  The first question for you is if you have a Windows DVD system disk or a partition of your drive hard that you installed Windows from? The second question is if you have a laptop or desktop computer, and if the SSD is already installed on your computer and formatted?   I know that André you already given instructions but I would like to point out that I said that you "the executable vmware-vdiskmanager should be located in the working directory of the installation of VMware Workstation."

  The 'working directory' is typically where the program was installed and I does not have an explicit path because I didn't know whether or not your using the 32-bit version or 64-bit Windows 7.

  BTW in the example that andre has given, it won't work if you use a 64-bit Windows 7 and installed VMware Workstation version to its default location.  You will need to use the following for the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

  "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\VMware\VMware Workstation\vmware-vdiskmanager.exe"
