changing of different size blocks to a single standard for each
Perhaps the question raised once zillion, but one of my students asked me if it is possible to make the same size of different blocks that have different sizes? right kind of tricky, no? I must admit that I have to give my tongue to the cat. ? Any idea? script? Thank you very much
If you want to place images in CS4 or Cs5 you can do it in blocks.
http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/InDesign/6.0/WS8882A67C-50CF-4825-8129-B4B051398F71a.html
If you have CS3, you can do it in several graphic blocks of drawing at the same size, then use file > place and select the images to import, use Alt (Option) click to place the pictures in the frames.
If you have already placed all the images, then you can resize an image to the size you want, including the dimensions of the graphic image and the introduction and scale the image in the image.
Select all the other images in the graphics, and then use the object > transform > transform sequence again individually

SQL query to retrieve a single record for each employee of the following table?
Hi all
Help me on the writing of SQL query to retrieve a single record for each employee of the following table? preferably a standard SQL.
CREATE TABLE xxc_contact)
empnum NUMBER,
alternatecontact VARCHAR2 (100),
relationship VARCHAR2 (10),
phtype VARCHAR2 (10),
Phone NUMBER
);
insert into xxc_contact values (123456, 'Rick Grimes', 'SP', 'Cell', 9999999999)
insert into xxc_contact values (123456, 'Rick Grimes', 'SP', 'Work', 8888888888)
insert into xxc_contact values (123457, 'Daryl Dixon', 'EN', 'Work', 7777777777)
insert into xxc_contact values (123457, 'Daryl Dixon', 'EN', 'Home', 3333333333)
insert into xxc_contact values (123456, 'Maggie Greene', 'CH', 'Cell', 9999999999)
insert into xxc_contact values (123456, 'Maggie Greene', 'CH', 'Home', 9999999999)
expected result:
EmpNum AlternateContact Relationship PhType Phone

By Lalit Kumar B...
Specifically, the two simple solutions provided were:
1 using the row_number, entitled Oracle ranking based on descending order of the inside telephone each empnum group. And finally selects the lines which has least rank (of least since that order is descending for phone).
SQL > column alternatecontact format A20;
SQL >
SQL > SELECT empnum, alternatecontact, relationship, phtype, phone
2 from (SELECT a.*, row_number() over r (PARTITION BY empnum ORDER BY phone / / DESC))
3 FROM xxc_contact one)
4. WHEN r = 1
/
EMPNUM ALTERNATECONTACT RELATIONSHIP PHTYPE PHONE
---------- -------------------- ---------- ---------- ----------

Daryl Dixon EN work 7777777777 123457
Home 123458 Maggie Greene CH 6666666666
2. with the help of MAX, Oracle automatically assigns the maximum phone for all the rows in each group of empnum. And finally selects the rows with the maximum phone. Order by clause is omitted here intentionally. You can find out why.
SQL > SELECT empnum, alternatecontact, relationship, phtype, phone
2 (SELECT a.*, MAX (phone) over (PARTITION BY empnum) rn FROM xxc_contact one)
3 WHERE phone = rn

Capture of single failure for each test
Assuming that the learner is allowed 3 try to click on the file menu, is there a simple way to display an error different each time that the learner clicks at the right place? Or this would require an advanced action?
In fact, my preference would be not to show any legend of failure on the first attempt. So to show a failure caption on the second try and a different legend broke down on a third try.
Jinx, wrongly understood the question. It will be a bit more complicated, there is no system variable that records the number of attempts at the level of the question. It works:
- create three boxes click in exactly in the same place on the location where the user must click: CB_1, CB_2, CB_3
- Click each box has only one attempt, only the first CB_1 is configured to be visible and has no caption failure, for CB_2 and CB_3 create the failure caption intended
- set the action on each box of click success
- as the last attempt for the first action, click Inbox CB_1 create an advanced standard action FirstAttempt
- Hide CB_1
- See the CB_2
- as the action of the last attempt for the second box click CB_1 create an advanced standard action SecondAttempt
- Hide CB_2
- See the CB_3
Heavy workflow, I know. Even with sharing of actions, which I recommend if you have version 7. Problem is that you always have to change the settings, in this case the ID of the boxes click if you need this several times in the project.

single source for assistance of various guides online
I am pleased that the pod layout of single source in RH7 supports different channels.
I also need to output different webhelps online using common subjects. This is what should be called unique source.
Is it best practice to create a set of taylored and overlap of the tables of contents for a related set of online help?
My work environment consists of a single software package with different interfaces for different types and levels of users. For each type of interface, another webhelp is mounted.
How can I make sure that the title of the online help displayed in the web browser tab help is the right one for each variation of the online help?Single source is what allows you to obtain more than one out of a single source, either those exits ten different webhelp output or just one and out of print.
You can have as webhelp output you can manage. Right click and add new ones or copy existing as a base.
Best practices depends on your content. You can have different tables of contents for each output, or you can have a smaller number and apply conditional tags. So let's say 10 outputs you might have only three or four tables of contents and apply conditional tags to vary their. It's what suits you best and can be understood by everyone you work with.
The scenario you describe would be ideal for HR work.
The title bar and tab browser take their text in the title of the project in the project settings, so you will need to change this for each output.

ACS5: method of different external authentication for each user account
ACS4 I could specify a different external authentication for each user account. I'm trying to find a way to do the same thing to the ACS 5? When I go under identity in Access Services, I see the system requirement: username I can use to identify the user who logs in, so that I can directly to a source of different identity, but the separate political configuration for each user is very inconvinient and would require hundreds of policies, in our case.
I was hoping that we can create a kind of attribute for each user. SysAdmin > Configuration > dictionaries > identity > internal users. I created the new attribute called 'Storage of identity' with the enumeration type, which has 4 values: internal, Entrust Token, Token RSA, counts AD and checked the box "add a political Condition." I can then go under each user and select the storage of identity for each user. But now I can't find where I can use under part of identity of an access policy. I can use it under "Group mapping" but that maps to one group and not to an identity store. I need to use it under the identity somehow, but I can't find how.
Hello Roman,
The attribute you created will be available when the user is authenticated through internel ID store, so that you cannot use to select the store ID.
The best way to do this would be to use other attributes to differentiate the identity store.
Allows you to create a sequence of identity store so that for each user, ACS will try to authenticate by using multiple identity store.For example, you can use these:
Network status
> End Station filter
> Device filter
> Devide filter Ports
Here you can import filters from a file and it would therefore be more scalable.
Hope this helps.

Definition of different number of REB for each key
Hello
Assuming I have the following tables and sample data:
create table test_tbl_aa (aa number(2)); insert all into test_tbl_aa(aa) values(aa) select level aa from dual connect by level<=4; create table test_tbl_aa_n (aa number(2), n number(1)); insert all into test_tbl_aa_n(aa, n) select aa, lv from test_tbl_aa cross join (select level lv from dual connect by level<= trunc(dbms_random.value(1,3)) ) v;
For example, running the stmt insert in the table test_tbl_n the inserted rows are:
AA N -------- 1 1 1 2 2 1 2 2 3 1 3 2 4 1 4 2
In the example above defined result a stable set of records for each aa (for each series).
Is it possible to generate different number or records in the table for each data value test_tbl_n
column aa?
For example for:
AA N -------- 1 1 1 2 2 1 3 1 4 1 4 2
Note: Oracle db 11g. v2
Thank you very much

Do you mean like this?
SQL > insert while test_tbl_aa_n (aa, n)
2 Select aa, level
test_tbl_aa 3
4. connect by level<=>=>
5 and aa = aa prior
sys_guid() 6 and prior is not null
7.6 rows created.
SQL > select * from test_tbl_aa_n;
AA N

Change Web page sizes in different screen sizes.
Hello
It is a wire ralated to a page size Web to adapt to different screen sizes. For example, if you design a Web page on a small screen and want the size to change and adapt to a view of the site on a different size.
If anyone knows how this is possible please reply.
Use the default CSS positioning (which is not at all positioning). Use CSS margins, padding & / or floats to align elements on the page.
Change this:
#apDiv {
position : absolute;
width: 1110px;
height: 1296px;
z-index: 1;
left: 200px;
rop: 47px;
background-color: #FFFFFF;
}
to this:
#apDiv {
width: 1110px;
margin: 47px auto; /**centers on screen**/
text-align: center; /**centers on olders browsers**/
background-color: #FFFFFF;
}
NOTE: change Divap1, Divap2, etc... More meaningful IDS that indicate where the container is used on your page. Example: #wrapper, #header, #footer, #captions.

button with text of different size
It is possible to have the text of different sizes on a single button? Whenever I highlight a section, and change the font size, it changes the whole button. I'm using labview 2009 and a guy at work has version 7.1 and with this version you can do it. Any ideas? Thank you
Instead of select part of the text you can copy paste the different size text and it will work

Different size images in a cursor
I'm working on my site, and I use a cursor that I found, but the images I use are of different sizes and orientation (portrait and landscape) running the cursor extends completely wise page width and height wise he uses about a third of the page. I want it to be similar to this model of Squarespace: Ishimoto - Squarespace. Basically I want a landscape image to display in this way and a portrait image to display in its own way. Below you will find the CSS for the slider that I'm trying to settle. I tried to change the values of the width and the others, but unfortunately it only changed the width of the entire slider, not only the images. I know it's a simple solution, but I'm basically just trying to expand my knowledge some more here while I continue to work with Dreamweaver. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am not afraid.
You will need to use your LIghtroom/Photoshop skills to make images work with your design layout.
This isn't something that Dreamweaver or your plugin can do for you.

Our current provider has a recommended 4 k Cluster size. So all our VMDK is configured with a cluster of 4K, size happy days.
However, the new seller we recommend 8 k.
So I thought v2v ING our server domain to the new platform, change the size of the block in the Advanced tab of VM-converter in the process, which gives us the system formatted with 8 K blocks.
There is however a Requirement MS that the system drive is 4 k (otherwise it wont power on). Its this little pesky 100 MB partition...
Now comes the rub;
The 100 MB system partition, part of the first drive (C:\). If I P2V the first drive with a cluster of 8 k size I of course get a non bootable server.
When in fact I want actually to v2v 1 drive (C:\). As 8 KB, but leave the small single 100 MB system partition with the default of 4 k, however because they are part of the same disc, and converter seems to work at a disk level and not the level of the Partition, converter just wants to make all that is a problem.
Any ideas on how to accomplish the foregoing.
See you soon

Hi there mate
Sorry for the delay, we are testing at the mo and I could not devote much time to this.
Any ways I cracked it, I was testing on a 2 k 3 box where something like minitool would be necessary to finish the change of cluster size in the C:\ for the reasons given.
But when v2v - ing (with VM converter) a k box 8 or 2012 2 the system partition is presented to the converter as an independent drive and can therefore remain @ 4 k while the C:\ D:\ etc. can be adjusted as required using the advanced settings.
So in the end, you have a system with drives using the required cluster size and a system bootable...
just for future reference should it be useful to anybody.

Windows of different sizes from command line
Hello
I'm running Firefox and - width - height of command line options. The problem I have is that these settings are ignored if a Firefox window is already open. In this case, all of the following windows are open with the size of the first (original) window. It does not matter what I type for width and height. These parameters are used only for the first window, when Firefox is actually started.
I've mitigated it wrong before with javascript used in web pages to resize the window to the document load event. Now I have to upgrade to the latest version and resizeTo does not work on windows that are not open via window.open.
What are the options I have to open multiple windows of Firefox with different sizes? They all use the same profile.
We use a very specific environment, closed and controlled with a web server and not internet access. There was no need for update of Firefox 4. Now, we want to upgrade, but this change in functionality prevents us from the upgrade. Because the computers of our customers are on CentOS 5, we would be upgrading to Firefox 17 which is part of the standard CentOS 5 distribution.
I wrote a bash script that made a list of the windows, firefox lance made a list once again. It then searches the differences in the lists of before and after opening firefox. In the end, the script uses wmctrl to change the size of the window which were found also recently opened. There is a small chance that some other window might appear while the opening of firefox and it will be be reduced too. However, in our case, this probability is very low and it is not worth.
Here is the script which takes 3 parameters: width, height, URL.
#!/bin/bash diff(){ awk 'BEGIN{RS=ORS=" "} {NR==FNR?a[$0]++:a[$0]--} END{for(k in a)if(a[k])print k}' <(echo -n "${!1}") <(echo -n "${!2}") } window_count=$(wmctrl -l | wc -l) windows=() wmctrl -l > output exec 0<output while read id type machine name do windows=("${windows[@]}" "$id") done # width and height in this call are ignored if some other firefox window is already open /usr/bin/firefox -P profile -width $1 -height $2 -new-window $3 & new_window_count=$window_count while [ "$window_count" -eq "$new_window_count" ] do #echo waiting... sleep 1 new_window_count=$(wmctrl -l | wc -l) done new_windows=() wmctrl -l > output exec 0<output "$id")="" "${differences[@]}"="" $i="" -e="" -i="" -r="" 0,-1,-1,$1,$2="" <="" differences="($(diff" do="" done="" for="" i="" id="" in="" machine="" name="" new_windows="("${new_windows[@]}"" new_windows[@]))="" pre="" read="" type="" while="" windows[@]="" wmctrl=""> done I had to do some tweaking in the script to fool the HTML editor. Some formatting of text is performed, that is not source friendly. That is why the script might look formatted strangely. </output>

Copy from HDD to disc results external hard of different sizes but the same number of records
Backup hard drive to external drive, 800 GB in total. When finished copying the file on the external drive size is smaller than 40 GB, but there is the same number of records.
Different disks often present of thisdue fragmentation on each disk and the differences in the block sizes used on each disc. As long as all your data are present then there is no need to worry.
