data from there, and you could block this table to discourage changes.

  In iOS, I would create a form. It would allow the data entry and access to the formula results but of formats and formulas cold not be displayed in the form.

  I see the placeholders for fields on the Quiz slides (number of Questions = {total-issues}).  Is there a way to view and change these calculations?

  You can select which variables appear on the Quiz results slide, but you can't really change the calculations used by Captivate under the hood.

  Depending on what you're trying to reach, you may be able to insert your own captions reading off the same variables and use advanced Actions and Expressions to concoct different results.  But it depends a lot on what you want to do and whether or not the variables are exposed, and whether or not the limited Expressions available will allow the calculation.

  I seems to have hit a wall with a simple spreadsheet, I'm developing.

  I want to administer the spreadsheet on my mac, but I want to be able to edit the spreadsheet through my people, using ipads. I also want to synchronize the file to the cloud so all have an updated file to use. I'm testing number and Excel. Excel works fine but the numbers I think has a bug. I want to use the numbers for several reasons.

  I've attached a screenshot of a fake spreadsheet which basically highlights what I want to achieve below. The spreadsheet works fine in number for mac, but on the iPad, I have an annoying problem that it may take a more complex formula to make it work.

  Basically, this is how I want my spreadsheet to work:

  Cells C4 - C6 and D6 - D4 are the date cells through which we enter the date in and out. The column days Out (column E) subtracts basically two dates. The return last column (column F) subtracts the Date in the column (column D) with the date in H1. So, I want to be able to sort the F column in descending order (which is the most important function of the spreadsheet, numbers of thugs are so unwanted) the spreadsheet works fine on my desktop, but on my iPad numbers puts a large number of column F (usually 73000 + according to the effective date, see line 7 in the attached photo). Those big numbers seem to be the number of days since the year "0".

  

  Here are the formulas that I currently use:

  Column E: IF (OR(C6=0,D6=0), "", D6−C6)

  Column F: IF (OR (C6 = 0, D6 = 0),"", $H$ 1−D6 ")

  Column H: today()

  I used the function DateDiff but that does not work.

  Is this a bug? Or can I somehow generate a formula that will require to work?

  Fixing unfortunately it's become outside my experience base with spreadsheets.

  Can't tell what's going on, but I get the correct results, recording the same formulas in column d a new document worksheet in numbers for iPad.

  Results in column D are the same as yours. Results in column E are one day less than yours for the first two items (it's always may 20 here) and d 187 to the third point.

  What is the (real, not "scheduled") formula in the iPad version F4?

  I have a need to add a couple of SCSI drives to my VMware Workstation VM (v10), and these drives need the SCSI ID of 1:x (i.e. who need a second controller).  Could someone give me some advice on the .vmx necessary parameters for this?  I looked at a few posts - which says that I must just add the readers in the UI, then change the SCSI ID in the .vmx... but it does not work.

  You will need to should not change at all .vmx file to achieve this.

  Once you've added the hard drives on the virtual machine, click the Advanced button in the lower right of the settings of the Virtual Machine window.  The Virtual Device Node labeled popup should allow you to move the virtual hard drives SCSI 1:0, which will give you a second card SCSI.

  I'm sure it's easy, but I just can't get my head around it.

  I have a large table in ID4. I need to change all the format of all the more than a thousand numbers.

  For example, 1234 becomes 1 234 and 12345 becomes 12 345, but it leaves all smaller numbers (IE up to three digits) that they are.

  I've tried a few things, but all fail to get the results I need

  Help!

  In my limited testing, any value not zero entries will test to TRUE, if one is zero, then the output is zero, otherwise, the output is 13.

  I understand that you wonder if the ink cartridges HP 61 which served to use with your old HP Deskjet 1000 will work in your new printer HP Deskjet 1112. I would like to help.

  In North America and Asia Pacific, the only ink cartridges that work in the printer HP Deskjet 1112 is the 63 HP black ink cartridges 3 colours. The printer will reject the other cartridges. Here is a support document which shows the compatible ink cartridges - who work with my HP printer cartridges?

  I probably would solve the problem by program, for example as follows.

  Start by Ravens idea above and use a picture of the limits of the range, for example as described here.

• value of the cell in numbers displays the date instead of the value of the formula in currency

  I use the numbers frequently and a worksheet I'm using suddenly systematically will display a date (April 30, 2017) instead of a sum value that was always there. I tried to change the cell back to currency format, all clear and reset deleting the formal line and inserting a new formula in another cell, and the problem persists. Have left and restarted numbers and the entire computer. Don't know how it happened, or how I can fix this problem.

  I have a workbook for card games where we're going to turn seats/tables throughout the day (6 moves in total).  I have reproduced the a sheet that has cells with formulas to pick up names among the other sheets in the workbook.  When I cut and paste them, for my seat of update, the formula of data changes.  IE:, journal name game 1, cell #A1 said = name cell A2 of sheet summary and so on.  When I cut and paste, it will change this formula in the correct sheet but bad cell.  Why is she even change any link to the other sheet?

  It is difficult to follow what you describe here.  By workbook (not a term of numbers), it seems you're saying that worksheet. But in numbers, you can't have a sheet that contains cells. The cells are take-away in an array of numbers that is located on a sheet.  You can duplicate a table of numbers and you can also duplicate a sheet of numbers, but it is not too clear what you're doing.  How about providing a screenshot of what happens?

I want to know if I can change the default alignment of text in the cell in a table of NUMBERS application? Also, when I select all the cells in a table to change their alignment, I can only change the horizontal alignment of the text and not the vertical alignment. To change the vertical alignment of the text in a cell, I have to select them individually. Help me with two questions.
