  No code is required... .click on the object in question and the object palette click the value tab and the 1st drop down menu called Type will have settings that allow you to set the initial state of the field.

  The type of card is not a mandatory option for the order form work. You can remove it and place an image of the cards excepted, if your merchant provider except Discover it's all you need.

• When I try to change a simple contact form the editing box disappears when I click it - any ideas?

  I do the usual click on the form to change. The black box 'options' is displayed, but no click of the mouse on any part of the area (including the bit that needs editing) makes the whole box disappear.  Someone knows a way around until this bug is fixed - I have clients to lose the potential of contacts and money!

  I found a temporary solution - I went back to the previous version of Muse (I had only updated earlier today) and the context menu was still working.

  I must admit to being disappointed with the last version; my mouse button does not work on some sections and I have to resort to using the keyboard arrows to navigate. I stick with the older one who works until a few other updates have arrived. TIP - don't uninstall previous versions or save files (use a new name for each version of muse) - you will need them!

  By chance, I came up with this workaround. Of course there are other methods to get your data from a web - app, but if you want to use the 'Web apps search form', it would be a workaround.

  I noticed that the "Web apps entry form" contains all the fields of web applications for your web application (including the fields of the data source).

  It is possible to add the fields to the form of the "Web apps entry form" in the «Web apps search form»

  If you insert the "Web apps entry form" on a blank page, you will see all the fields in your web App including the "data source fields. The names of form fields contain something like.

• How can I change the status to "Enabled" to a button when a user of data changes in a field on a form?

  On my page of form, I have 3 buttons marked: commit, Undo, done respectively.  When the form opens, popuplated with the data, the validation buttons and cancellation are disabled (designed in this way in design mode).  When the user changes the data in any field, I would like the "Done" button become disabled and the validation buttons and cancellation become activated.   How can I 'say' Commit and Undo buttons become enabled on data changes?

  Emre is correct, that you can do only with a formula. Note If you use a string PD type, the formula will display the value not on its label. This is useful if you want the label to be something that is easy to use, but the value can be a code or an abbreviation that is used elsewhere.

  Also an Emre says the formula field will be read-only, but can concatenate the value of the RFP by another string (entered manually, already on the form, of an another PD,...) implement a longer string. This type of approach is sometimes used to define the structures of coding for the elements.

  If you have an integer PD, then you can have the Boolean logic built into the form. Let's look at an example. You have an amount field that you want to split and or show it is Capital or a time-based fees. You can set the following configuration:

  • Amount: currency
  • Type: Costs of Capital (1), (2) [Note: If no value is selected, it will evaluate as a 0]
  • Amount of capital = Type * (Type 2) * amount
  • Fees = Type * (Type - 1) * amount / 2

  The results are:

  • If nothing is selected, the Type is 0, and the other two amounts are 0.
  • If the Capital is selected, the amount of Capital will be defined (1 * 1 * amount) and the amount of spending is 0.
  • If the expenditure is selected, amount of expenditure will be defined (2 * 1 * amount/2) and the amount of Capital is 0.

  This logic can be extended to any number of options of PD, but the logic is quite complicated, and it's basically hard. If you want to change the options later, then this is a great company to make the change.

  Hey Ian!

  Appearently, you can take full control over the default search with a custom script menu item. This is an example how to do this in the Custom_InCallDetails.js file:

  Unfortunately this change script default for a user permanently. So if he had put any custom value before it is crushed.

  If you need to keep the default values personalized search menu, maybe you need further customization to store the user selected value in a wrapper environment and set the value to return if necessary (just an idea).

  I put a few fields of free text and immediately next to him (free text field), I placed a box, fine.

  (3) tell user began to enter data into the free text field, immedtiately the box is hidden/greyed... well... but in following second user changed mind and wiped/blotted out met data from the field text free and transformed back empty... in this case, the check box should become visible/editable state (of hideen/intoxicated state).

  Preferably, visible and hidden makes more fancy

  Pls let me know the JavaScript to achieve my requirement and I guess, I need to write this suggetsed JS changes I am correct?

  I have a form that has a behavior applied insert record. I wish I could put a number in one of the fields on form that begins with the letter from scratch (i.e. 010507). The problem is that when I insert a number starting with zero, the first zero of the number gets abandoned when it is entered into the database. This has happened even when I tried to change the number to text field type in Access.

  Oh, I didn't change the field type 'text' in the dialog record insertion as well.
