date and time to the 05/12/2013 times randomly changes

After that I updated to El Capitan (it seems) on my iMac.  My date and time system randomly change the incorrect time and back to 05/12/2013.   I see nothing tripping in particular.  Just all of a sudden my browser does not open a page... etc.   I have open system preferences, click "date and time", click on the padlock to open, enter my password and it immediately changes back up to the exact date and the second that it is free time.  I can't reset it for me.  I tried to leave the bolt open, unchecking the checkbox "do this automatically" & leaving auto.  Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why and how to solve this problem, please?   Thank you

  • Why my computer date and time keep changing to 01/01/2003

I change the date and time of my lap top, according to the laptop for a while and turn on the date and time continue to change to 01/01/2003. I have not so much time to change, but... his problem keeps up to date of the.

Looks like your laptop CMOS battery needs to be replaced.  It is not the same battery that powers your laptop.  It is usually a battery of lithium-manganese dioxide of small coin shaped that resemble the shows big battery.  You should consult your instructions of the manufacturer on how to access and what type of battery is needed to replace it.

A simple call to your computer manufacturer should provide all the necessary information.

  • Why my computer date and time keep changing at 01/01/2008

My friend has a computer problem.

The date of his computer does not change since 01/01/2008, today's date. After the formatting as system, it is facing the same problem. He tried to change the date through the configuration of the BIOS. But after the reboot, the date is still helping 01/01/2008.Please. He got windows 7 ultimate SP1. Thank you for your patience for reading this.

There is a battery on the motherboard that stores configuration information, including the date and time.  It seems that if this battery should be replaced.  Check motherboard of your friend or the system manual for more details - the battery is usually very inexpensive and easy to replace once found.

  • Date and time of change every morning to 01/01/2006

every day the same problem. I have change the date, time and set the time zone (London), it works fine all day. Next day, back to 01/01/2006. Help, please...

You shut down your machine at the end of each day?
If so, you probably have a dead motherboard battery.
Go to your computer manufacturer's website and download the manuals for your computer.  One of them should explain how to change your battery.

  • Date and time of change in Windows XP?

So I have a Windows XP desktop computer. I shut down my computer, unplug it, put on an hour later, nothing happens. But sometimes if I let him stop for too long, as day 4 or more, it will be displayed this error message on the image below:

I set the time for the computer at the right time, but after leaving it too long, stop the computer reset the time until the year 2000, but nothing else is touch (my files, settings, etc.). Although this doesn't bother me, just click on OK each time this summons and that changes the time thereafter, but I want to know is there a way to solve this problem.
In addition, as I said, I always disconnect my computer when he was arrested. Maybe the battery into the computer (I saw one time when I opened the case to another computer) is not charged enough?
    Thanks for the reply.

It is certainly because you have to replace the battery of the time clock (RTC) real (also called the CMOS battery or the BIOS battery).

If you have a desktop/Tower computer, battery replacement is easy and inexpensive.

If you have a laptop, it may be easy & inexpensive or it could be difficult and expensive.

Typical desktop/Tower battery is a "coin cell" battery number CR2032 available at your convenience corner or pharmacy (USA):

  • Photos do not sort by time when the Date and time are adjusted

I'm the combination of images of my friends with those friends, using Mac Photo of OS X V10.11.4. Because the dates of our cameras vary, I used "Image, set Date and time" to change the dates of the imported pictures. When the dates and times are adjusted, the photos are sorted by date no time. Added photos changed the given date are sorted at the end, regardless of time stamp. The sort options in the pictures leave much to be desired.

Where are you seeing this? All the photos are sorted by date/time, the photo has been added to the library - Photos (years/collections/moments) are sorted by date/time pictures

You can select the photos of interest and create your own album of them and then sort but title ascending or descending or by date

  • IDS 4215 date and time change after restart

    Hello

I am facing problem with cisco IDS 4215 (version 6.0), date and time of change in the device after reboot. What is the command to save the configuration. record or write mem does not work.

    Amarjeet Singh

Once the date and time changes are applied Cisco IPS CLI, they should have been saved. No additional step of "savings" manually is necessary.

Also, have you thought about Configure NTP on IPS server. IPS synchronizes time with NTP server, if there is no difference.

I suggest you contact Cisco TAC and report the problem of equipment.

    Kind regards
