Changes of time randomly in the selector

All,

Anyone else notice that Foglight seems to change time on his own? I only noticed this since 5.6.5. As you can see in the example, Foglight randomly has been scaling back an hour from where I can.

your period is frozen (as the red indicator around the sign of the clock)

If you pass the mouse over it, you will notice a message indicating that the time is frozen in the past and say that you can click on the dial of the clock to unlock the time.

There are some actions in Foglight which automatically stop time (for example dig on an alert, digging in a trace). If after this zoom you do not return to the original dashboard in the bread crumb (top of page) but go to a dashboard different Foglight has frozen time so you can investigate any other dashboards in the same time (see for other problems that may have caused the problem that started your investigation/drill down).

I hope this helps.

  • HP G72 laptop with win 7 ultra randomly grave time and also the internet connection

    I have two laptops running wireless, HP and an old Dell with XPS. The Dell works well with wireless and Wired internet and printer. The two laptops are side by side and wireless to the router provided by my ISP, Time Warner. The Hp also works very well with/wireless internet and to the printer until it disconnects from the internet/printer, date in which I simply turn off the Radio by using the f12 key and then re - turn on the radio with the key and continue my work. Sometimes the interval on maybe 20 minutes and a few hours. The computer loses the date/time, also on some different random intervals and reset it as well as the internet delivered to a server provides only temporary reset for a random period. Seems one of the ntp servers provides longer periods of internet connection than most other servers, including those of the nist.

    It's way on my ability to fix, but from what I have learned, it seems this could be a timing issue applicable to both the disconnect from the internet and issues of specifying unstable computer date to the portable win 7 only.

    I'd certainly appreciate any suggestions on how to solve these two problems.

    On March 8, I used Microsoft FIX IT to automatically reset the TCP/IP as suggested and restarted the computer and then reset the time. I haven't changed the time zone and guess that change from time to time would happen automatically. From that moment, the internet remains connected and the date / time is correct at the new time after 21hours which is encouraging. I do not understand how to reset TCP/IP would correct the problem of random disconnection of the internet, but I'll be glad if these two issues are cured and can only express my thanks to all who responded.

  • My PC clock and date always change when I turn on the PC. How can I get the time to stay the same / correct?

    Hello. Not sure if I have come to the right place with my question. I have Windows XP Home Edition.  My PC clock and date change every time I turn on my PC.  I set the time and date when I turn it on, but then when the PC was interrupted and I next turn to the, (after a period of time) the time and date will be incorrect - a few months and hours.  I have looked for ways to solve this problem, but couldn't find anything.  Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi Anti-A,

    -Remember to make changes to your computer before this problem started to happen?
    -You are using a laptop or a desktop computer?

    Determine if the loss of time is the result of a weak computer battery. Follow these steps to do the same thing:

    a. click Start, point to programsand then click MS-DOS prompt.

    b. at the command prompt, type time and then press ENTER.

    c. compare this time with the time shown by the clock in the taskbar.

    d. Type exit and press ENTER.

    If the computer's time and the time on the clock are different, the computer's battery may be too low for accurate time, and it must be replaced. For more information on how to replace the battery, refer to the documentation that came with your computer.

  • The computer did not resync because the time limit was the big change

    Hello

    Initial synchronization problem title: the time in Windows 7 Ultimate edition.
    I have problem with the clock of the computer, I did search but could not find the solution.
    I bought a workstation HP xw8600 outside of the server to lease on Kijiji and installed Windows 7 ultimate.
    My clock is waste of time why I tried following options.
    1. I changed the COMS battery - did not work
    2. I update BIS version - did not work.
    3. I try to implement the interim solution of calendar, a task to synchronize at startup time. by using two commands on
    net start w32time
    w32tm/Resync.
    by doing this, I found that I can't run these commands I need to run these as an administrator, I am able to run these commands in a command window (only if I open the cmd window using the option "Run s administrator". all how create script but and create a shortcut to this script, the value of running as an administrator) When I double click the short cut, it works but do not work in Task Scheduler. After that, I became busy on another work and returned to this question now, the script gives me this error "I don't me the resync computer because the time limit was the big change."
    So there are lost of the question, please advice the best Yes solution of this problem.
    Thank you

    Hello

    Method 1:
    You can synchronize the clock of the computer with a time server Internet. This means that your computer's clock is updated to match the clock on the time server, which can help ensure that your computer's clock is accurate. Your clock is usually updated once a week and must be connected to the Internet during synchronization to occur.
    1. open the Date and time by clicking the button of theStart, clicking Control Panel, click clock, language, and region, and then clicking the Date and time.
    2 click ' time tab Internet and then click on change settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    3. Select the next toSynchronize box with a time server Internet, select a time server, and then click OK.
    Note
    If your computer is on a domain, you cannot synchronize your clock with a time server Internet.

    Method 2:
    I also suggest you to check whether your computer time zone settings have been set based on your current location.
    You can check the link below to adjust the time zone correctly-

    to get the name of the current timezonbe, you can ask the CalendarService

        // cut the seconds
        nowUtcIso = nowUtcIso.split("T").at(0) + "T"
                + nowUtcIso.split("T").at(1).left(6) + "00Z";
        QString day = nowIso.left(10);
        QLocale locale = QLocale().system();
        QString dayFormatted = locale.toString(QDate::fromString(day, Qt::ISODate),
                bb::utility::i18n::dateFormat(locale,
                        bb::utility::i18n::DateFormat::Medium));
        QString hhmm = nowIso.split("T").at(1).left(5);
        QString timeZone = mConnectedCalendar->currentCalendarTimeZone();
        QString suffix = currentTimeZoneSuffix(now);
        map.insert("weekday", weekdayLocalized(day));
        map.insert("day", day);
        map.insert("dayFormatted", dayFormatted);

    Hello

    You really need a minimum of at least 2GBs of RAM to run Windows 7 well enough.

    As you have only 1 GB of RAM, which seems to be one of the reasons why it is slow.

    Increase the physical RAM or try ReadyBoost:

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/using-Windows-ReadyBoost-to-increase-performance/

    Looks like you have some problems.

    Wrong Date/time

    If after you set the Date and time, and then stop and restart your machine and the time returns to the year 2008, and she did this whenever you reset, then restart the PC you have a CMOS battery has failed in the motherboard.

    They cost about $5 and are easy to replace.
