  I have a C670 - 17L and just recently I started having problems when switching between programs on the taskbar. Already when I used to click to change the programs screen of the selected program would open quickly. Now, it's much slower - it shows behavior similar to discoloration in transition on a Powerpoint presentation. Instead of a good quick change, it takes a few seconds.

  The only changes I did install Mozilla Thunderbird and Norton Internet Security, but I don't see why that should make a difference.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated - it's starting to drive me crazy!

  Remove Norton from the system and check if there is a difference. As far as I know that Norton is well known for slow performance s notebook due to his activity in the background.

  Download and run the "Autoruns" from Microsoft Sysinternals freeware:

  Using various hacks registry posted on various sites to redirect the default program installation folder to another drive is not supported by MS and can cause problems.

  Most of the programs when you install them have the option for a custom install, where you can specify where / which drive to install, but not all programs have this option. Even if you install a separate drive various files/folders will be written on victory drive.

  I suggest to put the computer in a clean boot state and then try to open the program and check if it helps.
  Note: when you perform a clean boot, you may temporarily lose some functionality. When you start the computer as usual, the function returns. However, you may receive the error message, or you can experience the original behavior.

  Only, I solved the problem... My mac has updated the day before to a version that is not compatible with my old version of lightroom.  Only way to solve this situation is to buy the upgrade.

  Please reset the Bridge preferences and then try it.

  Measures

  Start Adobe Bridge, and immediately press Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS down) until the dialogue box reset settings appears.

  Select all three options - reset preferences, reset Standard Workspaces and all miniature Purge Cache - and then click OK.

  There is no more Sign In for first items 10 and earlier versions. There is no long - photoshop.com has been abandoned.

• Error on Mac Pro GPU acceleration since the program crashed

  CC 2015 AI works very well for me the week last since the upgrade from 2014 CC. However, yesterday while working on several files (opened at the same time) the program crashed. After that, I have to disable "GPU Performance" while working, or I get the following error and the screen becomes white: 'Illustrator has detected an error with your material or graphics processing software and switched mode overview of the CPU for this session.   The only time where I do not see the error is if I create a new file. In other words, it crashes when I open an existing file. I gand around this by HAVE to quit smoking, reopening the program before turning off 'GPU Performance' before opening any files. Then it works fine, but of course, not with the GPU acceleration.

  It seems that the accident hit something that made the current files incompatible with the performance of the GPU.

  I trashed the prefs and reinstalled the program. Which made no difference.

  Have you experienced this? All the patches?

  Yosemite upgrade very often damage existing Photoshop.  I thank Apple for that.

  You must uninstall and reinstall Photoshop, then apply all the updates of Photoshop from scratch.
