channel of plot in script

Hi guys,.

I've been using Diadem only 1 month and I got answers a lot of this forum earlier. This question may seem trivial, but could someone tell me how to plot a channel by writing a script. So far, I have this:



View.Sheets ("sheet 1"). Cursor.Mode = "GraphPoints".

The only way I found to import a channel in this area is to call interactioOn(), import it manually then put an end to the interaction. I want to do it manually, I tried this but it would give errors:

View.Sheets ("sheet 1"). Areas ("area: 1"). DisplayObj.Curves.Add (1.3)

Can someone give me a hand?

    Yes, to work with Advanced Blending, you need to use scriptlistner.

    However, there are other ways of working with channels. Some use the DOM, some also need scriptlistner.

    In my project, I need to do some calculations, and then get the data plotted in the given report model. I use an automated for this script. My script is doing all the calculations and then he did not select and drag and drop the selected channels on the report model. His recording of the report template is empty.

    I'm fighting to get the specific channels data plotted using the script. I need the selected channels appear on this report template and then get saved.

    If your script creates calculated channels, then you know what you're naming them - why your presentation of the STATE could not contain references to these names channels already?  Is it a dynamic number of conditional curves to the results of the analysis, or perhaps a dynamic number of REPORT sheets?

    You can programmatically change the reference of string of existing curves or the columns of the table with a VBScript DIAdem.  You can also add a curved column or a table with a VBScript DIAdem.  But the more you can save in the TDR file, work less you programming, this is the best place to start.

    I have a few questions about the manipulation of the channel property 'unit' by scripts.

    Case 1: If the unit in the chain is not specified in the properties, what command should be used to add the inside unit?

    Case 2: When I create using the string ' Call.Root.ChannelGroups (1). Channels.Add ("name", DataTypeFloat64, 1)', empty space of unity being, what other command can be used which was available to the units to the breast?

    Case 3: Consider that I have channel (channel A) with the already defined unit (x), how can I replace the unit with another (y)? (Units of x and there belong to different physical quantities, so the ChnUnitConvert)

    Hi Fazil,

    The key word for SCRIPT DIAdem units is "unit_string". If you open the SCRIPT and open the channel property list you can select the property unit and drag & drop it in the SCRIPT Editor. This creates the code of script for the property.

    Case 1
    You have the options of towing: a quallified assignment complete or a channel object variable (if you have more settings for the channel of the second alternative is better)

    Data.Root.ChannelGroups (1). Channels ("mychannel"). Properties ("unit_string"). Value = "MyUnit.

    or

    Dim oChn
    Set oChn = Data.Root.ChannelGroups (x). Channels ("mychannel")
    oChn.Properties ("unit_string"). Value = "MyUnit.

    case 2
    You must add the unit after the creation of the channel

    It's the same as case 1 or if you do not want to use an already existing channel device, it can look like this

  • script error when you access The Weather Channel

    When I look at an office of The Weather Channel, I get a script error 01 and cannot be used or not, message stays there, can not close this window or minimize it even, I have to restart the computer to get rid of it, solutions or ideas?

    How I work around the script error. I right click on the icon on the task bar and leave the office. Then the weather channel again then it works. It's always a problem to process after I downloaded Java for her.

    View > clear Guides which can be saved in an action.

  • How can I count the pulses in a channel?

    I have a channel consisting of 0 and 1 (data comes from a proximity sensor) and I was wondering if there is an easy way to count the events (i.e. pulse) to (Advanced) Tiara? At its simplest, I just need a method to count the number of rising edges in the channel.

    A script would be the way to do this? If so, is there any example autour code to demonstrate how to analyse the lines in a channel?

    @Martin: IMHO your aproach can operate, but need not because of input data and the right compares value (10 in your case).

    If the input data are not a pure 0-1 step you can get more the a value greater than 10 for a rising edge.

    The comparison value depends on the distance of time and the channel values, and it's not easy to calculate in advance.
    The other drawback I see is that you need a channel of X, which is not really necessary to solve the problem.

    I think my code will be more robust (IMHO as I mentioned).

    @PorridgeMan: Yes, it's a shame it takes certain steps of DIAdem to solve this common problem.

    First: By script is possible, but generally to slow down. My approach is to insert a 0 value at the beginning

    a copy of the input channel table and compare it to the input string. If a value is less than 0,5 (half of you maximum values)

    and the other is higher I put a 1 0 otherwise in a result string. Even in more complicated cases, the comparison value could

    be calculated or alienated by a moving average.

  • Paths grouped inside the screw of traces transparent script

    I am running into a problem of script with Illustrator CS6 - one that has been plaguing me for some time now: groups within the compound paths.

    I have a script set in place to extract all the colors used in an Illustrator file, as well as information halftone, CMYK, etc..  It basically loops on each path in the file and leans on its fill (if any) color, the color (if any) race, gradient points (if any), etc.  If the element that is watching is a group, it just plunges in the group, which resembles all its components by calling the function even recursively.  Ditto for transparent traces.  He also put in place to manage most of raster images, whether it is a colorized bitmap or a CMYK image, etc..

    When the script fails, however, is when it runs in a compound path that contains a group.  Now, normally, would not even possible in Illustrator.  If you try to create a group of two paths, then composed them, Illustrator simply removes the grouping.  However, there are some programs that use of some people who, when exporting to a file EPS from them, some of the paths end up being groups inside transparent traces.  Not to mention that all my people here to search these paths of training problem, can I do with the script?  Here is the script I currently have:

    I know it's a bit messy right now, with lots of ' $.writeln purposes, of which some are even commented out because they caused debugging errors.  In any case, I would be very grateful for any help on this matter.

    the only thing I can think of, is to go through all the elements to the Document level, instead of at the layer level, this way the script will see all paths

    I'm trying to find a way to concatenate/merge several files TDMS analog measurements with DIAdem 2012, in order to have more than one file. I be provided with attachment 1.

    I am beginner in DIAdem and don't know not the language of the script code. En 986KO on this forum, I found the script 'Import data from several Files.VBS use', and changed lines 17 and 18 not 'csv' by replacing "tdms" (as it was stated on another topic on the forum). This script also appealed to "concatenate groups."

    The problem is that the TDMS files contain several groups (the slots on frame of measures Canada) each containing several different channels. This script concatenates so each group and the result makes more sense the script to modifier is certainly "CONCATENATE Groups", but in what way?

    Hi Oliver,.

    Try to run the script you downloaded once for each group and encodinng group to load in the assignment of "ChannelSet" in line 10 using the index group, like this:

    ChannelSet = "[1] / *" or ChannelSet = "[2] / *".

    I just found out that this example breaks in 2014 DIAdem because the 'DataFileHeaderAccess' command has been relegated and replaced by a new.  I need update soon.

  • JQuery/JavaScript being updated automatically in PS

    I do a customization for a delivered PS page. We are currently at 8.52 PeopleTools. My problem is that some fields on the page to trigger their own events FieldEdit and PS decides then "Refresh" after the FieldEdits are made and it "refreshes" the code for my own separate FieldChange event.

    Here's what I put in place. I added a new button on field/column of a grid on the page to act as a 'click' event (FieldChange). This event calls a JavaScript function that now is simply making an alert but will eventually be a JQuery UI modal dialog box that will display the children of the line data, the user has clicked. All of the below code works when you click on the grid field I added, it displays the alert in "MyNewFucntion". The problem surfaces when you make a change to a field above the grid and tab out of it, PS "refreshes" and runs the my JS function call again even if it has not been selected.

    I added a definition (HTML_JS_01) HTML that looks like this:

    I have a box HTML (HTML_AREA_01) added to a page that is linked to a drift/work record(MY_WRK_RECORD/FIELD1) that has the following code on the RowInit:

    Local channel & html;

    With the above code, I have the effect of having this set function when the page is loaded.

    I have another box HTML (HTML_AREA_02). There is nothing special about this one that I use just to inject a call to my 'MyNewFunction' JavaScript function

    I then added a new field to an existing page network. This new field is in a derivatives/work record related to the grid. The FieldChange event for my domain that is newly added, I added the following code:

    Does anyone know how do PS refreshes do not in this way? Is there a different event I should use? Do not forget that I use the grid/FieldChange features so that I can possibly grasp the key value of the row, I'm on and query the database to get the child lines for the line that the user has clicked.     If your RowInit is at level 0, it should be fine. In this case, it should only run once and only set $. MyFunc once. To confirm this, you can add the following JavaScript code:

    What you live with the field in the grid, is that the field is filled again whenever the client sends an Ajax component on the server request. This repopulation of all data fields called your naked JavaScript every time. JavaScript isn't wrapped in a kind of event handler, it's just a naked script ready to be invoked.

    The real problem seems to be with your FieldChange. From the code you've shared, looks like you want to call JavaScript every time someone clicks on a button. I do not see in the notes where the new domain with a FieldChange PeopleCode had a button, but I'll assume that it is. If this is the case, then I think I would have done it differently. Instead, I would have used RowInit to fill the JavaScript code in the grid and set a HTML button (or hyperlink) right there in the HTML code.     I'll get into serious trouble with UTF-8. I just tried to insert a lambda in a NCLOB column in one of my databases and it has been converted into a reversed question mark. I checked the channel reaches my PHP script code correctly. Also selecting RAWTOHEX (column) in this SQL Developer, the inverted question mark is already stored in the column. So the problem must be somewhere between PHP - OIC and the database. Insertion of a lambda via SQL Developer works. I can also correctly it back via PHP.

    I use the last PHP - BILL (2.0.8). v$ version says "Oracle Database 11 g Enterprise Edition Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64 bit Production.

    The database is quite old and uses WE8MSWIN1252 like game characters and AL16UTF16 as the NCHAR character set. That's why I use NCLOB instead of CLOB. However, I connect to the database with AL32UTF8, because my application is running in UTF-8 format. I was under the impression that this would result in automatic conversion of UTF-8, UTF-16, by inserting in the NCLOB columns, but apperently this is not the case. It seems that there is a kind of double conversion, first UTF - 8 and UTF - 16 then WE8MSWIN1252 because some characters not ASCII as a (a trema) get properly converted to UTF-8, UTF-16.

    Any ideas? I am at a loss here. Thanks in advance.

  • Copy of a dataset of new channels within a script

    I am trying to copy specific data between two sets of values (which are specified in the script) X and then draw a curve regression for them.

    I managed to set the values of cursor and create a group, but the only way I can see to copy is to define indicators and to copy the data points that can be made in a script (as far as I see)

    Research on the forum suggested using the value of the coordinate x to find the line but the data I use has several values of Y to coordinates X which means it won't work as it only returns the row in the first finds it.

    Any suggestions? Copy data to the new channels would be the most useful solution, but if I can calculate a regression between the two x values line then I might be able to work with it.

    I managed to do this without the help of flags by manually setting data in new channels with an if function, according to Brad code here http://forums.ni.com/t5/DIAdem/Can-I-copy-data-points-from-a-VBScript/m-p/1048090#M11359

    Just changed the if function to check if the data was between certain values rather than checking if they had reported (could not get the chnflagset command to work)

    I'm looking to draw channels, by using a report model, without having to rely on the index of each channel. I am processing the data from different sources and although they have the same marking convention for certain types of channels, some sources generate unique channels that can shake the index, and I have to manually put the parcels on the right channels.

    Is there a way around this without the use of scripts?

    I think that you can configure your report models as they reference channels by name, as opposed to the number.

    On the report tab, go to settings > Layout Set Up > layout settings and I believe that you change the channel reference it as well

This means populating a channel table in this Panel with the necessary data, but we cannot find a way to add strings to a table in the script.     Yes, it's simple. You prepare your VIEW with the channel table layout and use the add on the columns collection method.

    The command might look like this:
