channel of the image, obtaining a specific pixel

I important issue. Suppose that we have a photo with dimensions of 20 x 10 pixels. We treat the image as a matrix .

How do I to go to the pixel on the RED channel, with index (5.2)?

any ideas?

See the routine DissolveRectangle in Dissolve.cpp. It does exactly what you are looking for, but he has no x and the loop is for you. It works on one channel at a time.

    1. put the image files you want in the slide show in an album and genre as you want. Follow the Apple document to prepare images for iDVD: iDVD ' 09 (7.x): preparing images for iDVD slideshows

    2 - Launch iDVD and select an older theme, not animated.  You can change the background of the theme by dragging the image file of your choice, black or other, in the display pane for the menu.

    3 - Click on the button '+' and add a slideshow from the menu.

    4. double click on the sideshow button to enter the mode of construction of the slide show.

    5. in the media pane click the Photos button.

    6 - click on iPhoto and find the album you created with selected images.

    7. Select all images in the album and drag to the left in the slide show window.

    8 - Select the transition for the slideshow and the time for each slide on screen

    9 - follow this workflow to help ensure the best DVD video qualty:

    Once the project you want it save it as an image disk via the menu file → save as Disk Image . It will separate from the process of encoding of the burning process.

    To check coding mount the disk image, launch a DVD player and read it.  If it plays OK with DVD, encoding is good.

    Burn burn to disc with utility disk or toasts to the slowest speed (2 x - 4 x) in order to ensure the best quality.  Always use higher quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are recommended in these forums.

  • Error decoding channel of the Image

    I am creating a string from a picture to put it in an XML file. I do something like that...

    fileConn = (FileConnection) Connector.open (fileName, Connector.READ_WRITE);
    Base64InputStream binput = new Base64InputStream (fileConn.openInputStream ());
    int length = (int) fileConn.fileSize ();
    Byte [] b = new ubyte [length];
    binput. Read (b, 0, length);
    binput. Close();
    s = new String (b);

    But I get an IOException exception with the message "decoding error".

    How can I solve this?

    You must WRITE a Base 64 encoded, not read file.  It must be read in the no code file, and then write a base64 output stream and capture bytes created from that.

  • move a channel? replace the channel of the color by another way?

    -actually a double question, two closely related themes. In an RGB image, I have to move all the pixels of a channel (as I suggest a whole layer) using the move tool (selection of the channel in the channel Panel). Which is impossible. (First two questions: why this is impossible and how I make it possible?). And as a solution, I thought that I could duplicate the channel, move its contents (which is possible) and use it to replace the original (call a new one as the old one, of course). But no! Cannot do it either. If I do, instead of the RGB channels, red, green, blue, red copy, I get, Magenta, yellow, red. I don't really understand, and can't find anything about it.

    I would be grateful for any source or the same explanation.

    You should be able to move channels if the image is flattened.

    Even without flattening the image, you should be able to copy and paste

    a duplicate or new channel to an existing channel.

  • Problem with the image...

    Hello, I don't know anything about LiveCycyle but I have a colleague who made a PDF file on-line for our Department. She would like to have a custom border which is part of our brand strategy.

    I made a border in Illustrator and exported per share. It is important in LiveCycle but the corners in the look of the image, as they are pixelated.Corner.jpg

    I'm doing it in the wrong program? Is there a best file format I should try? Should I try to do in LiveCycle?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Well,.

    It is also possible, even if the user interface of the designer does not offer a way to do this.

    Here is a brief explanation.

    1. create a rectangle on the master page.

    2. set the border thickness and corner style and RADIUS in the object palette.

    3. the switch in the source XML > you will see the XML of the rectangle structure.

    4. Add the 3 corner elements more and edit them. A rectangle has 4 of them and Designer simplyfies only the source xml, if all 4 are the same.

    The order of the angle is to the left at the top left > top right > bottom right > lower left.

    To book a square corner just remove each attribute but the thickness.

  • The scaling and positioning of the images in the framework

    In JavaScript, I try to place an image within a framework which already exists and then put the image to a specific size and move it to a specific location in the framework.

    I'm the placement using the:

    your "pageItem" is the framework. [Once you placed something in this framework, you can see in "pageItem.graphics [0 ']. Then "pageItem.verticalScale = 90" should be "pageItem.graphics [0] .verticalScale = 90".»

  • Increase the physical dimensions of the image in high resolution?

    I have an image I want to use in a video, if it is not physically large enough to fill the dimensions of 1920 x 1080 video, she has a resolution of 300ppi and video needs only 72 dpi. How to take advantage of the fact that it's an image high definition and increase the physical dimensions of the image? Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you.

    If you are told that you should print at 4 inches by 6 inches at 300 dpi, follow these steps:

    • Choose Image - Image size.
    • Check the box resampling .
    • In the resolution box, type 300 .
    • Put 4 to 6 inches in the height and Width boxes (or vice versa if it's a bitmap portrait).

    You will find yourself with an image 1200 x 1800 pixels that will be printed at 4 by 6 inches, your goal of printing at 300 ppi.

    Printing will be probably not as sharp and detailed as if you had printed at 4 by 6 inches without downsampling at 300 ppi.

    You will do well to try to begin to understand how the images are expressed in pixels, and why the above is true, while in the future, you will know when the issue of the requirements.  This thread you might also like:

  • Draw the line or point to a specific pixel on the image

    Hi all

    I have an image in 8-bit grayscale, I extracted the Image column indeces who have defects. I need to mark the defective pixels with an indication of line or a point on the image. Can anyone suggest me how to go to that topic.

    Hello

    first of all, I do not know how to interpret 'column clues', but in the entrance to overlay you pass it as a coordinated 'y' - it should be "indices of lines? You use image rotation?

    Secondly, why you pass an array empty for loop for coordinates 'x '? So that the oval of overlay to work, you must enter valid "x, y" coordinates of the location of the oval.

    Best regards

  • Double-click the event on a specific part of an Image to the screen

    Hi all.

    Thank you very much for reading this post and be able to help.

    I want to catch an event of doble click on an Image to the screen.

    The poblem is that I don't want to catch it if the user has clicked on 'Section of the Image' the display of the Image, I want to catch it only if the user has clicked on the edge of the Image to the screen. Is it possible to know where in the Image was clicked by the user?

    Thank you very much!!

    In fact, you can obtain the coordinates of the mouse click, and if it is not within your area of the image, you can catch it.

  • Invert the Pixels of the Image

    Hello

    I have a vi that calculated centroid and diameter, and the algorithm behind it works on intensity levels. My current work is on cards, so I need to reverse my pixels of images (see attachment file). He NEITHER has a built in reserved vi which (except invert IMAQ)?

    Thank you

    It works very well.  You don't see the results.  You load a new image in the next iteration until it had time to update the display.  The new image replaces the previous reverse image.

    Try the following solutions:

    Add a delay to your loop.  The two views shows the current version of the image (reversed).

    Switch the right-click on the snapshot on both screens.  This preserves the image in the State wherever it was when you posted it.  Very useful when you keep reusing the same image for processing.

    You can also use probes, which should use the snapshot method.

  • Persistent for the subtraction of the background image collection (how to get the maximum value of each pixel in a series of images IMAQ)

    Hi all

    I have a system of LabVIEW which takes advantage IMAQ tools and features of the Vision Development Module.  A useful feature that I put in place is to be able to take a snapshot of the video stream and then subtract this single image among the subsequent images.

    What I want to do is to collect a series of images instead of one, and then create a unique image of these frameworks is just the maximum value of pixels in each pixel (a bit like a display persistent).

    It would probably be very easy to be implemented by converting the image to a table and then by doing math number on the table and then turning into an image, but I hope that someone here may know how to use the IMAQ/VDM tools to do this in a way more compact.

    Thank you very much
