  If you look in the upper left corner shades or panels of color or the bottom of the Toolbox, you will see two superimposed squares that may or may not be in color. These are the proxies of stroke and fill color. Filling is the top left, strong box, stroke is the lower right with the hole in it. Click on one and it comes forward and is active, so any color change will affect what it represents.

• Pages 5.6.2, cannot highlight and change the color of the text?

  I use pages 4.3 and earlier of passage to 5.6.2 - I just tried to highlight a word in a document and change the color - nothing happened.  Tried selecting the color first, and then type a new Word and that doesn't work either.  Am I missing something?  Is there any quick way to the color of the text in 5.6.2?

  To well highlight a word or a selection of words in the v5.6.2, Pages you will need to select the text, click the image below on the gear watch icon and set the fill color of your character. To remove the highlight, select your text, click in the ink of fill color of characters and click transparency icon in the lower right.

• Change the color of the highlighter

  I use a Dell PC with Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, and I would like to change the color of the highlighter. After Googling it for 20 minutes, I can't find annotations option when you go to View > > tools > > comment. I don't have the 'paint bucket' option in the comment at the top of my screen Ribbon. And yet once, the options seem to always do not show when I right click the Highlighter button.

  What happens when you press ctrl + E to display the properties bar? You should then be able to select one of the strong points and change the color and make the default color.

  Is this possible with Indesign CS6 to simply change the color of the text when I just click on the placeholder instead of having to highlight the text in the placeholder every hour.

  This is done in Illustrator, but when I do the same in Indesign, it's the bottom of the placeholder that changes color and not the text.

  I want to be able to click on several areas of placeholder text and just change the color of the text when required?

  I agree. It is difficult to see.

  Have you seen Windows Live Mail? This is the new version that you can download and upgrade Windows Mail that comes with Vista.
  There the same light blue as a backgroud to selected e-mail in the list, but they are now double height because it lists the e-mail address from which it comes and the subject under him. You can also change the color scheme to make the blue stand and more.
  It actaully is a program a lot nicer and him will transfer all of your email and settings automatically.

  I did recently added this feature to my system. I did it by modifying the example in this article in the knowledge base of NOR. I don't know if it's the best way to handle this, but it worked fine for me. I have modified the function as shown below. You simply pass your message and the hexadecimal color you want to use.

  I'm working on a simple serial terminal and I would like to change the color of each line depending on whether the message is sent or received. I have an indicator of string in which I add all messages, sent or received.

  My problem is that when I change the color of a substring by using a property node, all the text in my chain indicator changes. Here is a small Video that shows my problem (my real VI is a little too big to put here but the part of string works the same. I concatenate, keep the clues and apply the property node):

  Any idea on how I could change the color of the new line? It seems the selection doesn't really work, because everything in the chain takes the new color.

  PS: I've seen a web-based solution in which the property node must be extended for every line, of course it does not work for me as the number of lines changes dynamically.

  The problem you have is that the string contains no format information and it does not keep the indicator.  You will need to set the font.color in each line, each time you receive a new message.  See my post here - http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Different-fonts-in-string-indicator/m-p/1601602/highlight/true#M5823...

  Ah, I think I understand now.

  Try that and see if it's what you want

  Right-click on properties/Desktop

  On the appearance tab click the Advanced button

  To the title of the item change the color of the "selected items".
