Changes in orientation (landscape, portrait)?

Hello!... This is the situation, I want to detect the orientation of the camera... If it is in the landscape, do something and if it is mode portrait, do something different... I have just import the mobile libraries of jquery and I created a test project.

I inserted the code in the compositionReady event

$( window ).on( "orientationchange", function( event ) {
alert( "This device is in " + event.orientation + " mode!" );

});

It works, but I want to apply a conditional when the orientation changes to do something.

Help, please!

Hello

A few explanations: Orientation

A demo file: orientationChange_upgraded.zip - box

Now jQuery Mobile:

$( window ).on( "orientationchange", function( event ) {

if (event.orientation == "landscape" ){ doSomething } else { doSomething } ;

});

    I just download iOS7 on my iPad.

    iOS7 changed my fixed in portrait orientation fixed bad iOS7 on my iPad in landscape orientation

    for an app, I did in Flash CS 5.5.

    I did not have this problem in iOS6.

    Anyone encountered this problem?

    Does anyone know how to fix this for iOS7?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    This is not correct, you don't have to export AIR 3.4. The most recent is 3.8 and the difference is huge for overall consistency. Please do not export to 3.4.

    Download the latest version of the AIR SDK:

    http://www.Adobe.com/devnet/air/air-SDK-download.html

    Unzip it anywhere that you want to save your SDK. I put mine in the file Flash CS6 (Note: 3.8 on the picture file does not exist, you have to do and you can call it anything you like.) I used 3.8 clarity and the convention.).

    If you have CS6 then simply point to the new SDK (help-> manage AIR SDK-[+] button, point to the location of the SDK)

    for example

    If you have access to just use it more CS5.5 CS6. If you must use CS5.5 then you can google a lot of resources on the way to well to overlay AIR SDK on CS5.5.

    Hello. This article may be useful: iPhoto for iOS (iPhone): culture, straighten, or rotate a photo

    Info taken from this article:

    To crop the photo, do one of the following:

    • A photo of a standard (or size) image format, the value such as 2 by 3 inches: touch > size.
    • Customize the size of the image and the positioning of the photo: drag the edge of the photo to change the size of the image, and then drag the picture to reposition in the framework.
    • You can pinch with two fingers to zoom in and adjust the picture inside the frame.
  • How a screenshot will develop to fit full page orientation landscape?

    I can't conversion of screenshots in full width on a landscape Orientation.

    I use Word 2011 and the reminder that the use of a much earlier version, it was a simple 2-steps - PrintScreen and then Ctrl V for import into a template that I had previously prepared in some way change the screenshot when importing to full width in Landscape Orientation.

    Of course, what makes for better visibility and I sure would appreciate it if someone could remember how to do it.

    I found a working workaround, it helps Snipping Tool and then paint and finally the copy. But surely there must be a way more zippier to change a screenshot from Portrait to landscape full width.

    There is no word 2011. And here is a link to the Word forums:

  • How to know which mode (landscape/portrait) user is in

    How can you tell / changing your screen settings in html5/webworks if the user changes the orientation of the device?

    You can use the object and the window.orientation of JavaScript orientationchange event.  Here's a demo:

    You can also use CSS3 media queries, define styles for portrait and landscape.  Here's a demo of it too:

  • Disabling the orientation landscape

    I use jdev 12.1.3

    Please let me know how to turn off the orientation landscape for my application?

    concerning

    Deepak

    At the moment we do not provide an option for that.  Probably because it is frowned upon by Android developers to restrict the application to a particular orientation (see: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/6581120/how-to-make-an-application-to-run-in-portrait-mode-only), but also no doubt, this would be true for iOS too, and yet we do not provide the options there.

    I will raise an ER for us to add this as an option for the Android deployment profile, because it is technically possible to modify the androidmanifest.xml to do this, ignoring best practices.

    Your solution for now is to locate the AndroidManifestr.template.xml file in the /jdeveloper/jdev/extensions/oracle.maf/Android directory and add the following (according to the stackoverflow example):

    Android: screenOrientation = "portrait".

    .. .to the relative activities.  I tried adding it to all activities, but you can work through a test of elimination what activities it is necessary.

    Note You must remember that you have modified the JDev AndroidManifest.template.xml file and change for future application development.

  • DPS Preflight show app in landscape, portrait

    Hello

    In DPS 2015, I have my Android app set to "portrait", both for tablets and phones. However, when I publish my content of preflight and open it on my Tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab E), content is presented in the landscape. Can anyone enlighten me on what I am doing wrong?

    Paul

    A little more in detail about it, that's great, once you understand...

    Upstream DPS, when looking at my projects you can rotate your device. The project view will turn. If you tap on a project to see the content, maps, etc. and that you hold the camera in landscape - you can display the project in the landscape.

    Back to my projects, change the orientation of the device and open a project - you view it in whatever direction was active when you entered the project.

    Do this with HTML articles who have requests for information can be really tripy!

  • Changes in Orientation screen Inspiron 20 3043 (mid-2014)

    Hello everyone.

    I bought 5 Dell Inspiron AIO 20 recently.  They are 1-use machines (clock connect/disconnect).  1 is a backup, 3 are sitting on top of table waiting for input... nothing special, and 1 is mounted on a wall by 90 degrees counterclockwise.  It must be this way because of the space and limits of the power supply cord.  When the system is turned on, sometimes in orientation landscape as all other systems.  Then in point 8.1 Windows Pro, I change the orientation of the display in Portrait (reversed) and everything is fine... until I need to reboot the system (which is normally because that the touch screen freezes... but that's a debate for another forum).  Then, he returned to landscape orientation.

    My question is how to keep the orientation of the display in Portrait upside down?

    Appreciate any help.

  • change the orientation of the timeline after turning the video

    I change a few videos of the iPhone which was shot in vertical, and then moved to landscape while shooting it.

    The result is a vertical video that must be changed in landscape, I could make using the transformation function.

    Now, the video will appear in the display window in the landscape, which is what I want, but the video editing is always horizontal. How can also change the orientation in the timeline panel so it will be easier to edit?

    I remember doing this in iMovie and the porthole and orientation of the timeline has changed at the same time.

    Thanks for your help!

    My difficulty was to use iMovie to change the orientation, then using "Send Movie Final Cut Pro."

    In iMovie, I clicked on the button crop, which then revealed the rotation buttons.

    Direction then changed as well in the viewing window as well as the timeline. then I went to > file > film send to Final Cut Pro

    I would like to know if there is a way to do all this in FCP.

    Thank you!

  • I installed a seocond monitor. How can I change the orientation of the screen on a monitor?

    I use the second monitor to view the documents. For a complete view of the document, I want to landscape orientation. I turned the monitor, but cannot change the orientation.

    John

    This will be using the graphics card, in the display properties, if your card supports the use of two monitors independently and different directions, you'll be fine. I have never tried this way, I use two independent monitors both the same way. I'm guessing that you may need a high-end or enough new graphics card.

  • Hi, how do I change the orientation of the page with headers and footers for facing pages

    Hello

    How to change the orientation of the page with headers and footers for facing pages in CS5

    Turning the page is only for the formatting of data - the page is not literally transformed for printing.

    In most print even if the pages of a book are enabled for the landscape, the header and the footer are still in the same position.

    If you need pages in landscape mode with headers and footers in a different location - you need to do these pages in the section "Master Pages" of the Pages panel

    Then apply these new Master Pages to the pages in your document.

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/InDesign/using/master-pages.html

    Note - it is not usual to have a different orientation for the headers and footers.

  • Crop tool changes its orientation

    I have a cropping preset guidance tool landscape size, I took photos for a book: data merge, I do every year. With CS6, I noticed something new and annoying; If I move the cropping tool too far to the left, it automatically changes the acreage of portrait. If this is supposed to be a feature, it's a unwelome plus one. If my screening of harvest is landscape, it's what I want. I would like to know if there is a way to disable this "feature".

    Have you tried changing the setting tool of harvest to use Classic mode. I don't know if it will do the trick. CS6 cropping tool has been reworked. Many do not like to rework it?
