is it possible to freeze my creative cloud for 2 weeks? We pay every month for CC and the next payment will be due on December 19. 18 December is our last day, so - if possible - we would like to ask the next invoice of 4 January (not 19 December).

    Hello, I have this little problem. The formula BG_ABSENCE_DURATION calculates correctly for me for the current year. But lets say to my request to leave extends over more than one year, namely from December 29, 2012 to January 2, 2013, my formula removes 5 days of accrual for current (2012). How can I remove 3 days of accrual accounting 2012 and 2 days of 2013 of accumulation? I've already calculated duration of th for the current and next year in my formula, the problem is how to recognize by oracle.
    So I would have something on vacation from December 29, 2012 to December 31, 2012. And then another leave annual element since January 1, 2013, to January 2, 2013?

    Yes, this is a common problem. You have several alternatives, including the complexity of nothing to the extension of the technique:

    (1) Nothing (easy!). Yes, 3 additional days are taken off this year, which could take the employee in a negative balance. But who will be postponed when you run Report, so it nets out once you get to the next year. That's what I usually do: zero customization.
    (2) If you own work schedules in Oracle and the duration of absence is calculated automatically and employees cannot override, you can build and run a custom program that splits the absence in two, using the work schedule for the calculation of each side of the year.
    (3) you can prevent employees from that incoming first with a hook of the user, instead asking them to enter two separate absences.
    (4) as a matter of procedure, you can ask people not to do it and have a regular report on exceptions and deal with them manual business process (e.g., liaising with employee to separated)
    (5) you could build a SOUL rule that routes the absences covering calendar year to an additional approver that refers to the absence of correction, asking them to separate out.

    To change the rate of datalogging, you will need to use the timing of the loop. You can do this with a (better) timed loop or with vi timing structure (for example, wait until the next multiple) in the loop (good). This knowledge base article, he explains in detail,

    Don't know what you mean by "attributes".

    You change a file name in Vista right click on the file and then left-click 'Rename' or by clicking the file to select it by pressing F2. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

    I have run this command as an administrator file and the BIT key appears in the registry with Windows Update work very well.

    The problem is that the changes in the registry is not taken into account for the next boot of Windows 7

    Is it a straight issue of permissions on this key? I have change the owner as an administrator?

    Maybe the virus or parts of it is still there. Here are some tests I ran:

    • Reboot safe mode to check if the problem persists.
    • Restart in Repair Mode, and then load the system hive (probably located on drive C :) to check if the key has survived the shutdown process.
    • Create the artificial key HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BITSTest and fill it with some values and data to see if the problem affects a new key or if it focuses on the BITS.
    My own attitude is that an infected machine is a compromised machine. I don't have the time or patience to do battle with these facilities.

    I discovered that a VMS VMDK files have a different name for the virtual machine itself, then someone changed the name of the virtual machine after you have created the records

    I had to do it a few times, will try to document the process that I follow.  If you have many warehouses of data, then make a note of what data store, the machine is in.  The next step is to unregister the virtual machine from vCenter / ESXi

    Then, you need to enable SSH on your ESXi host

    Use Putty or something similar for you connect to the ESXi host

    Run the following commands (in italics)

    cd vmfs/volumes / that is, if the data store that contains the virtual computer is named datastore1 then you would run cd/vmfs/volumes/datastore1

    Then run ls to verify that the virtual machine file is here

    Rename the folder by using mv

    Change to the folder with cd

    Rename the nvram, vmsd, vmx and running again is to say the mv

    MV oldname.nvram newname.nvram

    MV oldname.vmsd newname.vmsd

    MV oldname.vmx newname.vmx

    MV 1234.hlog - oldname newname - 1234.hlog

    Rename the vmdk with vmkfstools EI oldname.vmdk newname.vmdk

    I need to increase the length of a CHAR of a table data type column (currently it's tank (3) and you want to change to char (4)). Here are more details on the table:-

    • Contains more than 20 million lines.
    • Table contains several indexes.
    • Table is referenced by several tables (about 60 tables) and it refers to several tables (about 3)
    • Table has 4 complex triggers. Triggers call procedures and packages.

    What I've tried so far


    1 disabled all triggers and ran ALTER statement to increase the length. It took hours and did not finish in a reasonable amount of time, even if no error, but it took more than 12 hours.

    2 tried DBMS_REDEFINITION package but it does not work with the standard version of Oracle 10 g.

    -Create a copy (with increased column length) table of OLD_T1, Say NEW_T1

    -Move data from in OLD_T1 to the new table NEW_T1

    -Lower OLD_T1 (or rename it to OLD_T1_TMP)

    -Rename NEW_T1 to OLD_T1

    -Create all indexes, triggers, constraints etc..

    I wish to confirm, if my approach is correct? Or someone has a better idea to do this?

    Please note: I know that the CHAR data type gives the problem but it is an old system and I don't have authority to change the design of database.
