Change the time format in Lightroom 6 of 12 hours (AM/PM) to 24 hours

Hello

I wonder if someone could hel me with that?

I can't find a way to change the format of the time preferred 12 hours to 24 hours. I use Lightroom 6 on a MacBook Pro with OS 11.1.1. I think the problem may stem from the fact that the format of the time at the time of the installation of LR6 was is 12 hours. I changed the format of the time preferred in the Finder to 24 hours, but it doesn't have an impact on the size LR6. What I have to reinstall LR for this problem or is there a way around it?

My camera (Nikon D700) is defined with the format 24 hours and photos uploaded in own Nikon viewnx2 on my computer is in 24-hour format. When I import photos LR6, they end up with the 12-hour format.

I expect that LR would have a panel where you can choose between 12 and setting the time 24 hours.

Someone at - it a way to solve this problem?

Kolbein

Clearly there is something different between your configuration and mine.

In which country did you buy and install Lightroom?

    Hello, I accidentally changed my time format phone from 24 hours to 12 hours (am/pm) and now when I switched it back I noticed the phone time got it wrong - 12 hours of rest. I had to manually set it to something like 23 because she thought that it is 11. Now the time has come, but the apps are totally confused and they think that it is at night when it of day and vice versa! It really * beep * when you need to know quickly if a bus is coming or don't use is not some app for it.

    I tried to reinstall an application but he still thinks that it is 12 hours less (or more), then it really is.

  • How to change the date format in Lightroom, when importing images?

    When you import into Lightroom, you get the following structure in Lightroom for Macintosh HD.

    Year-> Date.

    I want some level 3 like this structure.   Year-> month-> Date

    How to do this?

    Hi lennartr,

    When you import images, you can change the Date Format in "Copy as DNG, copy or move", but not in the Add box.

    On the right panel, you expand the Destination folder and change the Date Format.

    Let me know if it helps.

  • change the time format in general properties

    Morning all,

    This may seem like just me being pedantic, but I was wondering if...

    We can change the settings of the time displayed on the Properties tab, under general from seconds to minutes and seconds?

    In addition, also change it in the calendar when we choose for the option display "specific time"?

    Or should I try to get by in my head (which could take longer!)

    Concerning

    Dave

    No, you cannot change the settings for time in minutes and seconds.

    In about 10 years, creating eLearning with Captivate I don't remember a single instance where I wanted more than a few minutes on a single slide.  My modules are usually less than 7-10 minutes

    If you encounter situations where you slide that are always long for several minutes, then your modules should get too long (in my opinion).

    Perhaps you should consider Pierce your project across multiple slides.

    How can I change the time on my computer from 24 hour to 12 hour clock clock?

    Here is the method for Windows 7. If you are using Vista, there may be a slight difference, but basic procedures should be similar...

    Start > Control Panel > region and language > Format > more settings > time tab >

    under time format, set hh: mm hh: mm

    H = 24 hours

    h = 12 hours

    Click OK when finished.

  • Change the default format for burning discs of this system active files in the ISO image format

    How can I change the default format for burning discs of this system of active files to ISO image format?  I don't want the active file as the default system and really don't want to have to choose what I want to use the default every time.  It's boring. I have Vista x 64 on my computer and have not yet adapted to all the changes in XP.

    Thanks, but it's not useful.  It is more that an 'improvement' Microsoft did that, as I fear, is a total and far failure to be an improvement.  It also means that I'll just use a 3rd party program to burn all my CD/DVDs.  You know if I wanted to be able to remove, reformat, etc.. CD/DVD I would use those rewritable.  That's why they exist.

  • How to change the "time of capture" more than one photo at a specific time?

    Hi guys,.

    For some reason any I'm changing 'capture time' multiple photos at a time.

    I know there is some feature "Change the time to capture" in the metadata.

    But when I try to edit several photos, it is said that "change time to capture stored in the selected photos by entering the setting of the correct time for the picture to the left. "Other photos (but not vidieos) will be adjusted by the same amount of time. And it really does.

    For example,.

    If capture time of a file is 11/01/2011

    Record time of file B is 11/01/2012

    Time to save file C is 11/01/2013

    I would like to change the time of their capture at 11/01/2014. All three files.

    But the function 'Edit Capture time' being Lightroom adds just three years for each file like this:

    Time to capture a file-> 11/01/2014

    B file-> 11/01/2015

    C file-> 11/01/2016

    Thus their capture time stay as different. And it's not I want to...

    What should I do?

    I googled a lot and tried several programs other than lightroom as well, but the 'Capture time' recognized by lightroom couldn't be changed by other programs.

    I would greatly appreciate your help.

    Unless I don't understand the original poster, do you want to say there is a normal way to change the date of a selection of files in LR on the same date as the first option in the menu elements Organizer? I can't find in the change of date/time dialog box LR 5.3, but there must be a way to apply the same metadata through presets?

    From my experience, update the date taken for lots of photos is a common concern due to incorrectly the date/time in different cameras for an event value given.

    I used affecting several photos on the same date taken only in unusual situations in the Organizer. Maybe not worth a feature request if this option is really missing in LR.

  • How to change the time to capture batch?

    I have pictures of a trip holiday in Asia, taken with an iPhone 5s and a DSLR.

    The iPhone has the date / time correct.

    But unfortunately we forgot to change the time of the DSLR at local time too.

    So I started a task time consuming to sort photos by events into albums and then manually move the DSLR photos to the right position, as long as it can be guessed the content of the photos.

    I found the script of leonie change of lot with iPhoto, but I don't have iPhoto.

    Is it another clever way do, maybe with some kind of extension?

    Concerning

    You might have used a smart album to separate the photos in your library by camera model:

    File > new Smart album, and then use the rule of 'model camera's... ».

    But unfortunately we forgot to change the time of the DSLR at local time too.

    To pass the time of photos from your digital SLR to the local time, select all the photos in your album (or smart albums) and then use the command in Photos in the Image menu "Image > setting Date and Time.  In the Panel that opens, set the time zone to the location where you took photos.

  • On Apple Watch, how to change the time when traveling to a different country, like London or Singapore?

    For Apple Watch, can someone please show me how to change the time on my watch when I travel to another country, like London or Singapore? Thank you.

    Hello

    When traveling to a different time zone, it is not necessary to manually change the time on Apple Watch.

    After turning off the flight on each of your iPhone and Apple Watch, the time on your watch can be updated automatically to reflect the local time.

    If it is not the case, try restarting your watch:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off.

    -To reactivate: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

I misclicked by set up of windows 8 and taken the wrong time zone, forget I did what I leave the laptop itself implemented, I didn't know it until I had already installed and was on Skype. I thought nothing of it, changed the clock to the correct time and now all of a sudden every time I send a message on Skype it just sends me upward into the conversation. I got Skype running on my desktop and thought maybe that was it but atlast, no. I am only signed on this laptop and can't use Skype. I even downloaded an older version it and still no luck.

    I run a malware scan as I tpye this, but I don't think it'll be very successful. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

    In fact, I just thought to it. So I got to do some time apparently traveling thanks to me by clicking on the wrong time, I was 3 hrs behind, always in August 3. When I changed the time zone, he just changed the time and NOT the date. So, I was in the good times but the wrong date. Skype has been send all my messages and everything everyone elses to August 3 instead of 4 August 03:00 03:00. I feel like a complete fool for overlooking it, but I just thought that it would change the date with time.

    Not enough information.  You have provided no context.  You don't say what version of Windows you are using and you don't really describe the situation in many details.  Reading between the lines, it looks like you have a child who has time on the Internet you want to limit.  You do not tell us what tools you use to control this limit online, so it is difficult to recommend the right forum for your post.  Please update your message with a more detailed description of what is happening and what you want to do.

    One thing that comes to mind is using Live Parental control with a Netgear router.  See http://www.netgear.com/lpc.  LPC uses the service OpenDNS (http://www.opendns.com/)
