Change the JDK path

Hello

I would like to change the JDK my WLS uses another version that I installed.

It now points to the value default JDK in my server, I'm not comfortable with.

Can I know where can I put it so that it points to the other version without affecting the use my server?

Please let me know if I'm not clear, thank you.

P.S WLS 9.2

Hello

You must find the current JDK in your installation of software and your field and replace the path with the path to your new JDK.

Under Linux, you can do:

grep -R jrockit90_150_06 /pathToMySoftwareDir/

If you are using Linux/Unix, then it is easy to replace it through sed. Here are some examples:

sed -i 's/\/data\/app\/bea\/product\/wls92\/jrockit90_150_06/\/data\/app\/bea\/product\/jrockit-jdk1.5.0_24-R28.1.0-4.0.1/g' /data/app/bea/product/wls92/utils/bsu/bsu.sh
sed -i 's/\/data\/app\/bea\/product\/wls92\/jrockit90_150_06/\/data\/app\/bea\/product\/jrockit-jdk1.5.0_24-R28.1.0-4.0.1/g' /data/app/bea/domains/mydomain/bin/setDomainEnv.sh

Moreover, we have started using softlink/symbolic links as an alias for the installation of Java. Then you most recent must do again the above operation. Here are the commands for Linux and Windows:

ln -s /data/app/bea/product/jrockit-jdk1.5.0_28-R28.1.3-4.0.1 /data/app/bea/product/java_current

mklink /d D:\oracle\product\java_current D:\oracle\product\jrockit-jdk1.6.0_24-R28.1.3-4.0.1

  • Please give instructions how to change the JDK

    Hello!

    I installed Oracle SQL Developer 1.5.4 the provided on my Windows 2008 x 64 developer computer JDK 1.5.0_06.
    As I still have the very annoying "scrolling" problem as I did with previous versions of OSD, I tried fixing it by changing the JDK, such as it is described here:
    [http://java2go.blogspot.com/2007/09/sqldeveloper-trick.html]

    So I installed the last JDK for my OS (x 64) but without success. In any config file I put the SetJavaHome property I always get the OSD message "could not find a Machine Java virtual...» "even if the property is set in sqldeveloper.conf by OSD (SetJavaHome C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_13).

    Please give me a hint how to solve what I really tired of not being able to scroll through as I can in other applications since the time of scrolling was invented.

    Thanks in advance.

    Yours,

    Hmm, just did it again. Works fine for me.
    The only exception is that I use Win32.

    Try a 32 bit JDK.

  • How to change the download path or location in android fire fox

    Please give me answer, I'm not able to download any file

    When you try to download a file, you get an error message?

    By default, Firefox for Android uses the Android downloads folder because its default download location. You can change this as follows.

    Change the download location on Firefox for Android, please visit the topic: configuration preferences editor. You need to change two different settings to make this work.

    First, you must know the path of the folder to use. An application like ES File Explorer file manager will be useful if you do not have a file manager.

    (1) open a new tab to Subject: config (type about: config the Awesomebar and hit the arrow go or tap Enter).

    You can bookmark it for easy future access.

    (2) in the search box, type down and press enter

    3 scroll to browser.download.folderList and tap on modify, then change the value from 1 to 2 (from 'by default always' to the 'last used folder'). The change should appear after a few seconds.

    (3) scroll back up and press the big button "+" to the left of the search box to add a new parameter

    (A) the name of the preference should be browser.download.dir (this option stores the last used directory)

    (B) on the right side, type Boolean and in the popup, change it to a String

    (C) the value is based on the folder you want. For example:

    /sdcard/FxDown

    (D) then click on create (if you are too slow, it can erase and you will have to start)

    If you go back to your other tab and download something, it should go to the new folder.

    A little luck?

  • FMS4 - How to change the default path (rtmp://serverName/vod/ to rtmp://serverName/sites/)?

    We had before installed FMS2 and the paths to all of our videos are like rtmp://ServerName/sites/... (the default path on FMS2) Now upgrade us to FMS4 and we want to keep these roads even because we have a lot to HTML that reference these videos. However, the default path on FMS4 is rtmp://ServerName/vod/... Is there a way to change the "vod" to "sites"?

    I tried to change VOD_COMMON_DIR in fms.ini/install_dir/webroot/vod/install_dir/webroot/sites and also changed the document root in the httpd.conf file, but rtmp://ServerName/sites/ still does not work.

    Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

    You can copy your old folder "sites" in the folder "applications" of your new installation of fms. Restart the server and see if your old HTML pages work fine

    Hi ChirOn,

    I have no configuration of IIS for me to test this, but this gives a shot:

    To redirect requests to another Web site or directory

    1. in the services manager IIS, expand the local computer, right-click on the Web site or directory you want to redirect, and click Properties.
    2. click on the home directory, virtual directory, or Directory tab.
    3. under content from this source should come from, click a redirection to a URL.
    4. in redirecting to the zone, type the URL of the directory of destination or of the Web site. For example, to redirect all requests for files in the directory of the catalogue to the NewCatalog directory, type/NewCatalog.

    Good luck!

    Best regards

  • Is there a way to change the installation path by default for adobe flash player?

    I recently installed an ssd and wanted only to have my operating system installed on it and any other installed on another hard drive, but it does not give me an option on where to install flash player. Is it possible to install it on a secondary hard drive?

    Because it is a "plug-in" for your browser, it cannot reside on a different drive. It won't work. Since it is a plugin, it is part of your operating system, essentially, especially if you are using IE. The plugin is only 17.6 MB, so it does NOT take a lot of space on the drive in what's your concern.

  • Replace JDK path in ODI 12 c

    Hello

    Does anyone know how to change the JDK path in ODI Studio 12 c (Windows Server)?

    It is very easy in 11G (setJavaHome to odi.conf) but does not work in 12 c

    I read Doc-ID 1982740.1 but nothing useful

    To change the path to the JDK in ODI Studio 12 c

    Navigate to the following directory (replace "exampleuser" by your windows account name):

    On Windows XP:

    C:\Documents and programa\odi\1.0.0.0.0 Settings\exampleuser\Datos

    On a Windows 7:

    C:\Users\exampleuser\AppData\Roaming\odi

    Publishing file 'product.conf', it is the content should be something like this:

    SetJavaHome C:\Archivos programa\Java\jdk1.7.0_79

    Change java JDK path with the desired value.

  • RMAN duplicate grave crashes when I'm trying to change the paths of the destination

    Hello community,

    I am trying to duplicate a database of PROD for a test environment using the basic backup technique. I test the script in double and everything works fine when the paths of the database "auxiliary" (the database that I am creating) have the same paths as the basis of the 'target' (the database of production). If I change the paths, the double has failed because it does not find a backup of controlfile:

    channel ch1: from the restore backup set data file

    channel ch1: restore the control file

    channel ch1: reading of the backup piece PROD_cf_c-2175092736-20151204-0 c

    channel ch1: ORA-19870: error when restoring backup piece PROD_cf_c-2175092736-20151204-0 c

    «"ORA-19507: failed to retrieve the sequential file, handle ="PROD_cf_c-2175092736-20151204-0 c", parms ="»

    ORA-27029: skgfrtrv: sbtrestore returned error

    ORA-19511: error received from layer media manager, error text:

    < PROD_cf_c-2175092736-20151204-0 c > backup file not found in the NetBackup catalog

    This is the script that works, but if I have the same structure of directories in PROD and TEST (but this isn't a real scenario):

    run

    {

    allocate auxiliary channel ch1 device type sbt;

    Send "NB_ORA_CLIENT = xxx NB_ORA_POLICY = xxx, NB_ORA_SCHED = Full_Diario';"

    duplicate database for TEST PROD

    until 'sysdate-2/24.

    NOFILENAMECHECK;

    output channel ch1.

    }

    And this is the script that it does not work because I have the PROD and TEST different directory structure

    run

    {

    allocate auxiliary channel ch1 device type sbt;

    Send "NB_ORA_CLIENT = xxx NB_ORA_POLICY = xxx, NB_ORA_SCHED = Full_Diario';"

    duplicate database for TEST PROD

    until 'sysdate-2/24.

    SPFile

    control_files value ' / TEST/orabd1/ctl/control_PROD_01.ctl','/TEST/oralog1/ctl/control_PROD_02.ctl','/TEST/oralog2/ctl/control_PROD_03.ctl '

    db_file_name_convert value "/ PROD /", "/ TEST / '.

    the value log_file_name_convert "/ PROD /", "/ TEST / '.

    core_dump_dest value "/ TEST/oralog1/cdump".

    the value 'TEST' db_name

    Set diagnostic_dest ' /TEST/oralog2'

    instance_name must bring 'TEST'.

    all local_listener 'LISTENER_TEST '.

    Set log_archive_dest_1 ' LOCATION = / TEST/arch.

    the value of log_archive_dest_2 'LOCATION = NULL'

    ;

    output channel ch1.

    }

    I tried to restore a Netbackup file and it works. I try to duplicate a database when the structures of directories are identical and it works. Why it's a failure when I change the destination paths?

    Thank you!

    Marina.

    Hello

    We had a similar problem in our shop. In our case, that we never knew if she was related to Oracle or NetBackup, but we found a Bug of Oracle, so we think it was a problem with the Oracle.

    Bug 11783792  RMAN SEND command does not hold the value of the variable

    DOC - ID 11783792.8

    Rather than send 'NB_ORA_CLIENT = DCLI, NB_ORA_POLICY is BD_DC_2, NB_ORA_SCHED = Full_Diario';.

    try something like this:

    Run {}

    allocate channels ch01 type 'sbt_tape' PARMS 'ENV =(NB_ORA_CLIENT=DCLI) ";

    Send "NB_ORA_SERV =';"

    Restore settings

    output channel ch01.

    }

    Let me know if it helps.

  • An excerpt from CAN (can edit, change, etc.) created from a trace of the image paths? (CS6)

    Hiya Adobe community,

    This might me up a little, but a long time ago I used to use Freehand as my defacto design tool until I went to I. At that time, I also used "Rationalize" (http://www.adobe.com/products/streamline/) to perform the functions track image is today. While its results were a little rough, the software gave me the vector points, paths and acnhors that I needed. After all the traces, I could manually change the vector traces resulting.

    I have been using the CS6 tracing feature, but the only thing I can't understand for the life of me is the question of the "bounding box" for an imported picture. Whenever I have draw a drawing, tracing of AI results always placed a bounding box around the area of the vectorized image. My goal: to locate an item, get rid of the bounding box and extract contours and paths so that I can then change to my link.

    Is this possible? Im sure it is possible... I can not find how. (Or I do the wishes of crack?) Everything I have said, if Streamline allowed me to change the track paths, so it would be a shame if AI CS6 is not.

    See the image attached for some content. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Select your tracing and go to the Image Trace > Expand

    You may also then dissociate

    When I load software on my computer he always asks the K: drive. Could you please inform me where I can go in to C:.  My K: is my external hard drive.  Thank you Dee

    Here is the procedure to change the default path for the installation of software on Vista:http://www.mydigitallife.info/2009/03/23/how-to-change-default-windows-installation-path-to-your-desired-path/.  In this case, you would choose a location on the C: drive (maybe C:\Program Files if it is still there - or create this folder if it is not).  Make a new folder in the directory root - don't bury it in another folder or even deeper.

    I hope this helps.
