  If the product is activated it will give the option to disable under the Help menu. Also whenever you launch Acrobat it will bring activation window if it requires one.

  You can try to contact Adobe and see if they can help. See if you can find a proof of purchase of the old version.

• Acrobat Standard DC - can't change the text and text box properties

  Earlier this week, I lost the ability to change the properties of the text and text boxes.

  When I add a comment with a text box or in the text caption, I do all the time, I used to be able to change the font color, size, alignment, etc.

  Now, when I go to insert a text box or the legend, all the options in the properties bar are grayed out.

  This issue effects ONLY the text in the box and the caption functions. all the other drawing functions work very well. I can change the color, fill and the type of lines around the text, I can just change the text.

  Any suggestions?

  It is a document Reader compatible, so all you should have to do is that it tells you to do inside it. In other words, save a copy, and then open this new file and you should be able to make changes. Don't forget to save a copy before activate you reader again.

• Text not lining correctly in the form fillable. Acrobat 9 Pro

  I have a number of documents created in MS Word and then I converted them to PDF via Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. A number of these documents have text fields as the end user is typing their data in - example: a message box on a fax cover page.

  The original Word document has this region bordered like this:

  At the show (as shown above) is transformed as a field in the field "add" to the form in Adobe Acrobat I'm removing the individual fields Adobe "detects" and instead making a large box of content.

  Under properties, I have "multiline" and "long scroll text" selected.

  Now the problem... for some unknown reason... some fields work perfectly that when typing in the PDF, fill-in form that the text is typed aligns perfectly with the lines (as shown above). In other cases it is not the tail at all.

  I played with the font size, font type, spacing on the original Word document. I've scoured the forums without success and internet (ask anyone else or I do not use the appropriate search terms).

  

  Can someone help me or point me in the right direction?

  You have no direct control of the attack of a multiline text field. A common approach is to control the background color of the field with JavaScript, because the lines are not really necessary when the field is used in Reader/Acrobat. They can be useful when you use the form by hand. • Share in the Acrobat Connect Pro virtual classroom courses?

  Ah, HTML5 is the problem. Connect is a Flash application and does not support HTML5. If you publish a version SWF of your Captivate projects and make a run, it should load in the room.

  Your serial number is only valid for the product that has been assigned.  Adobe doesn't sell older version of their software, so if you want to get a new license and the old version, you will need to find a third-party provider for it.  When it comes to the purchase of the questions, you are better to talk to Adobe directly than through these forums.

  I need to add some text in incoming calls dialog box. This dialog box typically displays incoming call name and number when the call comes on the device. I want to show the text in addition to this information on the same screen.

  I tried to show the alert, but dialogue of incoming call has priority max and alert comes so after hanging up the phone.

  Try Adobe Acrobat X (10) download Direct Pro, player links and more | ProDesignTools. You have to go a bit to the bottom of the page. This time make a backup on CD or backup HD for the future. You need to back up any software you buy and download. The link will generally not be there forever.

  Welcome to the community!

  Acrobat pro and Standard versions are separated from each other and must be installed separately, there is no provision for ugrade in the product.
