changing font on el capitan

It seems to be an interest in restoring the large Lucida font as was the Mavericks and OS prior to OS el capitan, which now sports a rather hideous police, at least for imac users. There is one program out there that does it, but admits bugs. I would like know if there is a surefire way to restore Lucida on my new OS and I was wondering why Apple may not give us the choice.

Well, we are not allowed to speculate on the reasons Apple does or does not do something, so we can help you.  To answer to your general question, there is no way that I know, don't no without hacks party 3rd (that I never lawyer/Advisor and are not yet of course in this case exist) to change the system from San Francisco to Lucida Grande font or anything else.

    Is there a way to change fonts for text in slide show? I used to be able to get around it in iphoto by pasting of text written in a Word doc, but the new photo app doesn't let me do. Just, it converts all the boring white lucinda text.  Any ideas? Be also great to be able to offset the text where in the slideshow according to coloring in a picture.  I would have thought that the new photo app will give you more options, very frustrating.

  • Can't change fonts!

    My hard drive blew on me a month ago, and since I had problems with font selection in Photoshop. I'm not sure if it's coincidence or related.

    Nine times out of ten, when I try to change a font, it will jump to my default font (Arial). I can type the full name of fonts in hit enter or click on it and it will reset to Arial. I can scroll to the police I want, but when I click on it... He jumps to Arial.

    I have reset my preferences and even re-installed 2015.5 CC, but still experiences the issue. I can't literally change fonts! My solution was to open another document that uses the font I want, where I copy and paste into the new document then, but it's very awkward.

    Any ideas what's happening? Thank you very much in advance!

  • change font and font size in all text fields

    Hi, I want to change font and font size in all text fields. I tried under the code, but it changes the font size but has not changed the font. can u pls help me. Thank you...

    Police - Courier New

    the size of the font - 10

    Loop through the fields in the document

    for (var i = 0; i < numFields; i ++) {}

    Get a reference to the current field

    var f = getField (getNthFieldName (i));

    Change the properties of certain types of fields

    {Switch (f.type)}

    case 'text ':

    f.textFont = fonts. Courier New;

    f.textSize = 10;

    }

    }

    You have a good reason to want to use Courier New instead of the built-in Courier font? In all cases, you must change one line to:

    Use the built-in font Courier

    f.textFont = fonts. Court;

    -or-

    Use the Courier New

    f.textFont = "CourierNew;

  • Text with a hyphen (which is imported from the word) won't change font of what it was in Word

    I create a book by importing the text in a Word file. When I met a word that is a hyphen, the hyphen characters is stuck in the police since the Word file - I can't change it manually, using styles, or by changing the hyphen glyph itself. If I put any other glyph where is the hyphen, the police attaches, and it seems the road dictates the style, but not the hyphen (even when I change the font in the glyphs Panel). If I delete and retype it, it changed again the police. It seems that there is some sort of setting that makes the hyphen to act like this, but I can't understand what it is. To be clear, it's the entire word that is stuck in font of the word, not only the link file. How can I made the hyphen and the Word change fonts and obey his style?

    If I put any other glyph where is the hyphen, the police attaches, and it seems the road dictates the style, but not the hyphen (even when I change the font in the glyphs Panel). If I delete and retype it, it changed again the police.

    It behaves as if there were a GREP Style in the paragraph style changing the text on either side of a hyphen.

  • How change font color of bookmark toolbar in FF 5.0?

    Hi, I've just updated to 5.0 and have made some customization, but I need to change the font color of bookmarks toolbar. I can't locate the directory of Chrome or the UserChrome.css file. Then... How can I change?

    You may need to create the chrome of your profile directory. You can find your profile by searching for cookies.sqlite. It will be in this directory. Create a subdirectory there, named "chrome" and create the userChrome.css file a text editor and put it in there. The application is case-sensitive, then use the model of upper and lower case letters THST I just used. The userChrome.css file must start with this line:

    @namespace url ("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul");

  • Why Apple did remove the ability to change fonts and activate the mode night in ePub created in IBA?

    Re: "on the files ePub created with iBooks author - Apple Support"

    I want to IBA allows you to create ePub files that take advantage of all THE features of iBooks. However, in accordance with article above, this is not an option: "you will not be able to change the fonts or view files ePub created with these new models in night mode."

    I use the night mode all the time, and I often want to adjust the size or font style, so I have these options available in ePub files I create. I don't want to lose the ability to use features iBooks group of Notes and cards to study.

    I've tried the iBooks format, but these capabilities are also not there, since iBooks are made to be formatted in a particular way and has not changed a lot. That's why I'm set for the ePub format.

    Is there a way to create ePub IBA files that actually can take advantage of all THE features of iBooks?
